A straightforward manual expense tracker with categories, charts, and spreadsheet export — built for people who want a no-frills tool to stay on top of their spending.

What users love

Open, log an expense, see your balance — nothing extra

A minimal interface that doesn't overwhelm: people actually come back to this after trying more feature-packed apps

Beyond expectations! Too helpful!

Easy to manage

Easy to use and keep track of your money. have tried different ones but always come back to this 1

Loyal for years — first app reinstalled on a new phone

Decade-long loyalty: users report 5, 7, even 10 years of daily use, and it's the first thing they reinstall after switching devices

This is a great app for tracking spending. I've just moved it to a new phone and no problems at all. I strongly recommend this app, I've used it for years!

I've been using it for 6 years, and I'm very happy with the app.

Been using it for years. Love it.

Seeing where money goes changes habits and helps people save

Once spending is visible, users cut unnecessary purchases and start setting money aside

The app is so good, and you can use it everyday to check the things you spent your money on

Mindset changer

very nice app

Custom categories with icons, colors, and names

Create as many custom categories as you want and style them however you like

amazing app

Good app. It allows me to create custom categories and it is easy to use. I quite like it, especially being a free app.

Simple app, easy to use.

Pie and bar charts break down spending by category

Category charts make it clear at a glance where most of the money goes

The app is very easy to use, and the charts are really helpful. I also appreciate the shortcut that I have added to my home screen to add new expenses quickly.

super intrusive ads, just avoid its unusable when adding expenses

I’m very happy. This app is very good for tracking day-to-day expenses.

Carrying a balance to the next month requires manual entry

Users who figured it out praise the rollover feature

There are good features how ever. the feature for carry over should be set to carry over by default. I thought I lost everything when the new week started. looks good so far!

simple, quick...that's what I needed

I find this app super helpful in categorizing spending and being able to create reports so I can settle up with my cohabiting partner every month.

Refunds have to be logged as income

Some users manage by entering the amount as a negative

very nice app

Great app for spending tracking. The only thing missing is a way to input refunds without messing up the total amount earned that month. I would love a third category called "Refunds". Then Income + Refunds - Expenses = Balance. Or even better a way to see the expenses - Refunds for a more accurate view.

Have loved the simplicity of this app for a few years as I only need a straight forward tracking app but am ditching it soley because of the sheer irritation of incessant, grating, & ridiculous Temu ads. They clearly own the app. I have an eye-twitch now.

Budget widget and quick-add shortcut

The widget shows remaining balance; the home screen shortcut lets you log an expense right in the store

The app is very easy to use, and the charts are really helpful. I also appreciate the shortcut that I have added to my home screen to add new expenses quickly.

A great app can also use on all devices using Dropbox

I find this app super helpful in categorizing spending and being able to create reports so I can settle up with my cohabiting partner every month.

Multiple accounts work, but switching between them sometimes breaks

Users appreciate being able to separate accounts — personal, family, etc.

Simply LOVE the app

I find this app super helpful in categorizing spending and being able to create reports so I can settle up with my cohabiting partner every month.

I've been using it for over a year and happily paid for it. It makes budgeting your finances a breeze.

Icon and design look dated

Some users specifically ask that nothing be changed — they like the familiar look

Easy and simple to use, which are the 2 main things I look for in a finance tracking app. I love that you can customize the icons too.

User friendly and not over complicated like some of the other apps

Fantastic! Just basic income and expenses categorized so I can see where my money is going. I was able to add as many categories as I wanted without restriction. I can create repeat transactions. I can view the data the way I want, eg. weekly, starting on the day of my choice. Everything I need. Thanks!

Users want a proper desktop version

Dropbox-based sync between phone and computer works for some users

easy to use, simple and effective

A great app can also use on all devices using Dropbox

excellent easy to use app!!!

A lifeline for people on a tight budget

Helps users stick to limits on restricted income: students, parents, people on a fixed paycheck

I love the app simplicity

Easy to use, great interface, gentle on the eyes. Not easy to use on multiple devices, need Dropbox to sync.

Tiene todo lo necesario hasta ahora, me encanto!

Helped catch fraudulent card charges

Regularly reconciling expenses in the app helps users spot unauthorized or erroneous charges

Tiene todo lo necesario hasta ahora, me encanto!

