   It keeps reversing the cards. I am trying to learn a foreign language and need to learn the foreign language words. First time thru the deck is fine. After that it gives me the foreign word first. This doesn’t help me at all.

   Terrible. Created hours of review material using the desktop version only to lose everything. I am starting over and wish I had spent a bit more time researching my options. Very disappointed with the time I invested in this app and program.

   Horrible. App keeps freezing. It doesnt ask you to create an account when starting. So when I started the app, I created a deck and then created an account and lost the entire deck.

   Deletion of work. I made a big list of study terms and the app glitched and deleted them all. I had only been using the app for about 2 hours. Not impressed at all.

   Eats through storage and keeps crashing. After spending an hour creating flashcards, I started getting error messages saying to restart the app because it couldn’t save any more changes. Then I realized my iPhone storage was suddenly full—somehow, this app was taking up 1.25 GIGABYTES of storage. This makes absolutely no sense. The content I used to create my cards couldn’t have amounted to more than 30 megabytes at MOST. I still really wanted to use the app, so I deleted some other stuff from my phone, redownloaded this app (it kept crashing so I had to delete it), and tried again. The same thing happened, even though I had freed up more storage space. I’m at a loss for words. Every flashcard app I can find either costs an arm and a leg or is hopelessly dysfunctional. Why is it so hard to find a basic app at a reasonable price that actually works??

   Good for Headaches and Failing Classes. APP DOES NOT PROPERLY SAVE DATA After building out flashcards, images will be missing, text is incomplete and missing half of the cards. It takes 2x longer to type out cards because app drains absurd amounts of battery and is super slow. Used for about 1 hour, impossible to create good cards and my phone went from 52% to 16% just using that one app. Restarted phone, closed all apps and still the same responsiveness. Get this maddness off the app store. You’re tasked with building of the most simple applications on earth, how is it filled with this many defects and how did you manage to have it consume more battery than facetime?

    Do not buy! Will delete all your cards. I just spent 4 hours writing notecards and when I returned to the app, all the folders showed they had my cards, all the cards were erased except the 1st one. Very poor product! Shame

    Wasted my time. Worked well the first time I tried it. Spent an hour entering information only to find out that the next time I opened the app it forgot all but the first card that I entered.

    Keeps deleting stuff. The ratings on here are very misleading. The app is incredibly unpredictable, and out of nowhere will just delete a bunch of your flash cards.

    Waste of time. Deleted my flashcards I spent hours making… twice, at first I thought it was a glitch so I spent the time to type them all out again just for them to do the same thing. So annoyed and wish I stuck to the paper flashcards.

    Most frustrating app. Nothing in this app sticks. I change the name of the folder, it defaults back to “Untitled Folder”. I move my deck to a different folder that has the correct name, it automatically goes back into the previous folder. I FINALLY got my deck to move to the new folder, but wait, I looked in the old folder and it was there. I deleted it thinking it had transferred because it told me it did. When I looked in the correct folder it was gone. Because of this app I had wasted hours of work

    Support is slow don’t pay. Crazy that they found the time to make this app no longer free while leaving every terrible bug unfixed. If you want your flashcards to take 3x as long to make… get randomly deleted without you knowing… and you want the app to crash 10x times before you complete a 200 card deck… this is the app for you. Absolutely horrible I wish there were negative stars.

    So unreliable. I’m so disappointed cause I had seen so many positive reviews, but this app is really unreliable Firstly I’ve had instances where I’ll spend hours making a deck and then when I reopen the app the entire deck is gone, or only a few flashcards are there. When I tell you I LITERALLY CRIED. Because that deck probably had like 90 and took me like 4 hours, all for it to be gone. And it was something I was dreading to do so I was so happy when I finally got it done. Imagine the pain I felt knowing I have to do it again. Secondly it’s really hard to sync between your laptop and phone. If you’re like me then typing the flashcards from your laptop is easier and quicker but having the flashcards on your phone is convenient because you can test yourself wherever you are. so I logged into my account on my laptop, made some flashcards and then when I logged in on my phone they weren’t there Once again I felt like CRYINGGGG All in all don’t get this app if you’re looking for something consistent and reliable

    Don’t waste your time. This app is not clear on which side of the card your text will go on, I had to stop and remake my cards so many times, I never actually got to study and got a D- on my test. WORST APP EVER.

