   Just a mess. Like others I wanted an app that helped me in my journey with God. Unfortunately this app is money hungry! They make it so difficult to cancel! Still cannot figure it out and I am pretty tech-savvy. Please just make it to where we can cancel in the app regardless of what platform we set up on. Who has ever heard of such a thing!

   Really?. So as long as you have a credit card and not a prepaid card, that is used to pay bills every month and food on the table for my children being a single mom with disability that don’t allow me to work anymore yet still fighting the state of Florida for disability (hardest state in the country even with dr explaining why I can’t work anymore and they still deny it), and because of that according to your app I don’t deserve to be able to use the app. Sounds super Godly to me

   App run by Trump acolytes. I cancelled my subscription the minute I found out it was ran by unkind people that do not truly follow or love Jesus. That support the ICE inhuman raids and concentration camps where innocent girls get abuse daily and pregnant against their will. So NO thank you you are NOT Jesus followers nor good Catholics .

   Pay to Pray. Honestly, I really like the purpose of this app, to get yourself closer to God, but I feel like this app does the opposite. I believe that any app should be universally free, and not be locked besides having to pay money at all. God’s word and prayers shouldn’t be locked up beside paywalls. This is the same reason why Christ flipped the tables. It’s just, I don’t see why a poor family has to pay a lot of money to be able to pray. It seems unreasonable, stupid, snd unchristlike. 1/5.

   Scam. Well as a Christian woman, I downloaded this app to get closer to God as that’s what it’s for. In one month of having said app, they took $120 from me. Keep in mind, I bought a $12 trial and that’s it. Monthly trial. Read the print and everything, was only supposed to take $12 a MONTH. How come I got $120 taken in LESS THAN A MONTH? Not to even mention that when I contacted them multiple times, they told me that they’d look into it and refund me, but never did…. $120 gone over this scam.

   SCAM!. I have canceled the app multiple times and they somehow keep trying to charge me. The app is ridiculously expensive too. Very scammy. Modern day PHARISEES. Terrible experience with this app

   Charges. I have canceled this account over two years ago and they keep charging me.. I have to stop payments on my card and with Apple but the app keeps charging! And I don’t even have the app downloaded!! All they want is your money!!!

    Ummm. The content is actually decent and honestly it’s probably worth $75 bucks a year but I some how signed up for tríal offer, absolutely forgot about it because it didn’t go through my Apple ID for some reason. Well over a week ago they tried to charge me and it bounced I didn’t even realize it happened, I was too busy busting my back trying to get my account out of the negative. Now at 12:01 am they push the charge through over a week later???? I know it’s not criminal by any means yet with my somewhat limited usage, I honestly thought I was on the free version and surprised by how much content was available but after Pentecost my usage dropped quite a bit and I just can’t do $75 up front I hardly do that with anything. I could do 5-8 dollars a month but no I can’t do that. Not criminal yet I have questions. Oh and: APP DELETED!

    Like the all but business side is shady. Beware of company. Despite canceling trial within the dates they charged me anyway: Their response to an email: “While you did submit your request within the timeframe, our records show that a refund had already been issued to you in the past.” So basically they charged me anyway even though I cancelled within terms because they arbitrarily decided it was right. I love their app but they definitely do not practice what they preach

    Predatory Renewal Policies. Updated review: They will not allow for refund within 24-48 hours of the charge for a year based service. They also try to discourage you from pursuing a credit card chargeback, capturing any and all revenue regardless of someone wanting the paid service is their strategy. Original review: Missed canceling the trial within a couple days requested a refund and they will not honor cancellation for a yearly service a couple days after. At $74 this seems kind of extreme even in their support documentation they try to get customers to not follow through on a charge back with their credit card company. This must be a common occurrence and their pricing model and business model seems to rely on accidental renewals which is immoral and contrary to the content of this app. This has vibes of private equity all over a religious app.

    Won’t respond to refund request. I downloaded this app and participated in a trial. I deleted the app only a couple of days into the app. It wasn’t right for me. They charged me a full year subscription even after deleting the app all within the window.

    Crooks!. Joined a 7 day trail. Automatically deleted the app. Cancelled the subscription through my iPhone subscriptions. They are trying to take out money for this? I didn’t even use this app for more than two minutes! It wasn’t what I thought it was. They make it extremely challenging to delete. What a joke.

    Not Christian. I looked at this app. Decided against it. It’s expensive. The subscription doesn’t show up under Apple. So, they charged me $70-$80 and won’t give it back. Poor form and NOT Christian!

    You have to pay for this app. Don’t get your hopes up for this app . I was looking forward to this app to help me be consistent with my praying and hopefully have some guidance but after finding out you have to pay which some of us don’t have the luxury off it’s very disappointing .

    No customer service. I really hate leaving this review because I wanted to love Hallow. I signed up for the free trial. A week before the trial ended. I canceled and got a notification back that said it was canceled but I was charged $69.99 for the annual subscription. I have called three times and left messages and I have sent three emails but not been able to speak or hear from a live person yet. It’s all AI generated. Needless to say no refund. I’m very disappointed.

    Funded by Politicians. Loved this app, used it daily, until I learned it was funded by ONE particular political party that fuels hatred in the USA. Prayed on it and just can’t bring myself to support it when it could be used to spread an agenda. 💔

    Pay to Pray. Dear Celebrities who promote this app: You are asking people to pay $$$ for the privilege to pray with you via the internet. Meditate on that awhile and see if you don’t hear your Catholic mother asking, “Have you no shame?”So many ways to find this type content for free. But at least don’t advertise it like this. Reply to developer response: Okay, so you pay millionaires on your “team” to promote your product. True Christians would be donating their time to spread the Word.

    SCAM ALERT. This app charged me for a annual fee and when I disputed it and said I did not authorize the charge I was not able to access my app to check status of the refund nor have I revived a refund. What a shame you guys are using religion to scam people.

I am shocked as a missionary Christian that this is a paid app. I understand as a capitalist that people need to earn an income but to only offer a brief free trial to this is not the way. Many Christian’s will support this to give it free to the people who are needing of the gospel.

    Disappointed vetting system to lead to scandal. I will never use this app again after using unvetted people like Neeza Powers. He is not a strong catholic who has walked in the catholic faith for years but a content creator. He hurt many people spiritually and emotionally and had no accountability. Very disappointed. Not happy to find out atheist, Peter Thiel is a supporter or donor to this app. Will not use anymore.
