   Data remain same as previous version.. I use APOD every morning and search the topic astro object. But more and more, “Item is not found” returns. I’ve been using series versions of this app. It is clearly time to improve the base data base.

   New Selected Object Orbit Bug. There is a “white line” stuck on the screen now with the previously selected object orbit. The white line stays on the screen and won’t go away. Is this a scheme to get users to pay another $50 for an unimpressive upgrade???

   I purchased the premium SkySafari ages ago.. I have had the pro version for many years. I feel like the changes have dumb my version down. It’s unfortunate because I love this app.

   Nag nag nag. Getting a little sick and tired of being constantly nagged to “upgrade”. Why is it every time I open this app, you have an “update” that you think is worth another $35? NOTHING that you have added to this app in ANY version has been proportionate to the price. Get over yourselves.

   Revert to SkySafari 6 please. I love SkySafari 6 and use it often as my main Astronomy Atlas. So I was excited when SkySafari 7 came out. But after trying to switch to it for a year I finally gave up and continue to use SF6. The SF7 UI is awful and hard to use. For example I use it for framing shots with different Field of Views enabled but rotation has to be done separately for each FOV instead of as a global for all FOVs like SF6. Now that SF8 is out I guess I’m just going to stick with SF6 forever.

   They’ve abandoned macOS users!. I chose SkySafari some years ago in part because there was an app for my iPhone, iPad, and iMac as well. Unfortunately, when SkySafari 7 was released for iOS and iPadOS, we waited in vain for a new version of macOS. SkySafari 6 still runs on M1 and newer Macs, but because it’s not a native app, the startup time is excruciatingly slow. It’s obvious the company has no plans to release another macOS version in the future. Instead, they want us to run SkySafari 7 for iPadOS on macOS. Although it does start up quickly, it’s not the same app and the user interface experience isn’t what it should be on macOS. I’ve finally had it, and am abandoning SkySafari in favor of another app that is available for all my devices and is updated regularly.

   The Chinese translations of the celestial bodies in the software are mostly incorrect.. I don’t understand why refunds are not allowed after purchase. I clearly explained the situation to Apple twice when requesting a refund, but both times it was rejected. The Chinese translations in the software are mostly incorrect, and I can’t use it at all.

    Nice but buggy. Normally, I would absolutely rate this app 5 stars however as of recently they have not kept up with the app. Every time you click the tonight button it instantly crashes.

    No information about C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) comet. No information about C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) comet. All updates installed, tried to search by the name, scrolled the list of comets. No information about it at all.

    AR mode continues to turn on.. ios 26 and latest update iPhone 17 pro max. Just downloaded the app. Was having issues before on old phone with crashes click the start menu. Seems fixed. Too many app issues for a paid app.

    App Crashes. App crashes when you hit the tonight button. It was great before that, but this has been going on for weeks and weeks. Fix your product!

    Good APP, Bad Support. This was “supposed” to be an upgrade from SkySafari 6 but I really don’t agree. The support team has “promised” support for the SkyWire (their own device) but has NEVER com through with it. I have paid for the SS7 app but I am forced to use SS6 which in my mind is a much better version.

    Lots of options no way to use. I added the cost of pro version and see camera as an option. But no setting. Now after paying for pro I see yet another fee for premium. Whats next? Mega premium pro? Plans could have been clearly listed before wasting money on plan with buttons offering no settings.

    Constant Crashes‼️. 24 August 2025: I have been complaining about this app to the developer(s) for almost a year because the app crashes about 30 sec after launching it. I am using an iPad Pro 12.9” Gen 3 and Gen 5 with both on iPadOS 18.6.2 and both do this. Developer said months ago to turn on Airplane Mode to kill the WiFi access which works; but, doing so also disconnects my telescopes. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT FIXING THE BUG AFTER A YEAR‼️ This has been occurring ever since iPadOS 18 came out. I am no longer recommending the app to any one seeking to use it in conjunction with telescope connectivity and also refer casual users with no telescope equipment over to StarWalk and other planetarium software.

    Trickery! I want SkySafari Six Pro not Seven!. They use the same logo for SkySafari 7 pro when SkySafari Six is a much better app because you do not have to buy a yearly subscription. Trying to download the SkySafari 6 Pro which I have already paid for and own. It is now no longer available six months later. Instead you have to buy a yearly subscription to SkySafari 7 Pro.

    Telescope direction arrow code issue. I just got “filtered out” by Skysafari (an app program for operating go-to wifi telescopes) by commenting on a FB sales promotion post (for the app), by letting potential buyers know about a serious glitch they’ve been aware of and not fixed. Their app has bad code that causes an iPad’s direction keys (up, down, left, right) to “stick” so the motion you direct the scope to go to runs on, and does not stop without continually re-tapping the direction arrows causing the scope to run pasts its target. This will be the finest app ever once the code is fixed

    Does not have the explorer 12 dob. How do you have the 8 and 10 inch StarSense explorer dobsonians but not the 12 inch? Was looking forward to using the app with it but I don’t like that I’m unable to select my equipment and my device for StarSense compatibility.

    Junk. I keep getting ads for SkySafari Pro seven when I’ve already purchased it. But I had to reinstall sky safari six because SkySafari Pro seven is garbage. Save your money do not buy if you have sky safari six keep using it.

    Privacy Issue. Had to cancel my account due to privacy issues and lost my money due to not being able to change compromised email address. Do not load any data to someone’s iCloud without their permission.
