Бесплатный аккаунт автоматически блокируется и удаляется при неиспользовании — пользователи теряют переписку и привязанные к этому адресу сервисы.
Extremely short time of free email account before it is effectively banned. Lost my important account like this just for the reason it was important, and I didn't use it frequently enough for unimportant things, hence got account got blocked.
So secure your account gets deleted after six months. Thanks!
You can only have ONE free account???? And they delete it after 6 months? Maybe I have some life circumstances that kept me preoccupied, or some health issues, so what delete it without my consent??

Just don't bother with this. I installed and created an account, was told it would take 24 hours to approve. After 24 hours received a message saying I would need to email admin to have account approved. Sent 2 emails, nothing received, no approval so uninstalled.

My account needs to be approved by me sending an email from my tuta account — but I can't send any emails without my account being approved. genius logic guys
Уведомления не работают на Android
Push-уведомления приходят с задержкой в 40 минут или не приходят неделями — проблема хроническая и не решается через настройки батареи.
Love the end to end encryption especially with privacy being chipped away everywhere. However, there are fundamental issues that keep me on Gmail. Sync is not immediate. I get a new email on desktop browser but my phone won't notify me until like 40 minutes later.
When they changed name from Tutanota to Tuta, they updated the app. Since then, it has stopped notifying me of new emails. It will go weeks without a notification and then suddenly a notification.
Edit 5 to 3 stars: notification do NOT works reliably. I constantly miss important email and need to manually verify regularly my inbox.

No ads are great but inbox search feature being locked behind a 8€ a month subscription is a bit too much. Completely the opposite of how they should be doing business.
I am a paying user and have been for years now. If you are considering switching to Tuta my recommendtion is: don't. Although most parts of Tuta are great, the search functionality is so horrible that it's single-handedly making me reconsider switching to a competitor. Indexing emails takes literal
It's an alternative and that's about it. Lacks functionality and stability.
