False Advertising. Like others have mentioned this is said to be $14.99 after the free trial but I was charged $30 before my free trial was up. This app is a scam.

Over-hyped waste of time. Despite all the hype in reviews, HelloHabit is inferior to most reminder apps, including Apple Reminders. Setting up individual tasks is cumbersome and marking them ‘done’ is problematic, especially on the iPhone (it’s somewhat better on iPad). The new watch app is useless. It’s impossible to add a Habit complication to the watch face (at least the ones I use) and notifications don’t work. So far as I can see HelloHabit has no reason to exist. Reminders, Things, etc, all do a much better job.

Can't even run the app. Decided to give this app another chance but it's still stuck at initializing.

Stop worsening the UI. Oh my god I don’t usually write reviews but the consistent and routine updates that makes the UI worse and worse has been done! Don’t fix what’s not broken! Each update has made the UI uglier and more unintuitive. You users get accustomed to a UI then you go ahead and change the way data is entered now they have to get accustomed to something else. Literarily no intelligent designing process. Update after update I’m being pushed a little more to uninstall this app.

Scam?. Is this app a scam? I went to try out the “week free trial” of which it said, after the free trial it’ll cost $14.99 for the yearly membership. When I went to hit confirm and pay it, I got a screen that said “payment method declined, please type in your password” , then immediately I got a fraud text from my bank saying that “$31.01” was declined, which the $14.99 does not match up with the $31.01….

Terrible UI. The app is impossible to use because of terrible UI. Nothing is intuitive. You have to spend a lot of time to understand what you should do to set tasks. Besides, the launch code doesn’t work either!

can’t write as much as i’d like. i like this app but whenever i try to write “notes” to track progress they always get jumbled up. my second sentence somehow gets pieced into my first and then none of it makes sense. once i get a couple of lines in it just completely stops allowing me to type coherently and start new sentences. since notes on progress is really what i have the app for, it really bothers me.

Good. I feel the app is great but sometimes customer service give is not very caring

Missing one simple thing and important one. The app is overall good i like how the steps and energy are synced throw the apple health app but why dont do the same thing with weight ... i lile that you can track weight and most app dont have that but it a bit frustrating when i need to put my weight manually while it can be synced from the apple health app ... like the steps and other things , if that get added i will add the 5 starts for this app

Has potential but glitch is frustrating. I use this app to track habits as well as journal. Love the habit aspect, the free version does cap at 5 habits but i’m fine with that. What has been frustrating is, in the note section when I’m typing something the letters will glitch and suddenly there’s always a letter by my cursor and the letter will not leave. I’ve tried deleting what i’m writing as well as closing and reopening the app and it’s still there.

Good concept, but realistically you need to pay. The app is easy to use and well designed, and I like being able to see visually my progress over time. However you can only set FIVE habits/goals before you need to get a premium subscription. It is usable with the free version but I personally had a lot more goals I wanted to add.

Loved til the recent UI update. I really loved this app and faithfully used it until the most recent user interface update, which made the whole thing so unnecessarily cluttered. I actually may delete it and just find something else, which is a shame because this was perfect as it was when I first downloaded it! It was simple and effective, and now it's messy. Can't click on a different day without the habits reordering themselves.

A ton of potential!. This app has a lot of potential and I will keep using it but it has to major flaws when it comes to habit tracking. 1 - you can’t track using decimals. So if you walk 0.5 miles you’re forced to either not track it or round up. Both bad options. Same would go for tracking drinks, water intake etc. 2 - you can’t archive habits. So if you have a short term goal you’re working on, once it’s completed you either have to delete it or just have it cluttering the screen. Another major con for me. Otherwise it has a lot of good features and is worth the $20 for the year but I will continue searching for something that has a little more flexibility in tracking individual habits.

