Terrible Tech and CS. I love the audio first focus - I like the coaches a lot. I had an active year long subscription, but couldn’t log in. Kept saying acct doesn’t exist - I tried to make a new account but couldn’t because “an active account already exists.” I emailed support and instagram and every contact form. All for nothing. Never got logged back in. So I paid for nothing There are other companies that allow you to use the subscription you pay for and I highly recommend you use one of them instead.

No updates/Bad service. App hasn’t received an update in over a year and customer service doesn’t exist.
- ★★★★★expensive hardware demands constant updates and then crashes
New update crashing. Typically no problems with this app. Have had issues with crashing since latest update. Happens when I click on beats ride then 45 min. Also unable to find contact info for tech support online or in app. Please fix!
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
Deleting. Forces you to create an account to even look at the app. Charges you for “free” 7 day trial.
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
7 day trial but need my CC. No.. No thanks. Free trial should have no strings attached. Also on the trial the instructor says “hard AF”. Hearing “A F” is cringeworthy

Crap. I don’t understand the rave reviews or the purpose of this app! You can’t see instructors, you can just hear the music and the instructors voice. There are some excellent classes on YouTube for free! The whole purpose of paying for the app is to have better choices and more variety. I cancelled it 10 min after I downloaded it. Didn’t even bother with 7 day free trial.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I don’t know how this app is so highly rated unless these are all just robot reviews. The instructors sound bored, the cuts between music are ridiculous, the workouts seem twice as long as they are supposed to be. and there are long periods of complete silence. I did one 30 minute ride where there were 3 7 minute songs consisting of trance beats ( not what was billed, just apparently “remixes” of the artists advertised. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS APP

Money, money, money. Too bad you can only pass the first screen where they ask you for personal info, just to then block you from going any further without a credit card. Don’t advertise as free

Renewed after I cancelled the trial!. I didn’t even know this was on my phone! I went through my 2018 expenses and saw it there and couldn’t figure out what it was. I had deleted it during the trial period because I found the voices annoying. IDON’T WANT THIS. HOW DO I GET RID OF IT SO I WONT BE CHARGED AGAIN??

Not free. Even though it’s says free

User beware!!!!. This app doesn’t show a AppStore price. This developer requires an in app purchase for the “trial” period. The developer has you share your personal information through Facebook prior to gating the usage for ppu.

no video!. there’s no video! audio only. boring.

Instructors are good. Customer support nonexistent. Never received a response to 4 messages I sent with issues I was having the first week other than a robo response that my question was received. Can someone just attempt to respond? Makes me think there is no customer support at all.

Good content, needs UI improvements. I was really into this app a few years ago and really loved the content, then the pandemic got me more focused on going outside. Now I’m back in and it seems harder to navigate. Why the weird non-organized image tiles and several categories for spinning based on music? I’d like to search by instructor, exercise type, and focus (hills, intervals, etc). I do still like the audio only format.

Used to be better. The new classes that have been added are poor. If you want to just sustain a pace for ten minutes at a time, 5 times in a row, then you’ll like it- if I’m going to just sustain a pace with no coaching or intervals I’m just going to turn on music and not pay for this app. Used to be better, used to love it, now I’m deleting it because the new classes are boring.

5/10. No visual, only audio. Instructor didn’t pre-teach times of intervals.. Music was toxic... better when I drink rum, shots, etc.. really???

Hard to say... Pros: -The guys are my favorite! They are upbeat, funny, and have a great music set to listen to. -I love how they have different ride times Cons: -The women instructors are either hard to hear/understand or the music is awwwwfuuuulll. I am not motivated by Hall & Oates, come on 🤦🏼♀️ -The app is hit or miss on logging me out versus keeping me logged in, and it doesn’t store my information so I have to type out my login info every time, which is annoying.

Disappointed. No video only voice. I expected more for 9.99 a month.

PLEASE MAKE A VERSION FOR APPLE WATCH. PLEASE MAKE A VERSION FOR APPLE WATCH! I love the app otherwise.

Green Screen. This app is okay if you don’t like much distraction. I like the class room feel vs just looking at a green screen. It makes the class go by a little slow because you are literally just pedaling to the same instrumental. I would rather watch YouTube for free vs paying for this app.

