   Wrong Day. Love the spiritual content. But I have had consistent problems with this app the past six months working properly. Now when I open it, it goes directly to the next day devotional. Not current day. Have notified the developer, but no response.

   App review. Unfortunately, I am using this app as a blind person. I have other blind friends who use it and I don't think they use the app they use the website. Maybe I should start that. The app is very unfriendly. I have a very hard time getting to the proper day even though each day I get my notifications. If I don't get it right during the notification, I cannot find the right day. The app is not very friendly at all for a blind person. You might want to look at the app and try to revamp it. I'm using VoiceOver on an iPhone just for your information.

   Bible won’t open. They upgraded the app and now I can’t open the Bible.

   Daily devotions. The AI readings are unsettling. Why did it go to AI reading. I looked forward to hearing a real person reading these devotions everyday. I’d rather read it myself now. This rates a 👎🏻.

   Old Eyes. Thank you for your daily devotionals. Unfortunately, the text is becoming difficult for me to read, especially with the new pictures. It might be easier to read, if there were more contrast between the font and background, especially in the devotional. Or it would be helpful if larger text were available. Otherwise I may have to discontinue my daily devotional reading, even though it blesses me every morning. Thank you.

   Horrible App. This is one of the worse apps I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. From a very glitchy performance to absolutely no customer support makes this app one to avoid like the plague.

   Problematic. I have this app on an iPad and an Apple phone. Sometimes it works. More often it just does not load the devotional at all. Also I think, if it worked, I would like to see the “Digging Deeper” questions like on the web site. It still loads some days and other days it doesn’t. Frustrating. The content is great!

   App does not work. The app use to work but it does not load anymore. So unfortunately it is useless now. Very frustrating to hen one has got use to using the app and after so call upgrades it does not work. Now to find something else.

   Bad app. I cannot get Today in the Word on my IPad! I used to be able to & apparently it has been changed! Now I cannot get it on my IPad or Phone!

    Material from print edition of TITW not included. App has no link to/deleted several pages of the most valuable material in each month’s section. A pity.

    Unreliable. When it works it is great but it says “trouble retrieving today’s devotion” so often I stopped using it. Unreliable.

    Before update 4 stars, now 1. Since after the update the advertisement at the end of every message has went from maybe around 15 seconds to 30 to 45 seconds now. I feel like the app and has gone more into advertisement now and it is actually cutting into devotional time. I will be finding a new devotional app because of this unless y’all fix it. Less advertisement more of the word! Isn’t that the whole point?

    App Review. I live on the west coast. The app stops functioning as early as 7pm and doesn’t start up until after 10pm pst. I’ve reached out to the support team but received no resolution for the issue. It appears to be some sort of app maintenance being performed each day.

    Print color/ Format. The online print is too light. Why can't the format on the app be like the booklet? I've been doing the Today in the Word Bible Studies daily for 3 years. The booklet is by far easier to read. Thank you. MJ Curry

    AI is choppy and irritating. Some words are are mispronounced and pronounced correctly in same devotion. Job the patriarch was pronounced vastly different in same lesson and that was an easy one. Today’s actually worked well. 11/5/2025

    Audio feature. The Bible is a living word but the AI type voices used to read the verses and lessons are so stiff and soulless that it truly ruins the experience. The content of the lessons are very rich but I just can’t listen to it. Which is a shame as I often find that with my schedule that getting to read the lessons myself can be challenging but putting the audio on in the car or listening while waiting for appointments etc would be great. Please use real people. If it is a cost cutting need look for volunteers. I know I’d volunteer. Just please stop using the automated voices.

    Too light. I have been enjoying this app for many years. I am going to have to use the paper version now. I am struggling to be able to read the gray on white lettering. How can I order the paper version?

    Today in the Word. Thank you for making Today in the Word available! I am a Moody alumn and so appreciate the daily insights. There is one issue w the app that needs to be resolved. When I want to listen to it, I have to keep my finger on the page instead of being able to set it down on my nightstand. This seems to be an issue w the app itself as other devotional apps (such as Our Daily Bread or Lectio 365) do not have this problem.

    Great devotions. I absolutely love the devotional part of this app as well as the ability to write notes of reflection. The only one thing I feel is lacking is not being able to highlight or leave notes in the Bible. Between this app and the Bible app it makes a perfect combination.

    Problem with AI reading message. I had a male voice read the devotional today, February 3, 2026 and there was a small problem with a couple of words and it’s very unemotional and you can almost ignore it as they’re reading. It would be better for real person Reddit. Otherwise it’s very good.

    Changed from paper to digital.. I really like the TW Devotional app. I used to study from the TW paper form, but the fonts used began to look smaller and I found it hard to read. The app is very convenient and has good tools. It does have a couple of cons that I would like to see improved. One thing to fix is The bible verse that is on the picture image is hard to read. The color contrast between the letters against the picture/image makes it hard to see and read. Also, it would be nice to read the bible in dark mode. It’s interesting that when you click on the verse link to read it shows as a nice eye soothing darkened color, but when you want to read the whole chapter in the bible part of app it only shows with the white background. I hope these two things can be updated in next app update. Thank you.

    Don’t fix what’s not broken.. I have been reading Today In The Word for more than 20 years. This app is good in so many ways, but the updates that were recently done are not enjoyable at all. There is just one other thing I’d like to see changed as of now. I’d like to be able to copy parts of it to use for messages I create to send to my family. I have to leave the app, go to Moody’s online site and then copy sections to use. I surely hope this can be done, as it’s my favorite devotional of all time and would save me much time on my phone, when I don’t receive my devotional in the mail. Thank you so much, Lorraine Grasso
