An editorial reading of the saved reviews

Web Video Cast does exactly what it promises: cast video from a browser to a TV without extra steps. The connection is established on the first or second attempt, subtitles do not always transfer, and after 20-30 minutes of playback a random looping repeat of a scene can occur.

Users who need to stream video from a browser to a TV without cables or complex setup.

What reviews praise

Users appreciate that the phone screen stays fully independent from playback on the TV while casting is active.

What reviews complain about

Subtitles are not passed through when casting to most TVs, which makes the app useless for foreign-language content.
