    Designed is Tone Deaf. ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) I downloaded Artist.ai to create avatars for a project I’m working on because the app promotes itself as a tool where you can “create anything.” Unfortunately, that promise falls apart the moment you start browsing the templates. Nearly all of the avatar templates—easily 99%—are clearly designed around white characters. If a template isn’t a white person, the next most common option is an animal avatar, which says a lot about the lack of human diversity represented. Out of the entire catalog, I found only one female avatar that appears to be slightly darker-skinned, but even that character has distinctly white facial features. It honestly looks less like meaningful representation and more like a light tan variation. This isn’t about politics or even “DEI.” It’s about basic design awareness and inclusion. When you build a product meant for global users—and especially one centered around creating avatars that represent people—it’s surprising that no one on the product, engineering, or design teams noticed how narrow the template options are. Even if you were only designing for the U.S. market, the majority of people are not white. And if you’re designing for the world, the imbalance is even more obvious. If Artist.ai wants to position itself as a creative tool where users can make anything, the starting templates should reflect the diversity of the people who might actually use the app. Until then, the experience feels limited and frankly out of touch.

    It sucked.. When I tried to create the picture I wanted, it came out very, very distorted and when I tried to fix the distortions it said I had to pay money and upgrade my membership, so basically you have to pay to get good art with this app.

    Not worth wasting your money. I figured I would try it since it’s different. I paid for some LinkedIn profile images. It has been more than three days and what should only take 5 to 15 minutes it’s still spinning. Glad I only paid 2.99 because this is a waste. Time, money and energy, do better.

    This horrible in an incredible way. I’m a fox fan and I wanted a new wallpaper but I wanted it of a marble fox but I saw that because not many people know them I didn’t found almost any so I wanted to make one with AI so I found this app and it made me a normal fox so I specified how they look like and the AI just made a weird white fox mixed with orange when the marble foxes are BLACK and white and I tried again and again and never give me not even a decent one if I could give this app 0 stars I WOULD.

    THEY STEAL MONEY. I paid for avatar generation. It never worked. Tried to get my money back, and Apple refused. Do NOT waste time or money on this app. They are thieves and the app is terrible.

    Not happy at all. I just wanted this app to take my black-and-white line drawing of a horse, color, book style, and add their own AI background to it. I wanted the Horse, my exact drawing, imposed on an AI coloring book background with some scenery. The app cannot do this without changing my image to look nothing like what my original image looks like. It’s very frustrating because I want my image used not their interpretation of my image. ChatGPT does it perfectly so I don’t understand why this app can’t as well. Maybe they just lack the technology?

    Poor app. Image generation is clunky detection of NSFW overwhelmingly sensitive for no reason. Support is simply a form instead of friendly user service. Overall mediocre app at best with a forced style of prompt and script on image generation. No room for creativity one ⭐️ would not recommend to my dog.

    Censored too much for an artist. I’m just exploring different AI apps and some are expensive and don’t allow me to do nudes like this one sadly because I like the variety. But I won’t pay to get censored. Artists do nudes all the time

    Where’s the opt for lifetime purchase?. Before I downloaded the app there were several options of purchase listed in the in app purchase section. After downloading two options only seem to be available.
