Japanese

authentic rating

Japanese (the Kawa dictionary app) is a Japanese dictionary with built-in flashcards and a basic SRS system. The cards exist but are secondary the main use case is word and kanji lookup. Card settings are limited (you can't choose what to show). The pronunciation feature has been broken for many users for several years, which is critical for language learning. Handwriting kanji input underperforms competitors. No sync between devices.
