   Too many ads. This app sucks now because you guys putting too many ads!

   Support incredibly unhelpful, you’ll lose your data. I have used this app for years. After a recent update, I was force logged out and upon logging back in all my data, trees, everything, was gone. Support keeps telling me “logging out does not delete data” and that I must be logging in with the wrong account. I’ve only ever logged in with one email. I never said logging out deletes data, but that is what happened. Years of data and premium unlocked trees lost for no reason. Support cannot locate my data. I am incredibly frustrated and will never recommend this app again.

   greed finally got to them. Yet another app goes the route of instead of paying a one-time fee, turning to an in app purchase subscription model. The ability to have access to all features up front is why I used to recommend this app to all of my friends. Do better.

   Locked out of account. Hi Forest, I *love* your app but after this newest update it won’t let me back into my account and only has the option to create a new account. I finally found a screen with a log back in option, but when I clicked it it sent me right back to the same create an account screen. I also couldn’t figure out how to report this on your website as it didn’t fall under one of the three listed categories: request a refund, fraud, offensive content…. Can you please fix this issue and get me back into my account? And then I can come back to edit this comment to make it a glowing review as I deeply live this app? 😅 Thanks.

    Can’t subscribe. There is an issue when attempting to subscribe. It never allows me to pay for the subscription from the App Store. I tried closing the app multiple times and still it never finished the transaction.

    Lost Forest. Forest forced me to make an account, then when I checked my forest all my time and energy was gone. Would have been better off never updating this app.

    Corporatized Garbage. I’ve used this app pretty much from the beginning almost 10 years ago. It used to be cool. Now, it’s become corporate, bloated garbage. It’s strayed from its mission and is no longer a viable tool for someone who wants to keep focused in a busy online space. Really sad what it’s turned into over the years. I will no longer be using it moving forward. Suggestions to developers: 1. Make it functional offline for those who prefer to have the phone offline during productivity sessions. 2. The basic features should remain free like tag creation and editing. The app’s become pay-to-use and that is uninviting to both new and returning users. 3. The app has become overwhelming. To the point where it is distracting. Stop justifying paying developers for adding in features that don’t need to be there. Never ending shiny trees, promotional events, new currency all clutter and hurt the app’s interface making it feel overwhelming and cumbersome. Now, there are too many buttons and not enough value. I wish I could go back to the days when this app used to be simple, lean, and charming. But alas, those days are long gone. Corporatize capitalism invites innovation but it also kills it with greed and ever increasing growth benchmarks.

    Scam.. It’s so frustrating how in the beginning you have to pay to download the app and then you have access to everything. But now you have to pay monthly to have access to everything. It’s so annoying because if you’re a student, you already paid for it and it’s just a waste of money.

    used to be good. used to love it, now it glitches every time i try to use it, they added a pause feature (why????), and they’ve locked the app allow list behind a paywall, which was one of the reasons i loved it. i’m deleting.

    You turned this app into junkware. Most of the app I paid for is now behind a paywall for a SUBSCRIPTION. Screens are unutterably busy, and basically unusable. You’ll spend more time trying to figure out how to use this app than you will ever save by using it. Not to mention the money gouge.

    The pause feature is bad. It’s bad enough that features that were once including are now behind a paywall for an app that I already paid for, but the pause feature ruins the point of the app entirely. It’s like someone decided it’s wrong that people are trying to focus instead of mindless scrolling social media & buying things we need to fix that. I see that in response to some other reviews calling the pause feature out they say you can disable it in the settings, but I cannot find it anywhere in the settings. Also no one else’s review mentions that they can turn it off in the settings so Im inclined to believer the users over the developers.

    What happened?!?. I understand the need for profit and nothing is for free, but it feels like this update was a little ridiculous. Inclusion of adds: Fair. Removal of previously earned trees. : less fair Tags are now behind a paywall. Timeline statistics are now only pro. Extra bells and whistles like pausing your timer: unneeded. Seriously, was there a corporate takeover? This is a wild and drastic shift.

    Это невероятно. Помимо того, что приложение имеет серьезное проблемы с уведомлениями, из за которых ты не контролируешь окончание цикла и активацию нового. Вечером приходится буквально сидеть и считать через вкладку «история» время и складывать вручную. После покупки Forest Plus, приложение стало просто фантастически непредсказуемо себя вести. Уведомления приходят случайным образом в разное время в течение активированного цикла по несколько раз. А запущенные циклы на 180 минут потом в конечном итоге показывают во вкладке «история» совершенно другие, ложные! В моем случае это были 8 минут и 12, без прерываний, что уже невозможно! Нет таких опций при выборе времени запуска цикла. В итоге окончательное время в конце рабочего/учебного дня критично разнится с реальными затраченными часами сосредоточенности. Это невероятно, нет слов. Приложение - вакханалия и дилетантство. Так же, иногда приложение само запускает цикл на 30 минут. Вопрос, что с вами не так. Не рекомендую. Не тратьте время и нервы. Это очень сильно раздражает и выводит из себя.хотите стать нервным, вперед!
