   One of the scummiest app intros ever. Dear god, I have never had an app that bugged me so much to subscribe as soon as I start it. Not only that, the "no thanks, I don't want to subscribe" buttons take a minute to fade in and are then incredibly faint, like those bad mobile game ads. There's even one screen where they make the X button blend in with the dog behind it so it's even harder to see! Really scummy, and then after saying no to a trial 5 times, it bothers you with incredibly long animations and five more screens just to say "Hey, I can help get your life together." Other apps do this but don't have nearly as many screens or long animations for it. And when you finally get past those obnoxious screens, you realize task customization is really limited, like not being able to control how often a task repeats. I can only assume the target audience for this focus app is boomers and children.

   Immediately charged despite “free trial.” Refund denied. Possible scam.. I want to like this app, but the financial aspect is far too scammy. Within three hours of installing this app, I was charged the full $59.99 subscription price despite the App Store listing a seven‑day free trial with a reminder before the trial ends. I gave the app a second chance to see if I wanted to continue using it. On day five (yesterday), I decided it wasn’t a good fit for me and requested a refund from Apple, since I was well within the trial period. Apple denied the request with the message “This purchase is not eligible for a review,” which I’m currently appealing. Based on Reddit threads and App Store reviews, this exact issue has been reported by users for over a year. I’m now on day six of the trial and still have not received a refund. If the issue isn’t resolved, I will have no choice but to report the app for potential ongoing fraud, since users have reported losing hundreds of dollars to this unresolved issue. Final review pending resolution of this ongoing issue.

   Feel Scammed. As someone with ADHD i decided to give this app a try and got the free trial. It only took a few minutes before i realized this app was not for me. I canceled my subscription and was still charged for a full year and after trying everything i possibly could I was never able to get refunded.

    Stop Subs. I am so sick of every single app needing a subscription. You people are GREEDY. It has to stop somewhere and for me I’m not paying another subscription for a single app again ever, especially one replicated by a todo list. Charge me $1, heck even $10 once forever and I’d love to try it. You’re a solo developer and need income? Make another app! Maybe something with a service, not just paywalling core features that don’t require ongoing support. Why do we have to keep paying for everything forever???

    Does not help with your goals or focus.. This app makes no sense. It’s like Mario. It has nothing to do with helping you reach your goals or focus. I didn’t even see any pom timer. I don’t want to play games like this. Deleted quickly it made sure subscription was canceled, though it had been more than 30 minutes spent in this.

    Disappointing. Thought this app was pretty cool., It seemed like something that would help my ADHD brain not only stay on task, but remember to do things in general. And I was doing pretty well! But then it erased my progress. I was well on my way to total level 100 with most of my skills That nearly 20. And then, for no reason at all, I got reverted back to total level 41, lost a lot of my coins, and some of my items. So I am officially done with this app.

    Scam - beware. Offered me a “one week free trial”. When I accepted it charged me $60 for a full year. When I went to refute charges with Apple the app wouldn’t refund my money. Slimey practices. Oh also the app isn’t even great so don’t bother trying. It’s lazy and unoriginal

    Requires subscription. “Free” 7 day trial, to even start using the app you have to accept to subscribe for their $70!!! Dollar subscription. Of course you can cancel it but this is their most expensive option and you cannot opt out or use the app before accepting it.

    Can’t get Refunded. Literally an hour after midnight of the free trial ending and I can’t get a refund. 70$ for a useless app. That’s 5 hours of labor gone. For an app advertised to people suffering with ADHD, they sure know how to punish them for it too.

    Makes you pay now. I was really enjoying this app up until recently when they updated it, saying you have to pay a subscription to do anything. You can’t go on adventures. You can’t add pets. All you get is a timer. Very disappointed.

    DEVS PLEASE READ. Great potential, but DO NOT BUY. Has a lot of bugs.. DEVS, PLEASE CHANGE OR FIX THE LOW POWER MODE PROGRESS ERASER. I have only had this for one day, but I got it the moment I saw what it was. I love how beautiful the game is and it has everything I could need in a habit breaker or builder app. But the fact that I lost my entire day of progress because I turned on low power mode for 3 seconds AFTER finishing a focus session while I was in the Home Screen really killed my joy about this game. Not only this but whenever I assigned a certain focus and then left the screen (while it was on the “use other apps” option), it would change it to the first one in my list regardless of what I had selected previously. So not only did I lose a ton of time I had tracked and focused on, but the time that it actually did track didn’t do it in the right place so now I have tons of time placed in a goal that I didn’t actually do today, and I can’t even go in and change it??? The fact that this app is $70 a year and has this many problems is a huge red flag to me. There is a lot of polishing that needs to happen before I ever buy this app.

    No. Wants you to agree to pay before you can even see what the app looks like. Does that annoying thing where you have to “hold to commit” which basically makes it unusable for people with pathological demand avoidance.

    Charged for a full year despite deleting account. UPDATE: I emailed the developer for a refund but never received a response or a refund! STAY AWAY! I tried this app, and it was fine but I could already tell it wouldn’t work for me a few days in. For one, the combat was tricky with a touchscreen and outside of combat the RPG elements were just ok (I bet with some time, these will improve!) but the focus elements were also not different from other free apps. However my main gripe is that after a few days I deleted my account on the app, thinking that would trigger cancelling my subscription. NOPE. Still got charged $75, immediately asked apple for a refund TWICE and was denied, and now I can’t even log back into the app to use it- it just immediately asks me to start a free trial again. No way am I getting charged twice. Garbage.
