An editorial reading of the saved reviews
The classic focus timer with a virtual forest gamification and real tree planting: the mechanic works, the design is pleasant. The weak point is the shift to a subscription that upset paying users, monthly challenges occasionally fail to register, and data was lost for some users after a forced account sign-out.

What people use it for
Students and freelancers who need visual motivation with a minimalist timer
What reviews praise
Not wanting to kill the tree keeps you at your desk longer than any act of willpower.
What reviews complain about
Monthly challenges are buggy, pausing the timer now requires a subscription, and stats sometimes do not match actual sessions.

I've studied for an hour straight just so I can have cuter plants
I love this app! It helps me focus when I practice my instruments sometimes when I am bored I will just make a timer to watch it grow it pass passes the time and I have gotten better with my instruments!
I love this app a lot! I have severe ADHD and struggle with time management. I love the events they do and the fact that I can plant a cute little tree every time i set a timer! I love it so much that i got an annual subscription!