    Buggy/lags. I had to redo my cards 4 different times because of some mispress of buttons. Then I would finish and I could only see 2out of 59 cards. The others would be blank. Not sure if that’s the lag part but very frustrating. I give up.

    Synch and Imports don’t work.. I wanted to use this to synch with my computer but the app won’t synch to updated documents, and it won’t even let me import through my computer. Oh well. It’s free. Only cost an hour of fumbling.

    Holy crap it’s bad. Literally not functional. You can’t even use it because it’s so buggy and your flash cards won’t come up. It’s a shame because if it worked the way it was supposed to it would be a good app.

    Buggy. Creating an account is silently rejected (iOS and web). Importing data via spreadsheet silently disappears (iOS).

    Unusable. I tested this out with text only and worked fine. But they state in description you can use images, which is what I need. That’s when it started to freeze or show me incoherent coding instead of pics I uploaded. Deleting this useless app.

    Horrible experience... At first things were ok. Then I wanted to use this app with the web version because it was easier to enter data for my cards. Couldn’t remember passcode so tried to reset it. No option for recovery. Tried to get support but no reply to repeated requests for weeks. Created a new account on the web and manually transferred data to new account with a passcode I wouldn’t forget. Logged out of first account and in with second account. It created a hybrid of both accounts but wouldn’t let me edit anything from the new account. Deleted the app in hopes a new install would fix the hybrid status and found that the data was wiped out for both local and web. Done with this app. Has many great features but no real support.

    Don’t get this👎🏼. I was trying to make flashcards for my anatomy class. I saved it and when I get back on the app to go over them more than half of them were gone and ones that were still there had half the words cut off. Until they fix this do not get it. Biggest waste of time.

    Do not recommend. Where do I start? I tried this app out for like 20 minutes and it worked for a few, but then it refused to save any flash decks I tried to make. then when i tried using already made ones, I would click on one deck and it took me to a completely different one, and/or the deck had the same content as the last one I clicked, and/or it saved to the wrong folder, and/or the decks were blank. When i tried to actually play a deck, regardless of whether I made it or not, the deck only had one blank card. please fix these issues.

    Very frustrating. I downloaded this app for school because they allow you to add photos to your flashcards. However the app never works. It will crash halfway through creating a study set... meaning all my work will be lost. By the time I do get a set finalized, the app will not open study sets and constantly crashes. As of right now when I open the app, it will load for 10+ min (not allowing me to access my study sets) Or will load then crash. Very frustrating when trying to study for tests. Not productive. Do not recommend.

    Surgical Technology Student. I started using Flashcards.io because quizlet charges to upload pictures and make your own flashcards. This app is nice in that sense it is free, but there are so many glitches. Either my pictures don’t save or the name of the instrument I put down. I have to re-enter most of the information 3-4 times and can only add a couple of flash cards at a time or some of the information won’t save. It’s frustrating and time consuming. But once they are made it works fine. It also shuts me out the app on its own sometimes. I probably won’t use it after this last set of instruments I have to study and will probably just pay for quizlet.

    Terrible!. I thought this was great! I created foreign language flashcards.io, and could edit them, and the decks, as I went along. Then, when I went back, the edits I saved weren’t there. Then, suddenly, nothing was there! My cards returned. Then they disappeared again. What is the point of spending hours and hour building decks, only to have them not there when you need them!? Hours I’ll never get back .

    Worse than useless. Deletes your work with no warning. I’ve written to the developer with no results. I don’t know what to say to describe how frustrating this program is I have created many decks and they have all disappeared. I thought I had a workaround but that fails now too. An app that is hard to use but that can be used might get two or even three stars but an app that deletes your work does not even deserve one star.Why is this on the App Store at all?
