Sling offers a flexible package structure and a wide channel selection, but a DVR that silently drops recordings and an unstable app make basic tasks a lottery. The program guide runs with errors.

What users experience

1 excerpt from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.

I pay almost $75 a month to have all sports and programming blacked out while live, but I pay specifically for local coverage and sports, but the NBA finals are blacked out in my area. Also, service drops unexpectedly.
