That Loading Time Though….. The app itself is a great concept but the loading times on each page is WAY too long. A full minute to save a change to a profile. I’m in my home and on my own Wi-Fi so this should not be happening. And sometimes you have to hit save twice. An update should be released to fix this

The app. The idea seems great. It is working well for the ole lady. She sent me an invite and for me it is a terrible app. I’m stuck in a vicious cycle of trying to login. I go to log in with my email and it boots me back to the login page. I go to log in with a phone number, never sends a code. I go to create an account. It says it’s already created. I’ve tried about 20 times now. I’d rather just make a paper list and buy everything myself then have to deal with the infinite login cycle of this poorly designed app.

Gift card. So the app itself is awesome but the area where someone can purchase a gift card for you has got to be the most frustrating thing ever we had a family member give us a gift card via the app with a very substantial amount of money on it but you can only use the gift card to purchase things that Babylist carry’s then you go to Babylist and everything is out of stock or it’s double the price for what you can get from somewhere else. Had planned to use the gift card to knock off some more pricy items but no such luck when you are so limited

Terrible App. Babylist is honestly one of the most frustrating platforms I’ve used. The idea is great, but the execution is terrible. Gift cards are basically useless unless you want to overpay for everything in their store, which completely defeats the purpose of having a flexible registry. The site is confusing, not user-friendly, and makes simple things like searching or reviewing items way harder than they should be. It feels like everything is designed to push you into their overpriced marketplace. I would not recommend using Babylist — there are much easier and more transparent registry options out there.

Taxes not included in prices?. What a scam in this app. Our family buys a group gift and when we go to checkout see that taxes is an additional price we have to pay to get the item shipped??? In what circumstances would taxes no be included in prices of items? Very low opinion of this app now.

Disappointed. Was good at first thought it would be very helpful but honestly stressful to use I was getting too overwhelmed trying to get the items I wanted in the correct part of the registry Why would you add baby safe stain remover to the changing table section there’s Too many bugs to be sorted out would recommend just making a amazon registry
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Seriously Disappointed. There is absolutely no evidence, once an invitee has purchased an item from a 3rd party website, of any receipt or confirmation of payment. This is a complete disaster that I have to fix for 30 people. Absolutely trash.

Scam. Says free to help parents then ask for money False information

Drowning in partner emails. Heads up: Babylist shares your email with partner brands. The opt-out for partner emails is hidden far down the page and not obvious when managing subscriptions. I would not have used this service if I’d known.

DONT USE THIS APP. Never received my cards ordered them in December having a baby shower in January and a baby in February. You would think they would help…Nope this app is a joke…Don’t waste your time

Glitchy app and sketch packaging. The app is super glitchy. Too many issues with the registry to make it worth it. Support staff doesn’t read or listen to emails and only gives generic, unhelpful responses. “Free” baby box with all the requirements and shipping didn’t feel worth the effort to me, despite several influencers trying to promote it and the positive reviews. Feels fake to me, at this point.

Do NOT use.. Do not waste your time. You can only use your gifts cards on the items that babylist has listed and promotes on their website. For example, we can only purchase the air purifier recommend in babylists shop with our gift card, not one through Amazon even though you can link your Amazon registry w your babylist. Customer service not useful. They will not even provide you with gift card number. And if you need to make a return, you have to return it to Babylist headquarters THEN they issue you another damn baby list gift card that you can only use on products listed on their shop.

Information on google. This app puts your information out on google for everyone to see if they decide to search your name. If you are keeping your pregnancy on the low, just know that this app puts your information out there. I don’t think that’s okay at all and it should give users a warning.

Broken app. It’s not working making things very frustrating. I can’t delete any items in registry and now it won’t even let me log in! Keep getting a pop up when I try to do anything with it that says something went wrong

Allowed me to shop with a fraudulent website. A friend was scammed out of $300 for purchasing something from a fraudulent company through the Babylist registry.

Horrible for Hawaii. Shipping prices are ridiculous and I didn’t notice when making the registry that my friends family had to pay often more than cost of item. Things were often out of stock and took forever to arrive. Not to mention customer service is limited and frustrating!

