   Very basic and inaccurate. If it was completely free I could live with its basic feature (not plural) and inaccuracy

   Can't Identify Freshwater Aquarium Fish. I got this app to help me identify some fish in my aquarium. Unfortunately, this app thinks every fish I have are either guppies or neon tetras. WRONG! Completely useless. And I shouldn't have to email a photo to the devs for identification when I have this app! Skip this one if you want it for a similar purpose.

   Scam. Don’t bother downloading this app, is it good at identifying fish YES but soon as you cancel your subscription and delete the app they’ll continue to charge your card not just once but multiple times ! I want All the money back this app took from me, this app scams and i will Not remove my comment until they either refund me or STOP trying to charge my card thirty dollars !

   Misidentification of Fish 99%. This app is worthless, and misidentified many, many edible fish as poisonous or from other parts of the world. Data base is flawed.

   Inconsistent ID of Pacific fish. It can ID yellowfin croaker correctly, but IDs spotfin croaker, caught in Southern California, as a “red drum” found in Atlantic waters. Useless for me.

   This is Not a free app!. You get 7 days trial and only if you provide a payment source for day 8 and beyond. Don’t believe any other terms you may hear off.

    Mason’s angry review. I hate this app. It got every single one of my fish incorrect fix it next time. It didn’t even get a standard Koi right it told me it was a goldfish or a Betta fish. This is dumb. I’m never gonna go back to this

    Everything is a bluegill. This app thought for sure that the kids soccer field was bluegill. or possibly a frog. That pretty much covers it.

    Identification. This app is not very good when I took a picture of one of my fish in my tank it said it was some kind of saltwater fish. All my tanks are freshwater.

    Fresh water issues?. I tried taking pictures of several African cichlids and each one was misidentified. It also calls a pleco a sucker mouth catfish regardless of the L number. Tried taking a picture of my synodintis petricola and it tried saying they were pictus catfish 😅 This app is awful figured I’d try seeing if it’d work with fish I 100% already know before trialing on pet store adventures glad I did. It also tried calling my Taiwan Reef cichlid a ram cichlid (7” fish btw 🤣) be the biggest recorded ram cichlid ever.

    Beware. The free offer is not free. They give you 7 “free” days with an option to cancel. In that you are in the “free” period, your subscription is not available/visible to cancel. You have to cancel 24 hours before the cancel takes effect and there will be no credit for that additional charge. If you run into this, the best you can do is to check the $.99/ for a month box to avoid having to pay for an annual charge if $29.95. Crooks!

    10 minutes with great photos. And it couldn’t identify a freaking goldfish. Google photo works, this doesn’t. #kavemanaquatics is 99% right but he was wrong on this!

    Not accurate. Maybe I’m not taking clear pictures. Every picture I have taken of my aquarium fish has been inaccurate descriptions and images of fish. I was shown I have a common tree frog… I have a pleco and a black moor goldfish. My water in my tank is crystal clear. My images are not blurry but somehow I get octopus or sea horse, one picture even said I had a scorpion fish. Glad I only wasted a dollar for the trial. Will be cancelling the subscription.

    Awful. The app tells me my fry is a large mouth bass. This is a tropical fish tank and I’m trying to identify what type of fry I have. Every time I try to identify a fish it gives me the wrong type of fish.

    Not even close. This app is terrible at identifying fish. It was not even remotely close to identifying fish I have in my aquarium. For example, a Blue Acara looks nothing like a Platy.

    Got charged for a year. AND completely off on identifying my tropical fish. I don’t know why I got charged for a year. I don’t believe I would’ve authorized that before I actually tested out the app. The beyond that it doesn’t work. I have a couple of very distinctive tropical fish. Red-tailed shark first identified as an angelfish and then identified as a beta fish. It didn’t get any of my 8 fish correct. All my pictures had just the fish in question. No other fish in the picture to confuse the app.

    ID is inaccurate. The app doesn’t seem to know the difference between a White Sucker and a Utah Sucker. The app also couldn’t Identify the difference between a splake and a Brook trout.

    No love.. I’ve taken high quality, well lit pictures of 20+ known aquarium fish, and it hasn’t gotten a single one correct. It said my Oscar was a goldfish!

    App Takes Control of your picture. So the app actually works to identify fish. The problem is that in order to share the picture, the other party has to download the app. If you take the picture of a fish in the app that is where it will stay. There should be a download option other than Dropbox. Why can’t you just download to your phone. For that reason 1 star.

    Don’t bother downloading it. It requires an outrageous subscription and you can’t use it without setting it up. I’ve seen enough apps with this sort of paywall to know you’ll never be able to cancel it.

    Disappointment. I was stoked about this app but then tried it on all my fish and all of them were wrong.. Sad .. Hope they get that fixed cuz i would love this app
