   Can’t Create Account. I tried creating an account and it emailed me a confirmation code, but when I tried to type it in it just keeps saying the code is incorrect or timed out. I’ve tried restarting the app and resending the codes 3 different times and typed them in in less than a minute and double checked I had typed them in correctly but got the same error message every single time.

   Ugh…. Used this app for years, but it had been recently causing me problems, such as kicking me out of the app while trying to set up a session, removing plants that I have already earned and the most frustrating one being apps that I allow are still blocked. I also think Flora need to make it more user friendly, and removing unnecessary tabs, such as the feed. Lastly, I am trying to delete the app and it won’t let me!!

   WEIRD DEALBREAKER. I loved this app for many years now. However, I recently tried to refer a few friends to this app under the premise that we would all be able to connect and compete with one another. However, after downloading the app, we realized there is no way for IOS and Android to connect to one another. Why? This was very frustrating for us and we were very disappointed with Flora’s lack of foresight of iOS and Android users having a strong desire to connect with one another. In 2025 iOS and Android being separate from one another is keeping Flora outdated and uncompetitive. Would love to see improvements from an app I found so helpful.

   hate the new update. beautiful game before, exploring the world and learning about plants along the way. it was immersive and fun! now you need to unlock levels and the graphics are all in ai. there is no traveling now too. please bring back the old version

   So sad and disappointed by AI art. I used this app a lot in high school to help me study. I revisited it today while trying to study for the GRE, and was immensely disappointed in the use of AI art. I loved the app when I was simple, had minimal features, and actually created its own art & graphics. Will find a different app.

   AI art. App works great, I liked collecting coins and getting new plants. But I don’t understand how you can advocate for making trees AND THEN use A.I. I really did use this app often for weeks, but once I noticed the A.I art it was immediate uninstall. I’ll just try pomodoro and putting my phone somewhere hard to reach. It is counter-intuitive to plant trees for the environment and also support systems that hurt it.

   Okay. I used to use this app a lot in highschool, decided to try it again in college. It is a good app for its purpose, however there are 2 issues I had. I disliked how I had to display my first and last name, you can use your last initial, but I'd prefer a username instead. An app that is supposed to keep me off my phone doesn't need to display my full name. Another issue is I noticed in the "breathe" function when you set a timer, the art that is displayed is AI. The reason this bothers me is the fact that the app claims to plant trees after so many minutes off your phone. Generative AI art activly harms the planet. This app seems very hypocritical to me. Please pay an artist to create art for you.

    The app is ruined. I never leave reviews, but what they did to Flora is actually sad. It was a true and beautiful Pomodoro app method, and now on top of buying gardens to access flowers (which I was fine with), you have to “pay” with coins generated by the time you spent focused? Gamifying an app that was meant to keep distractions away is seriously a waste. Loved the Flora App, this is so sad.

    Never let you cancel subscription. I got this back in 2021. I only used it during that year in school. Then I cancelled it. I deleted my subscription and deleted the app. I have been charged for a CANCELLED subscription since 2021. I cannot cancel it and get my money back. I’ve spent hours with Apple and the help desk. Nothing. It’s not in my list of subscriptions and just keeps auto charging me!!!! Do not download and subscribe unless you just want to bleed money annually without your consent!

    You have to leave the screen on. I thought this would be really cute really great especially because you can actually plant real trees by focusing. However, it requires you to keep your phone open all the time, draining the battery. My whole point is to not be paying attention to the phone, not poking it every couple seconds to make sure I don’t kill a tree…

    So LAGGY and it's annoying!!. I've had multiple instances where my focus time and bits just disappear! And when i do get the bits and buy something, my bits just disappear into thin air and i do not get the flower plant or fruit at all!!! And no matter how many times i've refreshed, my friends list wont show up and nor will their feed when i visit their profile. What also is annoying is that now it won't even let me log in no matter how many times i try!

