   Paid for the Word of God, got broken features and zero response!. I recently upgraded to a new phone and the app completely wiped out my history. The "restore purchase" button is totally broken. Not only am I being forced to look at intrusive ads again, but I also completely lost access to the 5 Bible versions I previously paid for. I have sent multiple emails to their support team to get this fixed, but I have received absolutely none zero response. This should not be when it comes to the word of God. They take your money, ignore your emails, and leave you with a broken app. Save your money and download a reliable alternative!!!

   Searching. I am a premium subscriber why don’t I see premium benefits I can only read 1 bible type ? This one shouldn’t be. I like reading from AMP because it’s more relatable to my life and NIV changes the wording I hate to speak this way about a decent bible plan but why make it hard It’s the word of God

   Inappropriate Ad. One of the ads that frequently shows up while using the app tells me that my device has been compromised because of my viewing adult content. I think this type of ad is highly inappropriate, given this is a Bible app! Also, someone who doesn’t read the whole thing might be tempted to click the link thinking their device is compromised. I don’t mind seeing ads on my free apps, but let’s make them appropriate please. Using a scare tactic like that on a Christian app is unsettling and makes me wonder who or what kind of company they are allowing to help fund them.

   Terrible Support / Price Plan Unclear. I have the 3.99 version. I say this because I have One Bible version available to me and when I try to switch it all other options are grayed out. Email requesting clarification and Help has gone unanswered for over 30 days. Today I tried to call and their system simply hung up on me. $3.99 for a single Bible version seems like a very poor value to me. Ignoring customers is inexcusable.

   No App Support. I’ve used app for years and purchased offline use of 5 Bible versions. Used to be a great app with timely tech support. With most recent upgrade, I lost ability to swipe left or right when reading on my IPad. My only option to change books (or chapters) is the cumbersome dropdown box. Multiple inquiries for app support have gone unanswered. Buyer beware before you make any purchases.

   Update stole purchases. I NEVER update apps for a reason, but my phone was having functional issues, so I had to. I had paid $25 for this app years ago because I wanted the NIV84, and this app had the full offline version. The update took away my NIV84, is filled with ads, and is now a poorer version of the standard bible app that most people use.

   Money sucker. I spent who knows how much money on this app over the years, and now all my content is lost and irretrievable. They keep promising to fix the issue, but nothing changes. Money down the drain. Don’t trust them.

   App is not working. Went to check my daily bible verse both last night and this morning- none of the daily features are working. Decided to just pick a book to read from- but they are not loading either. It takes me to a screen that says “Old Testament” or “New Testament” but when you click on it, it goes to a blank screen. It’s not my service or WiFi.

    What Is Wrong with You People??. This morning I opened your app as I have for years now, and the literally thousands of notations I have made are gone! I rely on these notes for sermon preparation. You are incredibly thoughtless regarding your customers. I have relied on you for the safe keeping and guaranteed access to these notes. Even my notes from yesterday have disappeared.

    Malfunctioning App. Im glad it’s not just me or any of my devices. I’ve spent weeks wondering why this app wasn’t working properly for me & thanks to other’s reviews, I realize it’s the app. It’s really a shame, I loved this app & paid for no ads & for a couple translations. I hope they can get it together.

    Update break, then fix, then break app. Again the app is back to being in a newly broken state. I’ve Purchased 3 offline translations and the premium (no adds) feature, and now after this last update, although my “account” recognizes that I’ve purchased these thing (viewed from within the app I might add) none of them will activate or are usable. This simply would be the best bible app, as it is simple when it works, but unfortunately, they can’t seem to keep it consistently working for all iPhone generations over their updates. I guess it serves me right for trying to rely on my phone’s Bible instead of a printed copy.

    Terrible App. App no longer fill in sq after marking all chapters read. They used to have a zone app that was Orange, which worked great! But it disappeared a few yrs ago.😟😩😠

    Inappropriate ads. My great grandma added this app on her phone & their were inappropriate pictures of girls in the ads for the app! this is ridiculous!

    Hot garbage update. The more these “developers” “develop”, the more they screw up the app… now on the October 2024 update I have to push on “Done” to switch between books and verses! It adds one more unnecessary step that wasn’t needed before, when I chose the verse, it navigated automatically. Why can’t you just work on only iOS compatibility and leave the input interfaces alone!? I’ve got too many years invested on the OneBible app, but you keep ruining my readings every time you update it. Lastly, I see you finally removed the Auto-lock disable button in the settings that never seemed to work. That’s one development could not seem to get to work so throw in the towel! Thumbs up… not. The May 2022 Update v. 4 is a huge step backwards. On their push for subscribers and accounts, I lost all my bookmarks, highlights, and books completed. The header font is too small and hard to read. Switching between books doesn’t allow alphabetical searches any more. The icing on the cake may be opening the app in church and getting an ad with audio…

    Always making you pay. I paid for ad free simple Bible verse look up, now it's full of all bloatware and unnecessary features. Plus, I have to pay for a premium service? Never would have paid to get the ad free version had I known. Delete.

    Don’t fix what isn’t broken. I loved this Bible app and used it all day long. I had years of investment of underlining and highlighting needed verses. But two days ago they ruined it. They made the pages black, the highlights can’t be seen without struggling. You can’t access between old and New Testament without paging down and it’s just ruined my joy of experiencing the Bible at my fingertips anytime I need it. I love my physical Bible too and bring it everywhere, but this was such a blessing to cross reference having the ability to look up one scripture and look up another in my paper Bible at the same time. Now this morning the Bible app cycles back to choosing which book you want to read and when you press the chapter it freezes and sends you back to what book you want to read. How unfortunate they “fixed” something that wasn’t broken.

    Update messed up a great app. I used to use this app every day. But then I updated my iPhone and apparently the OneBible app got updated as well. The updated version is horrible. The features in the older version I used every day are no longer available. Had to go to another Bible app. Too bad. I used to really like this app.

    Verses are wrong. About two years ago an update just really messed up the verses in the NASB version. Missing words, sentence fragments that make no sense. I have written many times concerning this, and some updates have corrected some of the problems, but they still exist. If you are relying on this app for a Bible study with the NASB, you will be totally misled and confused. You had better have a hard copy backup!

    Needed audio for night listening. This sucked. It took my fees for ad removal but NEVER showed I’d paid It took my fees for subscription as the audio kept cutting off mid sentence and STILL didn’t show I’d subscribed until DOUBLE PAYMENT MADE. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING Canceling this app

    LATEST UPDATE WIPED MY PROGRESS. I would recommend that anyone using this app to keep track of what they’ve read in the Bible not download the latest app update. I’ve been using this app for years and love it for its ease. Now it looks like I have used it for the first time with no progress whatsoever, very upsetting. Time to find a new more reliable one.

    Constant Push For Money. 1. App support sends you straight to purchase pages. 2. Sadly the Ad free version bought the farm with this upgrade. 3. All my notes are gone. 4. Privacy policy isn't well explained. Are you going to sell my email address & banking info if I did make a purchase?

    Ads??????. I just opened my (paid) app to research a scripture and it’s completely full of ads. I can’t even find the scripture. What’s up with that? I’ve paid for my NIV version twice now (because the first download disappeared) and now suddenly I see tennis shoes and clothing.
