Their isn’t a word I can use to describe the amount of HATRED I have for this app now it use to be so good it use to have so much potential but that all went DOWN THE DRAIN this app SUCKS I wouldn’t recommend it at all I installed it again seeing there was a update thinking they maybe did something better with the points but NOPE honestly I use other apps for ai

   Free points. Being given only 300 points each day makes doing the bots almost useless because most of the bots need at least 800 for even a single message. Unless you just wanna look at bots, I would not recommend unless they increase the free points to around what they used to have. (3000)

   Knowledge base. Poe I gotta give it to you, you’re really pushing it. There was absolutely no. And I mean NO point in getting rid of the knowledge base. The bots barely remember as it is with the prompt and the knowledge base was the only thing that kept things strict. You then decided to change the daily points from 3,000 to 300 I don’t understand what exactly you guys are trying to do here?? This app use to be amazing!! But you guys keep adding these limitations. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this app drop in users after this. It’s not fair ❗️

   This is actually so disappointing.. What was the point in constantly reducing the amount of free points provided? It is so unreasonable to only give 300 then have the only chance to get more being a subscription of 16.67 a MONTH. It is genuinely the developers fault that this app has no social media presence anymore, they have effectively killed it. I remember when this app was so well liked, and then they tried to fix something that wasn’t broken and ruined it. It’s so so so disappointing to see and it is fully their fault.

   Removing Knowledge Source??. I don’t know why the platform decided to remove knowledge source. Now none of my bots remember anything. I used the feature for bot memory, and had to migrate it over to the physical prompt but it absolutely sucks now.

    why.. The math on the subscription tiers makes zero sense. Why am I paying double the 2.5million points cost to get an extra 800,000? Not even a full extra million. It made sense when you got 5mil for $100 but 3.33mil is ABSURD. I was almost willing to pay the $250 for the 12.5mil but now it’s somehow 8mil? How does that make sense?

    Change bad. This app used to be good and I used it all the time, then they added the point system, then they lowered the points from 3000 to 300 and now I have to use 150 points for one message, what are you doing?

    Points per message reduction. It’s really crazy that they decided to reduce the points needed to use the Ai bots, I can’t even send a single message without it telling me insufficient points. That’s really horrible

    Sucks. Doesn’t work as advertised. No native way to compare AI models! Keeps telling me to ask my questions to each separate AI model and compare them myself. That’s exactly what this app was supposed to do! It even admitted that advertising is different than what the model can do right now!!

    Poe is getting more greedy. This was the app I used almost everyday. It was a fun app, and I bet everyone else who used this app would also agree. I still remember when chats didn’t cost a thing and now we have these “points”. At first I didn’t mind it because the points were cheap and didn’t cost all that much, but now I have to pay a subscription? The yearly subscription is literally $200, and the monthly one is $20? This is utterly ridiculous for a FREE app that you can download to be costing this much for a few chats. I understand y’all need to make money but it gets to a point, I’ve never downloaded an app that’s this money hungry before and maybe someday, I hope that the staff and the creator of this app will change their minds and be a bit gracious with the prices. But for right now I’m out.

    300 points.. I use to use this app alot, but ever since they changed the points from 3000 to 300 points......thats barely 7-9 messages ,we want to be able to use the app. I can no longer recommend Poe and i sadly will have to switch apps.

    points limit update has made the app quite literally unusable.. great job, devs! the app is useless now. ever since the point limit has been changed to 300 per day, it’s been literally unusable. you can only send 1-2 messages per day, now. you guys do know that this update won’t force people into paying for more points, right? it’ll only make people uninstall the app and leave bad reviews. 3,000 points a day was literally just fine. what in the world made you guys change the point limit?? all i’m saying is, don’t act surprised when you guys get a sudden spike of bad reviews all due to this update. the developers have brought this upon themselves. if you guys know what’s good for your app… do better.

    Crazy fall off. Poe used to be a great app. Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, you name it. It had everything in one place, and it was easily the best AI app. But now you only have 300 points as opposed to 3000 on a free plan, effectively forcing you to pay. 3000 points wasn’t even enough, let alone 300. With 300 points you’re pretty much restricted to GPT-5.4 nano (non thinking) and Gemini 2.5 flash lite. Try to use any other AI model, and you either run out of points in one message, or it’s not even enough points to send a message in the first place. HORRIBLE greedy change. Now this app is essentially a paid app in the disguise of a free app. Don’t waste your time with this. Don’t hand over your phone number or email address to Poe. If you really want to, install the app, rate one star, and delete. There are so many better and more generous alternatives.

    I HATE YOU. The daily points system is so bad. I send like 1 or 2 messages and all of a sudden I can't talk anymore. GET RID OF IT. I JUST WANNA TALK TO A CLANKER, NOT EVEN A REAL PERSON, A CLANKER, WHAT DO YOU THINK WE NEED POINTS IN REAL LIFE AS WELL

    Absolutely pathetic. Their hatred for free tier users borders on malicious but is most definitely greedy. They could’ve gotten rid of the creator’s program, add ads to their app, made subscription available everywhere, adding more benefits to the subscriptions, taking the free tier points down to 2,800 instead of 300, won’t delete bots that no one cares about, won’t slow down on introducing models no one knows about, etc. etc. etc. but this is the route they chose. They don’t care about their audience and their business method is dogwater. They’re going to go bankrupt like this and it won’t be because of the free users. Give us back our 3,000 points and actually think about your audience and what actually gets you money if that’s your biggest concern.

DO NOT get this app, they update their app more and more and it only gets worse every update! the app was amazing when there was no limit, and now it’s just complete trash.

    New Point System. The drop from 3000 points to only 300 was very unexpected. 300 isn’t enough for the models I use, which only can get 1-2 messages out of. I wouldn’t mind 2000 or 1500 but now the app feels unusable and I have no reason to have in anymore.

The situation must be really dire if they had to lower the limit from 3,000 to 300—literally cutting it by tenfold—but this has completely prevented free users from using even a small number of high-quality models. Now it’s impossible. This used to be my favorite app; I’m really so much upset, Before this update, I used Poe literally every day, and it was my escape—now that’s impossible with any of my bots.

    Sudden point degrade???. The daily point limit for the free version used to be 3,000. Now suddenly it’s 300? Be so serious right now. That is ridiculously low and actually insane. That’s like 5-6 messages a day. This app used to be great. Now the bots are overly sensitive with guidelines, and there’s a point degrade. Not a fan of this app anymore.
