DO NOT MAKE A PURCHASE. I purchased from this company in 2022. I wasn’t thrilled with the product so never re-purchased. And have never re engaged with the company. Fast forward to January 2025 and they charged my credit card $50. I have tried to reach the company to find out what the charge is for. There is no customer service on their website or the app. I finally had to go through my credit card company and cancel my card. Next step the BBB.

Just use AI. This app was solid prior to whatever “fixes” where made. Now it won’t save workouts, can’t move to a new day of workouts, and the colors hide certain options. I found that AI creates a similar plan and I just use Apple notes to track the workouts and then upload it to AI for a new plan. I’m done with habit nest. And I was paying $4.99 a month!!!!!!

Immediately No. I didn’t even get through the account creation process without noticing that the app wasn’t actually filing in my responses. Instead in auto-selected [health and fitness] and [life getting in the way] no matter what I chose. I’m not going to give any more information to a paid app that stumbles at first hurdle. Big red flag

Stopped working after 3 days. Really wanted to love the preset workout habit but after completing the third workout the app wouldn’t accept the information and doesn’t allow you to move on with the habit. So after just 3 days it became useless.

Nothing. I add a habit. Press start & then nothing. ☹️

Wanted to love this app. I had the original gym workout book and loved it. Thought it more convenient to get app and I was excited for it. Something told me to just try a month subscription first. I’m glad I did instead of buying year. At day 3 it’s stopped allowing me to track. Telling me I needed to complete which I did several times. I went in a different way to do day 4 and then would only let me read info and preview. It wouldn’t take any tracking. I reached out twice to support on this because I really want to use app and have yet to hear anything. I ended up taking app off to redownload to see if that helps. Problem is can’t remember password and had to reset. Waiting on 2 hours for reset of password with no response. Very disappointed with this experience.

Love that app. Love that app but since update app version mess up my stats and not able to log anything. I kept sent them message. No respond. They kept said update which I did clicked it but no change. New version mess up. While I can able log first workout but not part 2. Like for example chest day which I can log but there is no log for biceps part?

New Update Fails. I can not see my previous weights lifted and reps completed on exercises.

New release is awful!. There is nothing intuitive about the navigation. Ugh!

Arbitrary workout timers ruin app functionality. This app asks you to commit to a habit each day. In my case I wanted to use it for working out. I missed a step of completing my first workout. The next day I couldn’t open the second workout and realized I needed to complete the last step of the first one. Then I couldn’t workout because a 23 hour timer popped up locking me out of the second workout. I can’t even prepare for the workout by looking at the exercises, I’m completely locked out. You also can’t skip workouts. It’s not good when a book is actually better than the app. This system seems arbitrary and capricious. Lastly, I travel a lot and don’t have access to the same equipment all the time. The workouts seem to follow the same muscle groups. It would be best if I could them them, but I’m locked out of this too for an arbitrary reason.

Not working - The Dumbbell Home Workout. When I try to begin my workout and need to enter the amount of repetitions, nothing happens. I try to click in the box and it just freezes. The app doesn’t want to allow me to track it. I reached out to support and they have not fixed this. I’m canceling my subscription because why would I continue to pay for something that doesn’t work. I can provide screenshots of all of the above.

Nothing says professionalism like a Mongoloid doing yoga.. Seriously, I’m not sure if this app is supposed to be serious or not. It looks and functions like some sort of elaborate joke.

Disappointed. I downloaded the app thinking the gratitude journey would be great going into the new year. It takes you through a long walk through but asks “just give us 5 minutes for 5 days!”, so I’m excited. Then the pop ups come for monthly and annual subscription options for access to ALL habits. I don’t want all, just gratitude. I completed day one, enjoying it. Day 2, no dice. It forces you to pay for all to continue the one you’ve selected. I really can’t stand the apps that make it appear like an option is available when you really have to pay for the whole app! It’s just deceitful. And cost wasn’t the issue, I pay a ton for MasterClass annually because I think it’s valuable AND I knew I would have to pay up front to access the content. I wasn’t tricked into starting it and then being forced to pay to continue. I’ll just stick to my book.

