An editorial reading of the saved reviews

This is a free Pennsylvania-specific app, and it basically works. People prepare and pass the exam on the first try. The main downside is ads right in the middle of a test that break focus and sometimes kill an attempt.

What people use it for

For Pennsylvania residents willing to tolerate ads for free prep. Those who cannot stand ads mid-task should look at a paid option.

What reviews praise

  • It helps build confidence before the exam and genuinely prepares you for the permit.
  • Nice design, different modes, access to the handbook.
  • Many passed and are grateful.

What reviews complain about

  • Ads every couple of questions are the top complaint in nearly every review.
  • One long ad even counted a test as failed.
  • There are wrong answers, typos, and odd wording, and the stats counter sometimes shows unfinished on a completed test.