Seems great. Maybe it could be free to use but put certain things behind a pay for it wall instead of a monthly price or maybe a one time price?
- ★★★★★free plan cap and subscription billing
It’s ok. I like the idea but I don’t why can’t I can only have five things to put on my planner and if I want anything else, I have to pay for itI think that’s lame

Really Helpful!. Had all the features I was looking for in a habit tracker, and the separate journal tab is great when I want to get more granular with habit details and notes. A minor aesthetic hang-up, when opening the app, the app logo on the loading screen is slightly off center... doesn't effect the experience much but it's something I notice every time I open it 😅

Love it, almost perfect.. Everything is so concise, neat, and easy to organize. This has been the best app to help me with my crazy ADHD. I am so thankful to the developers seriously. I'm really hoping for the "Templates" update to the journal, that you will implement some kind of system that automatically creates a recurring note for an individual habit. I have a habit for "Lifting" at the gym. I like that there is an option to add a note with a checklist to it to tick which target areas I did that day. The only thing is I have to recreate the checklist each day. It's so close to being optimal, if templates could automatically recur each day for people with checklists inside of specific habits, and log which items on the checklist were completed while refreshing for the next day, I think this app would be perfect. Also maybe the ability to hide the streak count for specific habits from the home menu, and capitalized words for the custom units just for neatness sake. You guys did an amazing job ❤️💕

Overall Review. I like how the app is organized and designed to fit any personal preference to fit a variety of lifestyles. The only downside of this app is that there is a limited quantity of free habit tracking and all other tools embedded in the app. I wish there were more but overall this app fits my needs and budget for improving my lifestyle

Good with a few flaws. This app is generally really good and it’s helped me a lot since getting it. But there’s one pretty significant feature missing, and it’s an option to pause habits and not lose your streak. For example if you become sick or go on a vacation and you can’t follow your regular habits and routine. It makes me feel guilty for losing my streaks, but like sometimes your routine has routine has to change for a few days! I feel like this would be fairly easy to implement and would make the app almost perfect to me. A way to set goals to be for a set amount of time (like exercising for 30 min for example) but still be able to check it off just once and not have to check off all the minutes would also be great. If my goal is to exercise for 30 min, I’m gonna do it all at once. I don’t want to have the click the check mark a bunch of times to get to it completed. If those two features were added it would be a perfect 5 stars to me!

Overall good. Generally happy with this! I would love a way to “archive” or pause a habit. Would also be nice if changing a habit goal did not retroactively change the past tracking of the habit to be based on that goal. All in all good and very helpful app though.
- ★★★★★simple, highly customizable tracker
Great!. Love this app! Love being above to see the weekly and monthly tracking. Only wish, is that “skipped” days showed up in a different color on the tracker, so when looking back instead of thinking I skipped the habit that day, they was a reason I didnt/couldn’t do it that day.
- ★★★★★want deeper health and calendar integrations
Really good but I want to see my calendar!. This app is great for habit tracking, but I’d love to be able to integrate my calendar (apple or Google) on the schedule tab so I can see my whole day and where to fit things in.
- ★★★★★bugs and UI regressions after updates
Please stop changing the UI. Absolutely love this app, but each update makes it worse and unnecessarily complicated? It’s also counter intuitive to create an app about routine and habits and make your users keep adjusting to new layouts and programming. Enhancements are one thing, but why change what’s not broken in an already highly rated app. Please give your product designers something else to do if they are bored :)

Loving it so far!. I’ve been using the app for a while now and I’m really liking it. I’ve been using it more for breaking habits than building and it’s been really helpful to be able to make notes about the circumstances when I slip up. It could use a few improvements (the biggest one I would like is some more freedom on color choice. Letting us enter our own hex code would be awesome, but even just a bit more of the spectrum to choose from would be nice), but the dev is very nice and communicative so I’m sure there will be some good updates in the future. 🙂 (Also, I’m still really excited that it has my favorite font - Montserrat. 😉)

Great features!. I love the way this app is set up visually, and I keep finding new things it can help with. I highly recommend trying it!

Only habit app worth downloading. This is the only app that has all the features a habit tracking app SHOULD have. Other ones have driven me insane for years - they never make it possible for me to set up things how I would like. HelloHabit, however, is as close to perfect as I’m ever gonna get