Does what I need it to, easy to keep track of weekly spending

What users hate

No custom date range for filtering

Only day/week/month/year options; no way to define a custom period, e.g. for a trip

App seems to do what I need at present. Would be handy to enable me to track expenditure in categories (which it does well), but for a specific range of dates (expenses during a trip) which it does not allow me to do. other than this feedback it would be a useful app. Many Thanks.

Great app, nice and simply but very helpful

Does exactly what I want it to do, track monthly expenses and it does it without any bloat or fluff. Never a glitch that I recall, week done.

No bi-weekly or four-week pay cycle

Only weekly and monthly cycles are available; users paid bi-weekly can't plan their budget properly

I've used this app for years while I was single and loved the simplicity. But now I'm married and need to track expenses jointly with my wife. Please please please add a shared expense tracking feature that can sync across two users. Please. Otherwise I have to switch apps

Useful app. easy to use.

good for tracking

Users want a shared budget for two people

No shared access or sync between two accounts for couples tracking spending together

I love the app, but it would be great if there was an option for 2 people to use the same app.

I find this app super helpful in categorizing spending and being able to create reports so I can settle up with my cohabiting partner every month.

very convenient and easy to use recommended

Users want to attach receipt photos to transactions

No way to attach a photo of a receipt or invoice to an entry for richer record-keeping

I've been using it for over a year and happily paid for it. It makes budgeting your finances a breeze.

very good and really useful

My life is now debt free I pay my bills 💸 on time and I keep money in the bank Thank God for wallet.

Budget limit is only available as a single total, not per category

You can only set one overall spending limit; individual category caps aren't supported

too many pop-up ads and there are

I've used this app for years while I was single and loved the simplicity. But now I'm married and need to track expenses jointly with my wife. Please please please add a shared expense tracking feature that can sync across two users. Please. Otherwise I have to switch apps

excellent easy to use app!!!

Users want subcategories, tags, and payees

No subcategories, tags, or payees for more granular spending breakdowns

I have been using the app for the last three years to track my expenses. Now I have changed my mobile phone and would like to know if I can transfer all the old data to my new device.

still learning...easy to follow

I have recently downloaded this app, it is efficient and easy to use. I upgraded to the paid version. This app is easy to use and well laid out. Quick to enter data.

Users want a cleared/posted transaction flag

No checkbox to mark a transaction as cleared by the bank, making reconciliation awkward

Very helpful.

easy to use and free

excellent easy to use app!!!

Same-day entries appear in input order, not chronological

Transactions within the same day are ordered by when they were entered; time can't be set and new entries don't appear first

straight forward

There are good features how ever. the feature for carry over should be set to carry over by default. I thought I lost everything when the new week started. looks good so far!

This app lets me easily track a weekly spending limit, and a separate limit of "spending money". There is no unnecessary fluff like a lot of budgeting apps. 4 stars only because when I change the weekly limit, I don't want it to historically change the limit.

Users want an all-time total and a running daily balance

The furthest view is a yearly total; there's no lifetime savings sum or a day-by-day running balance

I have used this app for the past 5 years religiously. It is very easy to use. Simple yet effective. My only note is to add a feature for attaching recipts to items.

Easy and simple to use, which are the 2 main things I look for in a finance tracking app. I love that you can customize the icons too.

A pleasure to use.

Users want auto-import from bank SMS, multi-currency, and CSV import

Requested: auto-logging from bank SMS, multi-currency support, and CSV bank statement import

Does exactly what I want it to do, track monthly expenses and it does it without any bloat or fluff. Never a glitch that I recall, week done.

I've used this app for years while I was single and loved the simplicity. But now I'm married and need to track expenses jointly with my wife. Please please please add a shared expense tracking feature that can sync across two users. Please. Otherwise I have to switch apps

Having LOUD intrusive pop up ads is the quickest way to have me uninstall an app. Update 2 years later. I mistakenly installed this app again and started using it before real8zing why is was so bad before. The ads are even worse and more intrusive. These are similar to TV ads. They take over your phone for 30 seconds at a time and you can not shut them off or X them out. The worst app!!