Purchased items are not automatically marked as purchased. I have now received multiples of items because Babylist does not mark items as purchased, even when found through the registry. Very disappointed, as I now have to figure out how to make returns without gift receipts and without upsetting gift givers. Amazon is a much better choice

HUGE SCAM FALSE ADVERTISING. Since they want to take the time to give false info and waste my time, I’ll gladly leave a negative review! They don’t give you any free products don’t sign up

Other apps are better. Doesn’t send you the gift package even if you do all the requirements. Other apps are easier to use.

Blah. one star for a company that makes me download the app to use their platform
- ★★★★★slow performance and long loading times
Disappointing Experience – Wouldn’t Recommend. I really wanted to love Babylist, but unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating and disappointing. The concept is great, combining items from different stores into one registry but the execution falls short like Poor Shipping and Fulfillment, Lack of Customer Support, and No Real-Time Inventory Updates. Items purchased through Babylist directly were either delayed or arrived in damaged packaging. In one case, a gift (hello baby gift box) never showed up at all, when you reached out to support team they blamed it on to address yet you provided the right one. Trying to resolve issues with their customer service was a nightmare. Response times were extremely slow, and when I finally got a reply, it felt like a generic copy-paste response that didn’t actually address my concern. Items listed from third-party retailers (like Target, Walmart or Amazon) weren’t always in stock, even though they appeared available on the Babylist site. It seems like they want you to buy the items directly from Babylist which they price is way too much. It caused delays and inconvenience for my guests. This service caused more stress than it saved. I ended up wishing I had gone with a traditional registry at a single retailer. The idea is promising, but Babylist seriously needs to improve its logistics, support, and user experience before I could ever recommend it.

Don’t use this app for baby registry. The items they have are pretty limited and you cannot use gift card funds to buy products from any other stores, you have to get them exclusively from Babylist. The advertisement is deceiving.
- ★★★★★login, signup and account access
Wont log in. Endless loop - log in with google, confirm and sign in, and it is back to the blank sign in page. Won’t even log in.
- ★★★★★an update broke a familiar workflow
Crashes on sign in. After the update today I can’t open the app anymore. Tried reinstalling, keeps crashing upon sign in. Ruins the experience.

Registry cards. I ordered registry cards on July 21. Never received them. They never shipped. Then I am told to reorder them on the 4th of August. Those were supposed to ship the 6th and still nothing. I am so disappointed in how I’ve been treated and how there’s been nothing done on behalf of my registry cards.

Offensive. ‘Pregnant person’ from an app providing week by week pregnancy updates and a baby registry is absolutely ridiculous. If you have a baby developing inside your uterus you are a woman doing a thing only women can do. Unscientific to claim otherwise. I’ve always liked how they compared the baby’s size to unique throwback items in the updates but I’m tired of companies who throw women under the bus and try to erase us in favor of appeasing people who deny biological reality.

Recommend looking at another app. Babylist has the worst shipping service, if a group gift get funded completely it doesn’t tell you that you have to order it yourself and it wont automatically ship out. It would be nice if they would tell you beforehand and not the customer service person making you feel dumb about it. When nowhere in there policies does it say you’ll have to order it yourself. I recommend looking at other apps for your baby registry’s. The shipping is bad and customer service is unprofessional. Please don’t let Babylist be the first app you decide on, my first mistake was not looking elsewhere.

Good luck receiving your packages. Babylist said my breast pumped arrived on the 11th and it did not. I had two separate issues with babylist packages saying that they arrived and then not showing up. I had to go through customer support while in the hospital with my newborn infant who arrived early. Customer service has been a nightmare! I already had to rent out a pump for $30 dollars because of this. Now it’s coming up on week two and I will have to rent again for another week which will be an additional $30. I have been highly inconvenienced by using babylist.

Question. That fact that you can’t just copy your Amazon link and add everything automatically is ridiculous. This is too time consuming.😡 On top of that you have to delete each individual little thing. To time consuming especially if you have 150 items!

IMPOSSIBLE TO RETURN. I liked the idea of being able to get items from multiple different stores but FYI it is IMPOSSIBLE to return items. 1. You can’t return to Amazon if they didn’t “marked as gift” even if you have the order number—- this is far beyond the concept of most boomers. 2. Most people didn’t know how Babylist worked, e.g. they have to go back there and say they bought it so I have SOOOO MANY MULTIPLE ITEMS —- that I can’t even return!!
