Actually useful. I tested three apps and this was the only one to get it right and have good pictures of it to verify.
does really well at identifying. even if the picture is poor because its a tiny bug.
I really adore the AI, it speaks in a factual manor and never messes up.

Great app. very good free tier, and a reasonably priced pro tier too. Great for when you see a weird bug and just gotta know what it is.

Опасность насекомого скрыта за платной стеной
Приложение показывает красное предупреждение «опасен для людей и животных» — но объяснение что именно опасно открывается только по подписке. Пользователи проверяли: реального вреда у насекомого не было, это маркетинговый страшок.

I just installed to identify a spider. In red bold print, it says the spider is dangerous to humans and pets. However, you can't click it unless you pay. So I looked it up online. It is not dangerous at all.
It works but it tries to scaremonger you into paying for premium by tagging harmless insects as harmful to animals and/or humans only because they can bite you if they feel threatened but the bite is not dangerous at all

Some of the bugs I find aren't listed in the app, like the Rose Hooktip Moth (Oreta Rosea). There should be an easier way of contacting support so they can add more bugs to the list.
Update: A very common spider genera is entirely missing (Drassyllus), so I can't specify the right correction for one. This leaves it mislabeled and reinforces a wrong result.
I checked, there was no genus Draposa in the correcting list, which means the lists of animals this app has are limited.

good app but wish it had info on native ranges of insects.
AWESOME, but lacks crucial identifying information: Distribution range & distinguishing features between species/variants. I have to search elsewhere for this info to confirm the right match. One can easily pick a species not even present in the country or region.
I rarely bother to review apps, but this one earned it given misidentification could prove a significant hazard. I got this app and tested it by providing profile/scientific level id pictures of various arachnids from official sources... it got every one of them wrong and even said one with significant venom was relatively harmless.
