An editorial reading of the saved reviews
An app advertising voice and camera translation where neither works reliably. Live translation freezes mid-phrase, camera translation does not translate at all. Automatic charges with no price disclosure, and canceling the subscription from within the app is impossible.

What people use it for
Not recommended in its current state.
What reviews praise
The conversational interface for a live phone translation is conceptually well designed.
What reviews complain about
Voice recognition cuts off mid-word, and there is no way to switch the language pair without restarting the app.
What users experience
2 excerpts from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.
I am enjoying the app but it often misunderstands my attempt at voicing the sentence or word I am trying to have translated making me have to type in the word or sentence even if I repeat it several times slowly and with good annunciation.
I have been using Google to send messages to Russian speakers and they tell me that the English to Russian translation produces too much nonsense that is unreadable to them. While I can view Russian to English and mostly get a sense of what they are trying to tell me, there are still too many flaws.
