   decent graphics but basic astronomy features are locked behind a subscription. the visuals are good and all but simply moving time forwards is a paid feature?? literally the most basic thing for astronomy??

   Planetary Placements. Anyone experiencing the Sun, Moon and planets appearing to be in the previous zodiac constellation from that which societal Astrology claims? For example, based on the Astrological Calendar, the Sun is currently in Cancer. However, Stellarium shows the Sun has just recently entered Gemini. This is quite nerve wrecking for this Astrological enthusiast. I wish to know which one is correct.

    NexStar+ doesn’t work. I tried to use my CGE mount with a NexStar+ hand controller connect to a WiFi by USB. App doesn’t connect, keeps skipping the NexStar protocol, and just hangs. Emailed developers for assistance during the 7-day free trial, but no joy. If you have a Celestron setup, stear clear of this app. Also tried the desktop pc package, also does not connect. However the Celestron pc app works fine, and controls the mount.

    No notice of cost for app. I heard about this app so thought it would be interesting to download. There was nothing to indicate there would be a fee however when I clicked to get, I received a notice that I would be charged. More disturbingly, there was still no amount identified that my card would be charged. Very unethical.

    Did not support SkyWatcher mount as promised. It says that this mobile version supports SkyWatch (SynScan) telescopes, but it does not. I spent several hours on this last night (and I’m and IT expert) and it does not connect to telescope via mobile, and it says this in the documentation, that it must connect via SynScan app in the background but IOS does not permit this, in short you cannot connect from this app to your scope. All the ports suggested do not work. I tried connecting to another ios device running synscan and the same device, and directly to the ip address of the scope. None of these work says promised.

    Calibration Bug?. Every time I open the app the Apple “roll balll” calibration compass flashes briefly making the app unusable .Works fine on an android device just will not work on Apple mini ipad.

    Keeps losing the gyro and compass. My polar compass app, map apps, and sky view all can access the gyro and compass just fine but Stellarium keeps losing it and will just stop working entirely, now it won’t even work after restarting my iPhone 13 Pro.

    Trash. This app is absolute dog water. Do yourself a favor and ditch the wack a## apple product and get you an android and get skymaps. Just another reason apple products are garbage.

    I would NOT recommend. Instead of hoping that professors teach you how to use this app, maybe adding a tutorial for some of us that don't get that luxury. This app is so freaking confusing.

    Charged me more than advertised. Said it cost $9.99, but then charged me $10.35. Is that tax??? Don’t remember being charged tax before if its tax.

    Not worth it. Looked good from description but useless for anything other than an occasional look at the sky.

    Horrible and inaccurate. Mars is in the wrong place. So is the moon. So is everything. The space station just went by and it didn’t show anything.

    Awful tracking. Point up to the subject object and then move the phone. Object dies not stay oriented to fixed spot. Instead it moves slightly away from the original fixed spit as the phone is moved across the sky. Weak. Very weak. I’d like my 10 bucks back.

    App downloaded in French. Cannot figure out how to download app in English or switch to English language. Response to developer: I looked at my languages French was 2nd to English in the preferred list. English is the selected language. After I deleted French, Spanish was the 2nd language after English in the list. Now the app is displaying in Spanish. It’s like it’s missing the English localization and falling back to the next preferred, or skipping the preferred language of English altogether. Deleting the app and reinstalling to see if that helps.
