An editorial reading of the saved reviews
The only platform with real access to unreleased tracks, demos, and independent artists. The interface lags well behind Spotify in terms of organizational convenience, and AI-generated music in the feed degrades the quality of discovery.

What people use it for
Underground music fans, DJs, and people who follow artists before their official releases
What reviews praise
A catalog of unreleased tracks, demos, and rarities that is unavailable on any other major platform.
What reviews complain about
There are no tools to train the feed: you cannot flag a disliked artist and they keep appearing in recommendations.
What users experience
2 excerpts from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.
the reason it's hella cool and amazing is because you can find every unreleased song ever I usually listen to unreleased stuff on here and then spotify but I recommend this for people who want to listen to unreleased music or start off a rap career.10/10
love how it's so easy to get a platform and find new artists and build a portfolio but SoundCloud itself isn't supportive to small artists which is a shame but I appreciate the platform it provides to them
