   Bring back timer mode.. Took it away for no reason. Much more complicated now to set any sort of timed brick session.

   Unbrick button doesn’t work. Recently my unbrick button has stopped working. I click it and it doesn’t come up with the option to tap the brick to unbrick. I have been having to do an emergency unbrick…. Not sure what to do when I’m out of those. Also there has been no help online and nothing on their support pages about this issue. Using iPhone 16 pro

   Great app. They removed one of my favorite features which was the ability to set a timed session from the Home Screen. Instead of having to “schedule” it.

   Bad recent updates. Brick drastically reduced the value of the app to me recently by removing some of their scheduling functionality. I no longer think this app is very useful.

   They remove key features with little warning. The timer feature was removed so they could “work on other features”. Not sure what that means but I used the timer feature and now it’s gone for no good reason.

   Significantly worse app without Timer. I was traveling and didn’t bring my actual brick with me because I figured I could use the timer feature… wrong. Schedule glitches like crazy and I tried using it like timer and it never turned off? Forced me to use an emergency unbrick

   Timer??. It has not been adequately explained as to why they got rid of the timer feature. Vague platitudes about it “getting in the way of future features” — what future features could possibly be more useful than a *timer*? It’s completely ridiculous and makes the brick *significantly* less useful than it used to be. In 3-4 months when they apologize and bring back the feature, maybe the star rating will go up, but I do not trust this team’s priorities or its values at this point.

    So buggy. The schedule feature does not work well. It sometimes keeps your apps bricked when the schedule is done and there’s no way to unbrick them. Not sure how they fail at that. Also, app is unusable without signal or WiFi which is hilarious

    Great idea, poor execution. The idea of the app is great: you can schedule your phone to brick during certain hours, and it can only be unbricked with a physical device. In practice, scheduling on the app is buggy as hell. Some times it doesn’t lock on schedule, sometimes it doesn’t unlock. Sometimes it locks but still allows apps to open. If you unlock it and then relock, it won’t unlock on schedule — only locks are guaranteed to happen on time.

    Timed sessions!. I loved this app and it did help me get things done. I would set when the lock out time would be removed and go about my day. They timed sessions have been removed and replaced with “create a schedule”. What? I don’t want to create 2 dozens schedules. Doubt this company will bring this feature back since they know more than the customers. Save your money and buy another form brand. Disappointed.

    Removed Timed Brick. Extremely disappointed that they’ve chosen to remove the Timed Brick feature. Schedules are too rigid and a clunky workaround suggestion for those of us that heavily relied on timed brick. Why do I need to now set and manage schedules when previously I could just set a brick session for 2 hours. They’re being vague about how this feature got in the way of future enhancements. You can see from the reviews that users heavily relied on this feature. I can’t imagine what new features make this impossible to retain?? The worst part is I didn’t even update my app but they’re removed the feature on the backend it seems.

    Took away useful functions. I was beginning to use it more and they took away one of the best added functions which is the timer. Schedule function is much worse and inconvenient. They gave no concrete explanation as to why they took this tool away from us. It sucks !!!! Still no concrete explanation.. There are cheaper Brick alternatives with more features. Confused why they made their device much less useful.

    Constantly logs out. Wanted to love this, but every time I go to the app, I’ve been logged out, meaning I have to get an email verification code to get back in. Total pain in the rear. App is updated, too

    Removed timer with recent update. Timed Brick was the primary reason I used Brick. I have an irregular schedule and cannot rely on recurring schedules. The ability to brick for a fixed duration and automatically unbrick was substantially more useful than scheduled blocks. The schedule workaround adds friction and doesn’t solve the same problem. Please consider restoring Timed Brick or adding a one-tap “Brick for X minutes” session.

    Loved until it changed. I loved the feature to set an amount of time to brick my phone. I work very early and kept forgetting to unbrick when going to work. I know that’s on me but the time setting feature helped bridge this gap and I could manually decide when to brick and know it would unbrick before I needed my work apps. Maybe I’ll adjust to using the schedule but my schedule isn’t that regimented or the same everyday which is why I liked this feature.

    Schedule doesn’t work. Love this in theory, but I’m finding myself “bricked” at all sorts of unexpected times. I’ve got exactly two scheduled brick sessions, but hours after they should have ended I’m still locked out of app I need access to.

    Changed terms after sale. Purchased when it did not require an account to be used. They now force you to make an account and you are locked out unless you do. Make it optional and it would be 5 stars.

    Doesn’t block anything. You can just go into your phone settings and turn off the apps ability to manage your screen time settings. Gives you full access to everything. Unless there’s a way to set it up so you can’t do this, Brick is a waste of money for me. Maybe it’s ridiculous to not have enough self control to just not mess with that setting, but I mean the whole point of this product is that if you want access to certain apps, you literally have to get up, walk to another room, and turn it off. If I no longer have to get up out of my seat, and can instead just flip a switch in the settings, then this product loses all its value. If there is a way to fix this please let me know. And if there isn’t then please add one. This app would be a game changer for me if not for that one setting.

    Dont get it if you want to get bricked forever!. The scheduled brick setting does not work! I was traveling and I didn't realize I had the focus mode on. It didn't unbrick. I am out of emergency bricks!

    Useless. I was so excited for this, but the app is totally useless. Its entire functionality is just an illusion that can easily be bypassed. Just restart your phone and your phone is magically unbricked without using an “emergency unlock.” I get it, they did the best that they could do with what apple allows, but don’t be fooled into thinking this actually provides the security they claim.

    Crashes when trying to set apps. The lower categories of apps cant be selected without crashing the screen. They are familiar with this bug and there work around is delete brick, delete your screen activity history and then reinstall brick with screen activity off. But you will have to do this each time you want to add a new app to a block or whitelist. Its been there for 2 months as of march 2026.

    Removed best feature. You removed the feature where we can brick the device from anywhere. That was easily the best feature in the app making it easy to brick but hard to unbrick. please bring this back

    Haven’t even used it yet… already frustrated (the app sucks). The app is so buggy. As I attempt to select apps and websites I hope to block with Brick, a pretty integral function of the app, the interface keeps freezing. I have to keep leaving the app and opening it again. I’ve been at it for 20 minutes and have only been able to select 5 apps to block. So much for spending less time on my phone… I guess it could be my phone, but I have a relatively recent IPhone model.

    All 5 star reviews must be fake. Malfunctioning app! Waste of time!. This app is such a pain in the neck. I've wasted at least a couple of hours troubleshooting it. Please note that basic functions do not work properly. To add apps you want to block, you don't want to scroll through a list of hundreds of apps. Guess what? The search doesn't work, so when I want to block, e.g., Safari, when I start typing the word Safari, the app gets grayed out/freezes. Additionally, even if you set a mode that allows, e.g., only certain apps, it will not respect your choice, as many more apps will still be unlocked. Tech support is only via email, so their solutions are to set up a Shortcut or delete the app. Neither “solution” solved the issues. I'm so fed up with how severely this app malfunctions. I don't believe all those 5-star reviews, because then why is the app functioning so poorly for me? Hours into troubleshooting this app, I'm so tired 😩 and frustrated because it still is buggy and doesn't do what it's supposed to be doing despite me uninstalling it and installing the app again (oh, and wasting another hour setting the modes from scratch)
