Carly is an OBD2 scanner with deep BMW support: coding, full module diagnostics, and solid code descriptions. Works well for BMW owners. For other brands the feature set is much thinner, and an auto-renewing subscription you can only cancel through support generates consistent frustration.

Worked for my BMW 128 (12V battery change) but barely works for a Lexus LX470. Do not buy for anything other than a BMW. I can't even read basic OBD codes for the Lexus.
