An editorial reading of the saved reviews

A reliable basic recorder with background recording and multi-device support. The weak point is transcription: after a few weeks it starts crashing the app rather than doing its job. Data may not restore on a new device after logging in.

What people use it for

Anyone who wants a simple recorder with background operation and is not counting on transcription.

What reviews praise

Runs in the background without interruption, works across all devices simultaneously when everything is healthy, and the free version includes enough for simple tasks.

What reviews complain about

Transcription crashes the app after roughly one to two months of use.
No way to append to an existing recording.
Audio editing requires reverting to the original with no intermediate saves.
Data does not restore when switching to a new phone.

What users experience

2 excerpts from the breakdown. These are individual cases, not a verdict on all users.

Free version has few features, but sufficient and well selected from the entire set. Easy to use. Does not crash. Very nice that it operates in the background.

Edit: HUGE flaw, I actually tried to use it. It's extremely frustrating because they don't have an 'undo' they have a 'revert to original' and no way to save the progress. Dude… why don't you have an undo?
