PetDesk — приложение-мостик между хозяином и его ветклиникой: запись на приём, напоминания о прививках, рефилл лекарств и медкарта питомца в одном месте; главное напряжение в том, что клиника навязывает его как единственный способ доступа, а у части людей оно просто перестаёт работать.

Love having this app that is a one stop shop for everything for my pet and the vet. All the info, reminders and appointments in one place make it super easy to know anything in reference to my dog.
The app is easy to use and I have all 5 of my dog's info in one place. I can request an appointment, I get reminders, etc. Great app.

I can set reminders to make sure everyone gets their meds on time and it helps me keep track of those complicated dosing schedules (like 2 pills 3x day for 5 days then 1 pill 2x day for 10 days then 1 pill daily, etc...)
this is great for finding out when your pets shots are due!

Перестаёт работать после обновления клиники: вся информация исчезает
Самая болезненная жалоба: приложение, которым человек пользовался, внезапно показывает только кличку питомца — пропадают карта, история прививок, возможность записаться и рефилл, а переустановка не помогает.
all I get now is the name of my pet. can't reorder meds for the dog. all info from the vet has disappeared. I uninstalled then reinstalled and signed back in. and still nothing.
nothing seems to actually work. when our vet first started using it, i could request appointments and refills through the app, but now everything just does nothing but display old info.

Ключевые функции регулярно не срабатывают: запись вылетает в пустой экран, бронирование отваливается по таймауту посреди процесса, кнопка рефилла не реагирует — и в итоге человек всё равно звонит в клинику.
basically unusable. constantly times out in the middle of booking and appointment. extremely frustrating to use.
When I click a prescription to refill it does nothing. I have reinstalled the app, closed and opened it again, etc, and still nothing.
when requesting appts it brings me to a blank screen often so I always have to call the vet anyways.

Часть людей в принципе не хочет ставить софт на телефон: им нужен веб-портал, чтобы смотреть записи о прививках с компьютера, а закрытие сайта ради приложения воспринимают как навязывание и слежку.
Forcing customers to use a mobile device app as the only means of accessing your service is lazy. We do not all live on our smartphones.
Stop removing web portals and only having phone apps. I don't want your software on my phone. I need to be able to pull / view vac records on a website on my computer.

Вход — отдельная боль: форма «забыли пароль» не принимает email или не присылает письмо, а после тихой смены требований приложение врёт, что пароль неверный, вместо честного «смените пароль».
I forgot my password and when I click on forgot my password it takes me to a message that tells me to put in my email but it won't let me so I have no way to recover my password
it could not send me an email to reset my password- had to uninstall
don't lie to me and tell me that my password is wrong after trying every single password I have ever used in existence when in reality the requirements for a password have changed.

Та самая фишка с напоминаниями у части людей работает наоборот: оповещение о просроченном приёме приходит спустя недели или месяцы, либо дублируется уже после того, как визит состоялся.
Instead of notifying me of upcoming appointments. it wait till a few weeks/months after to tell me that I'm past due on appointments.

Данные плохо синхронизируются с клиникой: появляются пустые дубли питомцев, которые нельзя объединить или заменить, а умершие много лет назад животные годами висят как «активные».
the vet office scheduled the appointment and created another new pet entry, and there's no way for me to replace their blank pet entry with the one that I created and added all the details to. Gotta re-enter all of it which is annoying.

Поле даты рождения нельзя ввести вручную — только прокручивать колесо от сегодняшнего дня, что превращается в пытку для 15-летнего питомца, до которого надо мотать на годы назад.
Pet Age field is ridiculous. Just t ry to provide birthdate for a 15-year-old cat.
There is no option to just enter the birthday manually, instead you have to scroll from the current date (as of this writing, it's Dec. 27, 2025) all the way to February 2018