The Best!. All around best app for cardio! All kinds of music and fitness levels. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!
- ★★★★★sensors and heart rate monitors won't stay connected
Fantastic app and concept but too much talking by the coaches!. First, I think this app is wonderful and I love the concept, tech, and overall content. I’ve been taking in person spin/ cycle classes for 25 years and being able to do it at home anytime I want is perfect and game changing for my fitness. My one complaint - which for me, a type A introvert, is a big one - is that the cycling coaches continually talk throughout the workouts. It’s super distracting, frustrating, and interferes with me getting an optimal workout because I can’t just focus on getting into the music and using it to push my body. Yes, I can turn down (or off) the coach volume, which is a great feature, but then there’s no way for me to know when the intervals are changing, the speed which I’m supposed to be at, and if I’m in the saddle or out. Obviously, I downloaded (and paid for) this app because I want a coach to do the prep work of planning the intervals, speed, and optimum heart rate and tell me in the moment when to change them, just like the thousands of in-person classes I’ve done. I don’t need or want any of the “motivational” chatter, though I understand and respect that some people find that chatter helpful and stimulating; for me it has the opposite effect and prevents me from getting a great workout. Can you make a feature that is a written list of just the intervals, timing, pace (RPM and easy, moderate, hard resistance) and body position (seated or standing)? Or ask each of the coaches to do just a few classes where they only give that info during the workout and have all “housekeeping” at the very beginning of the workout, and somehow label these workouts so they’re easy to pick out (maybe label the ones with a lot of talk “motivational”)? That would so appreciated and I would enthusiastically rate the app 5 stars!!

The okayest cycling workout…. It’s okay. I mean it’s better than nothing. I love spin class but the pandemic ruined the availability of live classes near me. I like the workouts better than the Peleton ones at least. But they still aren’t very original or dynamic. Just very…repetitive… It’s been a couple years since I tried this app and while some things have improved, I feel the workouts are even less creative. The thing about this app that bums me out the most is that you can’t rewind or fast forward. If you get interrupted mid workout and you don’t hit pause, the workout continues without you and you can’t go back. Also, when the gym wifi cut out the other day, my workout stalled and I couldn’t get it going. When things got rolling again, the app restored the workout but set it all the way back to the beginning… It’s been super glitchy for me in general tbh. Also, I don’t at all appreciate the workout time estimates. If they say it’s a 45 minute workout, you spend 5 or more minutes listening to the trainer introduce themself and then there’s another 5 minutes of “warmup”. Then the workout ends at the 40 minute mark and the music just plays out after the trainer tells you to stretch at some point. So in reality it’s just a 30 minute workout. The time estimates should be for the actual workout. If the warmups and cool downs aren’t instructional at all, then why not just do them on your own and use the audio for the actual workout?? I dunno… I guess I will keep looking. And oh yeah, it offered me a free 7 day trial and then charged me immediately with no actual trial. Not stoked.

Acceptable if you’re desperate, but not great.. Everything works fine. But gawd it’s soooooo predictable and bland. Shamelessly cliche, homogenous. No personality, predictable music, same old, same old. Super easy to get bored. Which is exactly what you don’t want in an exercise app. Also the sound mix is iffy in spots. Gonna keep looking. Oh indoor cycling app of my dreams, I know you’re out there... this isn’t it.

No Video Streaming. I was super excited to start using this app today & while the coach & music itself were motivating, I couldn’t get over the fact that there’s no video streaming. For me, this is a huge part of keeping motivated. Seeing my peers working just as hard or harder to give me the motivation to keep on pushing. I will finish my trial but may need to move back to the Peleton app.

Quality classes with some app problems. I love having the ability to turn up the music and turn down the instructor’s voice. The spin classes are great. I wish they listed each song on the playlist so I can decide if I want to take the class. I tried starting the class to hear the songs and then decide but when I hit end, the class disappeared from the list. I was so disappointed because I wanted to take the class and now it is gone. I wish we had the power to choose and retake a class that we like.

It’s OK. No video is an adjustment for me. Narration is pretty good - nice tones of encouragement, but I prefer a bit more guidance. When I’m working hard sometimes I miss a cue or I don’t know how long is left on my sprint. If you miss a cue you’re kind of on your own with no video as there aren’t many reminders by the instructor. The only indication of time is the tiny song counter at the bottom of the screen - very tough to see when you’re moving around and cycling hard. Not bad overall, but not great. I will probably not subscribe.

It’s just fine. The classes are fine. The acoustics are not great. Often the instructors voices are so muted and hard to hear despite increasing the volume as much as possible (and decreasing the music). With no visual on the creek other than the music, the classes are a bit boring too for wandering eyes.

Log in issue/stop talking so much. I use this app almost daily and have to log in EVERY day!!! Very annoying....I have emailed and complained a few times over the past couple months and am always told they are “working on it”. I also really like the work outs but I guess I prefer that the instructors don’t talk the entire time!!! I don’t need to know what I’m going to be doing 10 min into the workout. Just tell me when we are going to do it and how long I’ll be there. I prefer to enjoy the music more than the instructors chatter. Yes, I know I can turn down the volume of the instructor and turn up the music separately, but then I am constantly playing on my phone during my workout. Just make it simple, cue and quiet until the next change. Other than that, it’s a good app.

Great app but the music?. I love this cycle app great instructors but there just too much lame gangster rap (gun references even). I realize those are probably less expensive but not what I want to hear when I’m sweating. Sorry CycleCast I’d love to give you a 5 star review.
