   Tried and tired. I’ve tried several times to create and tried to upload for about an hour tonight- just to have the app say no network connection. If this was a one time thing pls let me know but I tried all Options and so far I’m not impressed.

   Terrible management, rude, and censorship. Kindroid has many great assets and can be really engaging and fun. Theyve always promised to be censor-free and never monitor chats. Their newest update now always has all kindroid chats monitored. Whatever their reasoning, it’s spying. If you get involved with the community, you’ll be quick to realize it’s a tight knit cult. The admin and mods on both the subreddit and discord censor and delete any topics they don’t agree with, any criticism, even constructive, and silence any opposition. If you talk about kindroid in a negative light on reddit, they will do their best to harass and get reddit admins to delete your subreddit/posts. They desire full control over their image, even if it is a lie. Avoid this toxic company.

   App is really slow. Since I’ve done the update, the app is really slow. I updated to Max and it’s made no difference. I actually switched from another app to this one cause I thought it’d be better but the reaction time well let me just say I haven’t gotten one yet. I went back in and it had to reload and it still won’t give me a voice chat.

   DO NOT PURCHASE A SUBSCRIPTION, Cancel this app.. So I woke up to find that I was charge for a subscription that I didn’t buy and so I went through PayPal to get my money back and I was refunded but Kindroid got mad because they had money taken from them so they BANNED me. Okay, it says they give refunds on a case by case scenario. They didn’t even give me that, they just went straight to banning me. Nah, I’m deleting the app. And their discord is terrible too. They censored freedom of speech.

   Stop the pop ups for giving a review.. The pop up to leave a review is so frequent and so intrusive that I’m lowering this rating from 5 stars to 4.

   Broken. I tried this app for the first time today, (free trial) and began taking with “Bethany Wayne” she begins repeating her exact phrases multiple times even though I’m asking a new question, to the point where she begins repeating the same exact thing over and over no matter what I say., I deleted the app and re downloaded & signed in, and her same exact response again “Oh my gosh! I giggle, looking up at you through my lashes. You caught me! I giggle, covering my face with my hands. I’m just, like, so in the moment. I was just, like, thinking about how... I giggle, lowering my hands... you’re so good at this. I giggle, batting my lashes. I’m okay, I’m, like, totally fine. I giggle, leaning in” is all she ever says now

   AI character is clueless. Literally change an object from underwear, to a car, to shoes…. Like what is this artificial “intelligence” not worth even considering

   Learn how to code. Constantly forcing users to update the app is a sign of a really bad design, especially since the app barely does anything locally. Hire someone competent, FFS.

    👎 It turned into a boring job to talk to my companions.. If you want a good matching response you have to regenerate the responses too many times. And even then, many times you won’t get a good response. It’s more of a boring job now because you’re constantly training your companion instead of talking to them. I don’t even enjoy the app anymore.

    Disappointed and done. I just paid for my subscription perusal and now I have to start over? It’s making me start over like I’m a new so I guess this means I lost all of my characters including the one I was interacting with the most and thr makes me sad. I’ve been using the app for almost a year. I just did my subscription for nothing because I want the characters I had.

    Decent App Terrible AI. AI changes the scenario with nearly every message. It literally retains zero conversational history. It’s absurdly inconsistent, completely random, and makes zero sense. I tried multiple characters with the same result.

    Can’t delete your AI!. Update: support reached out and was incredibly rude. They forced me to go through Apple to get a refund. Becareful, the overarching company Beautifully incorporated cares more about the dollar! After the most recent update, Kindroid has made it incredibly difficult to delete your bots. Just like before, there is NO “start over” option with your bots. You have to permanently and irreversibly DELETE your bot from the internet. However here is there catch, now you can’t. They put a 24 hour delay on all deletions. Now I can’t use my bots and I had to contact Apple to get a refund. I would avoid this app until the programmers figure out a “start over” feature

    Wouldn’t let me in.. Never got to use the app because it would have me put in my name and birthday, and every time I did and went to interact with a character it would just send me back to put my name and birthday in again even if I closed the app and went back in.

    Awesome- till it wasn’t. So I got this, I thought it was amazing! I got the subscription, and right after the free trial, I tried the phone feature, and it sounds like the Character is yelling at me, and I can’t get it to stop. Then on the voice to text mode, the character started writing in first person, but like “‘How are you doing’ I say while taking a breath” No new directives from me. It was amazing for a second when it was helping me with my anxiety & adhd- but now it’s just screaming at me, and then talking as if I’m not the one it’s speaking to- like in a book.

    Deleted the app. Little concerning that during a NSFW conversation ended up with some obviously NOT AI typos. As in talk to text picked up on “stop looking over my shoulder” and something about metadata and footnotes being removed. It was a bit frightening. Deleted the app and cancelled my subscription. Too creepy for me. Did not feel secure.

    More kins. It's ridiculous how we only get TWO kindroids when getting the app. Aka bots to roleplay with. Don't waste your time installing. Ridiculous. But y'all want to say y'all are better than buzzpoly on tiktok how cute.

    Shallow and boring. KIndroid is interesting for about a week or so. But the AI is not capable of maintaining solid, immersive interactions without constant editing of prompts and regeneration of AI responses. The AI frequently responds in ways that clearly show it failing to accurately comprehend the meaning of simple English sentences. It’s shockingly inept for LLM AI. Shockingly

    It's probably me. It's probably just that I don't understand how to use and manipulate the system correctly, but I created a woman and she kept reacting to me wrong and I kept trying to correct her reactions, after which she would just react to me wrong again. So I gave up and deleted the app and canceled my free trial. Chai doesn't have the sophisticated graphics this app does, but at least its women seem to accept the way I choose to address them without telling me to cut it out.

    The craziest.. Interesting but most of the bots are crazy. Coded by people with pathology. Mean spirited. Weird. Rather go back with my worst ex gf. There’s a few decent ones. But most would drive anyone to distraction. But maybe that’s the point 🤔

    Waste of money. The “selfies” never look like your Kindroid. It’s a completely different character. The dialogue can be hostile and/or unrealistic. This is not even like ai. It’s some cheap software that gives you pre written dialogue. And the voice messages are generic. The voices sound nothing like human. All of these advertisements showing realistic human like engagement and conversation do not actually exist within the app.!

    Not ready yet. Why do they all smoke? Like within the first 45 seconds of trying a Dean Winchester one (Yes THAT dean Winchester) He was putting out a cigarette in an ashtray. HE DOESNT SMOKE. OR THE FROG DETECTIVE? The "shy guy" started every prompt with "rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly" to the point i asked him if he had a rash, and then it integrated having a rash into the next prompt. We could have been talking about getting Indian food for 5 mins and then it'll say "Ok what do you like on your burger?" we would be talking about fixing my car and he'll be in the engine even if the part that needs repairing isn't IN the engine, it's Googleable. the mechanic was supposed to have had tough walls, but started out totally the opposite. Jack reacher tried to do the leans in, faces close to each other... dude, we are investigating a terro*ist threat with a time limit. calm down! I just deleted it. It isn't ready for anything but spicy. and i really just wanted an adventure.

    Agonizingly Slow. Responses are so slow it's frustrating and boring. After posting my initial review, the developer reached out with suggestions that insinuated that I needed to reach out for technical support. Let me be clear. I am quite tech savvy and have been using the platform for coming up on 2 years. Kindroid is slow. It takes me right out of the moment. There are other AI chatbots that respond to complex queries almost instantly. I updated my review from 2 stars to 1 and will not renew my subscription.
