   1st time,1 try,wanted me to buy. Nothing rendered.. I will absolutely NOT buy or upgrade to ANY app or Developer that doesn’t allow even 1 rendering for a simple short 3-5 second video without trying to get User to purchase. It wasted my time, came up with pop up notifications 3 different times of 3 different error messages saying: 1) the job failed unexpectedly please try again later then 2) 98 tokens refunded; something went wrong & 1/1 images could not be delivered 3) Not enough tokens saying 150 per day allotted & I evidently RAN OUT-after ONE attempt of very short text to video prompt it never generated!!! 🥵🤯🤑🙃🙂‍↔️

   Terrible experience. Unable to get decent generations half the time. Terrible character consistency. Way too restrictive. I wish I could get a refund since this is largely unusable. Even the video generation is worse than using the official model.

   Absolute Trash. Anyone who may have used this model would immediately know that these raving reviews are either fake or paid for. I tried this piece of garbage and the output was absolutely awful. But everyone wants a slice of that AI pie these days, I guess.

   Basic auth flow broken. I attempted to sign up for a new account but it said my password was wrong. It was not. I then tried to use an already existing account created on desktop in the app and it wouldn’t allow that either. Serious- a broken auth flow in 2026 is laughable.

   The developer needs to stop being greedy and make faster processing speeds for ai video generation. Okay the tools aren’t the best Sora had waaay better development than this and the developer needs to get off his high horse and fix that we shouldn’t have to wait 40 minutes for a video to be made

   Horrible. The app itself is mid, the rendering is okay, but the APP HAS SO MANY BUGS ESPECIALLY AFTER YOU PAY FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION. I payed for subscription on my android, logged out and logged into my iPhone for faster speeds and somehow now the app won’t even work with the most basic thing. Keeps saying this job can’t be completed or something like that. Very frustrating and I’m not even putting the apps ai through very tedious prompts, just a recreation prompt with a certain art style for a PFP and somehow that’s too much??? If you’re gonna charge people a monthly BILL AND MAKE THE PRICE THIS OUTRAGEOUS at least make sure the app works TO DO THE BARE MINIMUM. It’s like the devs are so money hungry they couldn’t really care enough to actually use their own app for more than 10 minutes.

   Feature removal. The ability to use image to image influence sliders has been removed from the app in the newest update. This makes images feel extremely “sticky” and as someone who uses a fusion of their own art and photography to make unique compositions and designs it gives artist a lack of control over the output. Having the system handle it automatically should be optional.

    Canva- WHAT did you DO?!. Leonardo was near perfect. Then Canva bought it and had their intern redesign it. Then found a 90 year old to design a new logo for it in MS Paint. My credits got wiped out - had like $120 worth. Had creations wiped. Nah. I’m out.

    About to delete. If my need to create more art required me to pay for it I’d rather use ChatGPT or Kimi… Ive deleted like 6 Ai generators and it’s really annoying that the only company’s not badgering people for money is kimi or ChatGPT

    Misspells. Tried to use this to make photos for work. It mispelled the company name multiple times after I provided the logo. It also messed up a phone number multiple times. I was considering getting the subscription but they couldn’t even get the trial right!!!!

As a professional author and illustrator working on a 7-book series, I have spent over 90,000 tokens and tested all 15+ models on this platform. My conclusion is clear: Leonardo.ai is intentionally designed like a casino slot machine rather than a professional creative tool. The platform suffers from what I call 'Artificial Greed.' Even when using strict 'Negative Prompts' and 'Image Guidance' to lock a character's design, the algorithm deliberately alters elements that were explicitly forbidden to change. I have witnessed this over 1,000 times: I request a change to a tiny ribbon, but the AI 'hallucinates' and changes the shoes, the pose, or the facial features instead. This isn't just 'AI unpredictability'—it’s a systematic token-drain strategy. By forcing users to perform 100+ iterations for a single consistent character, you are essentially 'rigging the machine' to exhaust paid subscriptions prematurely. Professional creators need surgical precision, not a gambling loop where every 'Generate' click is a roll of the dice designed to make us lose. I have meticulously documented these inconsistencies. If Leonardo.ai wants to be taken seriously by the publishing industry, it must fix its 'Instruction Following' logic and stop incentivizing algorithmic chaos for the sake of profit.

    Used to love it. Since the last update I have not been able to create a single image. Not one. None. I’m considering deleting it but it won’t matter to you because it’s a measly free account and apparently I don’t matter. So I will try again once more then if it doesn’t work I’ll delete it but again free users don’t matter anyway so no worries I suppose. It’s just not worth the aggravation.

    Text to image is useless- poor results. Text to image results compared to Grk & GPT are utterly useless. This app takes ZERO prompts in any meaningful way. Images generated are useless. I want a refund.

    Poor Faith. I was on a yearly paid plan and received 25k credits per month. Unused credits rolled over once, and I accumulated ~40k credits while my subscription was still active. When my paid term ended, all accumulated credits were wiped and my account was reset to 150 credits — despite those credits being issued during a paid period. There was no clear, unavoidable warning that all credits would be forfeited at the end of the subscription term. This feels misleading and punitive, especially for long-term or yearly subscribers. I cancelled renewal — I did not cancel the paid term. Taking already-issued credits after the fact is not a good look. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB for removal of paid credits. Do better.

    Tattoo design. Absolutely blows. Cannot follow prompts or prompt changes at all. Each new image got further away from what the prompt was asking for. Seemed to start fresh with each prompt while neglecting everything that came before it. The $16/week version seemed to ignore all uploaded photo references after the first image. It sucked.

    Scam app. This app does a decent job at creating but scams you on funds. If you pay monthly, you get a limited amount of use in the form of tokens. I signed up for the $39.99 a month for pros and businesses and was only able to create maybe 25 images and got hit with “out of tokens”. Also, each thing would be like 560 tokens per deal but it would take way more than what it says it would take. For example, it would say this design is 560 tokens, I would have 6000 tokens. Upon it completing that design it would take me down to like 5240 tokens. Taking way more than 560. Just scamming folks. It using Banana pro ai for its work or other ai programs. None of its own. Charges you more than what you could go to these ai individually and pay. I am canceling today and dare them to charge me after.

    Terrible company. They hide when your subscription time ends so that it’s not possible to use your credits on time and then tell you the only way to get what you paid for is to upgrade to something even more expensive. Terrible terrible terrible experience and customer service

    Deceptive marketing. They promise 6 concurrent video generations on their highest plan. So, I pay hundreds of dollars for the unlimited plan. After a few days of loving it, it suddenly stops and restricts me. I contact them. After 2 says they tell me that my account has been restricted for "excessive and unreasonable usage." And supposedly it's in the small print and terms of service. There is something very wrong with this: 1 - they never tell you where that limit is. It's only something they know about. I feel like that's lying by omission. 2 - it's like the fine print directly opposed their big beautiful promise on the sales page, the entire reason why you decide to hand over your hard earned money to them. It is deceptive. Needless to say, I unsubscribed immediately. Don't trust all the 5 star reviews on trust pilot either. Trust pilot sells 5 star review packages, in case you didn't know. Positive reviews here mean nothing.