    Great idea but flawed settings. I love the idea of this app, as it allows you to “grow” trees in app when you take breaks from scrolling online. The settings are frustrating and flawed though. The app has a setting to select certain apps to whitelist, so that you can use them during Focus times. These settings are essentially useless, as no amount of changing them actually lets the app allow any whitelisted apps. I use Insight Timer for meditation daily and set this app to allow Insight Timer to run during Focus times, so I can do my meditations. Every box is checked as it should be, and the app even explicitly lists my allowed apps on screen, but when I go to the app itself, it is completely greyed out and blocked. I’ve tried this repeatedly with no success. In addition to this app blocking “allowed” apps, it also allows apps that shouldn’t be - my text messages, Amazon, and numerous other apps are still available to be used and not blocked at all. It doesn’t make any sense to me and defeats the purpose of the app for me. I sadly won’t be able to use it unless these bugs get fixed.

    A great idea ruined by bugs. The idea of this app is a good one, but the fact that it is so plagued by bugs made me uninstall. It shouldn’t be anything more than a simple study aid that occasionally plants a tree, but needless complexity causing frustrating bugs forced me to uninstall it.

    Possible ai use?. I love this app but on the button that says place your finger to relax I can’t help but think that the screen that shows up is made with ai. I hope it’s just that ai has become prevalent and I’m mistaking a real artist’s work with ai but I can’t help but notice how odd objects on the screen move and how the rocks will change pattern randomly. For being an app that is helping the environment the fact that ai has been used in at least some part of the app’s creation isn’t worth supporting.

    Unable to explore new plants. If you don’t stay latched and focused you kill a tree or grow the wrong tree. Stay studied up and cool! Edit: after the most recent update, I purchased one of the additional packs and have not been able to move past the first plant, regardless of the amount of time I study. I am bummed because unlocking plants was a fav feature of mine, and I liked to see the time milestones needed to unlock them. I do not know what the case is any longer

    Scam! Isn’t Blocking Apps/Charged me Incorrectly!. This app now doesn’t even block the apps even though I’ve allowed it access to my screen time. It used to block apps before. It also has a feature where you pay money if you access an app you restricted. I didn’t access any restricted apps, yet it still charged me money!! A scam.

    “Green Focus”😣I don’t know how to feel…. Honestly, I never really used this much except a couple times years ago… but recently I’ve been studying more and wanted to use this app again to help me focus. I click in to start a focus session and the first thing I see are AI generated images which really doesn’t make it relaxing/focused for me ngl😵‍💫… it’s so jarring they support planting trees and but also use AI image generation knowing the environmental consequences it has??? I know most people won’t feel the same but it’s so weird having those images move while the app tells me to chill out and take a deep breath…😭😭😭

    Great app, Super Buggy. The concept of this app is awesome, but stuff like adding money for focus or adding apps to be allowed during focus are INCREDIBLY buggy. Would hope to see it fixed soon

    Wanted to love it. I used to love this app until so many bugs appeared. Every time you finish a focus and when you go to start another one, it’ll say you killed the tree. Also Apple Pay doesn’t work with the app anymore, so unfortunately, I’ll have to look for an alternative.

    It’s ok now, Use to be better. I downloaded this app a couple years ago and the ui was just so much prettier. It feels like they changed things with ai and made it worse. The world tours actually showed a map (which was like my favorite part) and I think they shortened the world tour too??? I’ve unlocked more than they now go to? It feels like they are changing this to a pay to play type model because the simpler one wasn’t making enough money. 🙄

    Good idea, bad design. I don’t like how there isn’t feature to continue growing a plant. Once you finish your focus session, that plant stays the same forever I also don’t like how there is no visual representation of the size of your plant. It’s just one image used to represent different sizes. I would also like to see a visual animation of the plant growing as I get deeper into my session. I like the idea of your plant dying if you leave the app but if I have 100 different trees; why would I care about the death of ONE tree? I would like to see some kind of personalization about the trees as individuals; something that makes them different from the rest. The structure and interface of the app itself just feel really outdated and old. Almost like I’m using an app that the developers no longer care about Overall, I really like the idea I just feel it isn’t as immersive as I had hoped it would be. This is a pretty cool app, but realistically it will last a few weeks before I get bored of it.
