Awesome cross-platform features with excellent transcription quality. I especially love the AI feature. Where I can search content in each transcription or over several transcriptions periods.

It has been insanely helpful!! I have long COVID & have short term memory loss & ADHD. I use it to record every meeting-formal and informal so that I can go back & listen for details, search conversations, & look at the action steps otter lists for me

great for meetings. spares the note taking time. like how it detects and writes down action items as well for one to remember after the meeting.

loses my recordings. never happens on Google Recorder, not after hundreds of hours of recording. otter AI frequently loses my recordings. total junk.

App has gotten super finicky. I'll dictate notes for myself over 10+ minutes and come to find that it deleted the recording or can't process the recording

Paid for Pro and not impressed. When I had the free version it recorded the meeting so much better than the pro. I saved the meeting to one of my folders...It erased it. It's gone.

This app keeps joining all of my meetings, anything with a zoom link. Even after detaching the integration with my calendar accounts, it keeps joining and I can't get it it stop.

The app is useful, but very intrusive. I uninstalled it but it kept logging into my office online meetings as my AI Assistant even when I'm away from work. This caused problems for me.

WARNING avoid - still sending me messages couldn't transcribe meeting after I deleted app and removed access in Google. don't know how they know about my calendar events.

Does not allow you to copy generated summary

they ruined it, cannot copy meeting summary out of app. before you uses to be able to copy the summary of the meeting. now you can only export or copy the whole transcript.

great summaries but you can't copy summaries on Android and only iOS instructions are displayed

widget that is a button that allows starting a recording is no longer available.

The 'bug fix' on android completely got rid of the widget.

The widget for Otter ai is unfortunately not available and there is still no update on this. This makes for a less convenient experience when recording.

Had trouble distinguishing voices, frequently misunderstood, and even words spoken slowly and clearly were often mistranscribed.

most of the time it can't distinguish between 2 speakers talking so it combines them together, getting it wrong.

Only 30 minutes of free transcription available. Plus, it claimed 5 speakers when there was only one.

Just cut our minutes, but they didn't change the price. Switching to PLAUD.

Ran out of transcription space without notice and couldn't upgrade from the app..
