An editorial reading of the saved reviews
Loopsie creates animated photos with motion effects and AI video. Historically the app was praised for live photos with controlled movement direction, but functionality has been cut. The main complaint now is that videos process for anywhere from several hours to a full day and output a random face instead of the user, and sometimes just a black screen. The promised AI generates ready-made presets rather than real photo processing.

What reviews praise
The 'live photo' concept with controlled movement was strong, and results for simple nature or object animations sometimes come out atmospheric.
What reviews complain about
- Video generation takes 10-24 hours and frequently outputs a stranger's face or a black screen.
- Men are turned into women in the output.
- Results are described as 'amateur' even in successful generations.