Requires phone number and email to complete sign up. Habit trackers should not require phone number to use the app.

Phone Number?!. Why does a habit tracking app require a phone number verification? So intrusive and clearly they sell it or pester you with texts. Forget it.

Phoenix does not include the App. Great books but to use the App you have to buy an extra subscription, even if you bought the Phoenix version.

It could be good. It is an outline of what a good app would do. The app encourages you to do “supersets” but it makes it difficult to flip between muscle groups and when you do it messes up the end tally’s unless you go back and restart the workout. The superset counter also doesn’t have 0 as an option. The difficulty slider for the workout is just broken, it does not slide well and should be replaced with something else. The weights aren’t auto-entered from the last workout so it is tedious to go back and check. Use the printout instead. The videos in the workouts are very helpful and probably the best part of this app.

Too many bugs!. I want to love this. The workout stats do not propagate properly. The “previous best reps” rarely shows but I know I’ve performed the exercise before. Also, the reps do not transfer to the summary page. I have been able to complete all workouts (so far) and have not had issues with the app crashing, but it does not look promising. This is unfortunate as I loved using the home journal (even though I found errors in that too).

Was great until it stopped working after 3 days. Can’t enter information anymore, the app just crashes

Not connected to the Phoenix system they sell. I recently bought one of the work out journals including the whole Phoenix system which they advertise as lifelong access to the work outs. I figured that I would also get the app not realizing I have to pay to use the app even though I just paid to get lifetime access to the workouts online. They are not connected- which is super odd to me and also an extra money grab in my opinion.

App formatting. When responding to some of the thought provoking questions, it doesn’t allow you to see what you are typing.

WAS great but now… worthless. Three times I’ve entered my workout for the day, but it keeps getting deleted and since the app won’t let you move to the next workout it keeps giving me the SAME workout that I’ve already done! Also thank you to the person who said that now the data on your past workout is gone that’s a major problem! I hadn’t noticed it because I’m having so many other issues with the app after the update. However, to be fair, they did fix the music issue, which is why I gave it two stars instead of one. So to be clear, the issues are as follows: 1. Won’t hold data for workout. 2. No longer keeps track of previous weight/reps performed. For progress THAT’S a necessity!! 3. Stop with the babysitting of users if I want to bypass a day or god forbid the data disappears from the previous workout, I NEED to bypass a day, let me! If they don’t fix the other issues mentioned above it’s worthless & I want my money back. Too bad, it was great before they “updated” it to improve it. As the old saying goes, “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!”

Where’s my data!?. Like the new update, but you got rid of my data. When doing a workout, before the update it showed my last personal best on each rep. It’s not there anymore! This allowed my to track my last weighted rep and I can increase from there. I can’t even look at past workouts to see the weight. Love the app, but this is a critical important feature that you got rid of. WHY!?!?!?!?! Fix it!

I am afraid I’ve made a mistake. I purchased the Habit Nest dumbbell workout book and when I saw this app, I thought this is great. Build a workout habit digitally. Disappointed! I wanted to see more about the yoga and stretching as I wanted an exercise commitment. However, there’s no video or information on yoga except a few bullet points. I tried to watch the video on nutrition and it takes me to an error page. I completely close the app re-opened five different times, and the error still exist. Lastly, I went back to the App Store to find the latest bug fix and found it was recent yet almost all the reviews are a year ago. I went back to the main site and clicked on the blog but the last entry was November of last year. I will spend another couple of days looking at this but it feels like it’s not worth keeping after the trial is over.

Get rid of the locks if someone purchases the year. Giving 3 stars until the locks are removed from the weight lifting part since I purchased the year. Hard to align the days of the week with the work out if you want to start on a Thursday instead of a Monday. Should have to scrub through a he locked ones to get to the others. The journals aren’t that way so why make this app with locks? Doesn’t make sense.

FANTASTIC & helpful. Only three star’s becausei don’t appreciate being a few days in before i find out it’s NOT free if you want to progress past day three. It’s definitely worth the expensive price if you can afford it, but i definitely cannot.
