Создать аккаунт без знакомого с активным WeChat от 6 месяцев невозможно — сканирование QR чужим устройством обязательно.
this is really ridiculous how do you sign up when you need an account to scan what about people who literally dont know anyone who has a wechat account and people who dont have credit cards to sign in?
It must have taken a lot of effort to design such a poor app! Everything is counter intuitive and poorly designed, a complete and utter mess. Registration is a nightmare, requires another user to scan a QR code that pops up in YOUR phone!!
Why does it need another Account that has been registered for 6 Months It just made it harder to sign up.

i hate how this app is SOO strict. i want to reset my password bc i dont remember it. i answer their 14 questions, most of the answers is right and i remember them but after many times i tried it, still got rejected.
My mother just lost the contacts of her friends she made when visiting China. Just because she changed her phone and wasn't able to login ever again to recover.
Honestly, this app is very frustrating. 😒 It doesn't show online status or reliable message delivery information. Creating an account is difficult, and if you get logged out, recovering access can take days, weeks, or even months through support.

Android 17 update: the text input does not properly adjust to keyboard when this app is a bubble. Prior review: This app eats up device storage space. Any shared pictures/videos/chat history are all stored on device.
I've never seen a UI this outdated. very slow with too many verifications..
