This is, by far, the best money management app I've ever used. Very user friendly, great displays of finances and features, seamlessly integrates with all my cards, banks, and investment platforms. 100% worth the money.

Attach your accounts, check it daily, for three months, setup some rules to make things automatic, check it weekly for 3 months, set up more rules to make more things automatic, check it once a month, rules as necessary. very sleek. very smooth.

Keeps connected to my banks & finance better than Rocket Money. Rocket Money can't even connect to half of my financial institutions anymore so I had to leave. Monarch also tracks my budgets better.

helps me stay on track. I can't find a better system because the categorization rule engine is just too good.

It was very good at automatically categorizing my purchases and letting me now my spending compared to my budget.

used to be really good, but there's no way to have only the original statements show for my transactions. So now you have to rely on the apps ability to interpret what category each charge was for. especially frustrating when it's accurate only about half the time.

I am giving one star because they lost all my data further than 3 months old due to connections to my accounts timing out, not reconnecting properly, becoming duplicates, and subsequently being deleted.

Really want to love the app but all my bank accounts eventually disconnect even after trying different connection methods.

the only reason i paid for the subscription was so I can have all my accounts sync automatically but half the time I have to enter in things manually because the accounts always get disconnected.

I paid $99 a year so Monarch can invest in new functionality. They released retirement planning and paywalled it, asking for more money.

2 year user this is now a bait and switch app can't wait to see how many other features they hide behind there new 2 tier pay system.

cool features but fatal flaws. specifically you can't create an accurate budget in the app because it doesn't count mortgage or loan payments as an expense. like the interface better than quickbooks, but monarch isn't suitable for budgeting

I tried using Monarch for a year based on advice from my financial advisor but finally gave up and went back to YNAB because Monarch doesn't force you to align your budget with the real numbers in your bank account.

budget and paydown goals don't make sense. Paydown goals never recognized what was actually paid down, and the mortgage budget wouldn't recognize my payments even though it was categorized as a mortgage payment

well it looks like the ai broke it because ever since its addition the app freezes doing simple tasks. ugh.

AI integration ruined this app like all others. Please remove it so I can resubscribe to the service.

Overall a great app with an excellent interface but recently it has been plagued by lag and general slowness. It's especially bad when you are switching back and forth between apps due to needing to fingerprint scan every time.
