   Subscription Fail. I wanted to love this app, especially after deleting YouVersion. But I repeatedly receive “Unable to get subscription details,” when I try to obtain a subscription or go into manage subscriptions. And, of course, even going to tech website, there’s no way to actually reach out to/email a person for assistance. Where the actual Customer Service Department? All links are dead. *disappointing*

   Life bible app. I had Tekarta app and I had used the notes and when I went to review it all disappeared and I wax referred to the Life Bible app. I was told to use my old account to login and everything would merge but it keeps rejecting and I’m not even able to download on my desktop. I all my notes from past 2-3 years have disappeared. I’m very disappointed with this process. Doesn’t work and not user friendly.

   Hopeless interface. Not sure what you were thinking by enforcing the change to the interface. It is illogical and over complex. Maybe I need to switch to something else.

   Woke. At the height of riots in Minneapolis, a verse they interpreted about God loving foreigners turned political. They used words like aliens and migrants into the verse which was out of context.

   Old version was far better. I feel like a hostage to this app. I have years of notes and highlights in here carried over from the old version, and loved the daily verse and no nonsense home page. Now, the home page is riddled with irrelevant junk content ads, you can’t customize it to remove the noise -even with a paid subscription. Also the daily verse is now all about the photo paired with it -which causes it to get lost in the noise of ads. By the way, if you subscribe to remove ads, you will still see them because they consider it content, not ads. Unreal, I have anxiety every time I use this app to get to my notes. The bible part is still excellent though, only reason I still use it. Support was also not helpful in sorting these grievances out. I will give 5 stars back once they fix this.

    Cross Reference Error. NKJV cross reference for Bible verse Colossians 3:14 on word “put” is incorrectly displaying 1 Corinthians 1:13. This should be 1 Corinthians 13:1. NIV has it correct. Tecarta has no way for a user to report an app malfunction.

    Bible app with ads for customers who bought content. Just saw an ad with a cartoon character on the toilet! No way to exit. Eventually takes you to a link to download that can be exited. Used this app through multiple name changes. Multiple versions and study bibles purchased. Now you’ve insulted your customers with vulgar, inappropriate ads!

    What is up. Why all a sudden there is on the bottom of the screen when I open the app is there different language I don’t know what language French or something anyway it makes things confusing because it’s not in English like it used to be

    Login w google problems. On my MacBook, it can never login with Google. It tells me that terra-cotta sent invalid request.

    Not a fan.. Deleted and reloaded the app thinking there was a glitch. Lost all my purchases. The only reason I am not deleting permanently is the searches I do infrequently.

    Remove the AI Search. I want to be able to do a full text search on my machine without filtering it through an AI and I want to be able to search on my local machine without even when I have no internet connection.

    Why is there an “Ask AI” feature?. I don’t like this new feature called Ask AI…as believers in Jesus Christ we don’t need to ask artificial intelligence anything!! Our Almighty God has all of the intelligence we need. He gave us His Holy Spirit, if we ask Him and be patient, in due time He will give us the wisdom we need. I would appreciate it if this feature was removed.

    Not right. I loved this app and spent over $50 buying bible versions in the app. But now I feel like I invested that money in their app under false pretenses. My $50 investment was not enough apparently, and I am now getting pop up ads. If I want the ads to go away I have to pay an additional monthly or yearly fee on top of the $50 I have already given them! You can’t have it both ways. Purchasing a paid version of a study bible should make it ad free. Or paying a subscription should give you access to all the paid study bibles. But making us pay for upgraded study bibles plus another monthly fee for no ads is just greed. It’s not right. I will no longer use this app, and I am very disappointed I invested $50 in their app under false pretenses.

    Added distractions to a Bible?. What wicked, money seeking company would place advertisement in a Bible app? Why would you place a stumbling block before someone who opens your stupid app to read the Bible, only to get advertisement to a game to play? Even more interesting, I don’t have the free version, I paid for this and still get advertisement.

    The NIV Study Bible does not show up and I can’t use split screen with study Bible notes as before. NIV Study Bible does not work on my iPad with duel translations and the study notes synced on the screen. So I just use the old NIV Study Bible app icon that still works for now.

    Full of ads. I don’t wanna see ads when I’m just trying to read the Bible. You can figure out a different way to earn money for this other than shove ads down our throat.

    Why?. I truly dislike what you have done with the life application Bible app, over Ten years I have used this app, it was wonderful, it sure would have been nice if you would have asked some one, “how can we improve our app?” Do you have any suggestions? Now I have to find another Bible app that comes close to this one…thank a lot!

    Why!. This version of the Tecarta Tyndale Study Bible is a very poor replacement. This app doesn’t work well with Biblical Studies. What are you thinking?

    App tracks and links user data. There is no reason for a bible app to track and link user data. Other bible apps work fine without that. They are doing this out of greed or there is evil underpinnings that they may not see due to ignorance. Either way, creepy app. Needs to be deleted. Don’t care that I paid for it. It’s gone.

    Sorry, Tecarta!. You get only 1 star because that’s the only way your app allows me to say this new version is a completely worthless to me. I am 82 years old, had vision problems since I was in at least 3rd grade. I continue to train Bible study leaders in my own congregation and beyond, as needed. Zondervan seems to have a limitless number of NIV study Bibles, but none for seniors like me who not only struggle to function with changes in their own kitchens but also who depend on their Bibles to continue to follow the Great Commission of Matthew. Please make your “old” app available to this not so young servant of the same master.
