Broken waste of money. I’ve emailed three times about my issue with no response. I’ve paid for Premium for two years, most recently in January, but the app no longer gives me access to Premium features. The Restore Purchase button in the app doesn’t work. The contact email address supplied by the developer is apparently unmonitored. Great app, nonexistent support, will steal your money.

Not worth it. New pay wall without any added new features. It’s predatory. I’ve been using this app all year for free, and now I have to pay? There are dozens of other apps that do the same thing for 0$. Shameful.

Great App. I have used Moodistory for almost three years now. It has been a helpful yet simple tool in my therapy process

Upgrading your iPhone will break the app.. Upgrading your iPhone will break the app, and you will lose all data.

Disappointing. I was hoping for more from this app. Over the week I’ve used it, it’s 100% reliant on manual input and does not use data from Apple Watch at all. When I’m in a good or bad mood the last thing I want to do is input it into an app. Hopefully future updates are intelligent.
- ★★★★★crashes, freezes and errors
Latest update broke the app. The latest update that was pushed has completely broken the app and crashes on launch every single time now. I’ve rebooted the device and still crashes at launch and is completely useless now. I’m on the latest iOS 14.

Waste of time. Compliments here are from idiots or shills

Holy happy / sad. There are so many more emotions than just happy and sad. This app lacks the nuance of other emotions.

Ok, needs better work events and no sas. I’m generally opposed to apps that require a subscription- I think it’s unnecessary and predatory unless they are delivering actual content over time. Not just features. Secondly- have these developers had a real job? There are virtually no work related events you can select from when summarizing your day. Raise? Boss? Argument? Delivery? Late project? Laid off? Hired/new job? Busy day? None of these exist. These are major things that almost every person experiences and is a major impact on mood. But for some reason there’s four times as many “fun events” including very specific things that apply to very few people.

Does not let me input from my apple watch. Please fix this issue so that I can use this app.

Not working on watchOS 7. Doesn’t let me save an entry -perhaps a bug when Apple removed force touch support. Great idea though, will adjust rating when watch app is fixed

The base function is beautiful, backing up your data is not. This app is very helpful for being a diary and tracking my mood! The reminder notification has been helpful for reminding me to check in, and the actual short formed diary entries feel so convient to write and note down memories that would otherwise be gone. The main issue I have with the app however is that backing up and restoring your entries… it has to be done manually yourself and through your iPhone file storage. iCloud backups are locked behind a paywall, and that in itself makes it hard to recommend this app to anyone who might lose their phone or forget to back up data. The other premium features are not as essential such as making custom labels for events, and more customization, but this back up feature is what makes me hesitant to recommend if you can find something that offers it for free.

Apple Health Integration Options?. This app is great but doesn’t provide any way to sync its data with Apple Health. I understand, don’t force the integration, but the option to do so would have kept it on my phone.

Feature request. I’ve been on the hunt for a highly customizable but uncluttered mood-tracking app for years. I’ve tried dozens of mood apps along with apps for taking notes, journaling, symptom tracking, productivity, etc. to see if I could modify it to meet my needs. My requirements are/were a way to record other kinds of data (activity, symptoms, etc.) in my mood entries, user-customizable mood states and other categories, ability to record more than once per day, customizable notifications, and ability to export to .csv. Moodistory hits all of these but one (dedicated support for tracking something other than mood) — more of my wish list than any other app I’ve tried thus far. I love that I can change the scale and the color scheme and customize each notification individually. I feel like Moodistory is very close to being the perfect app for me. I would love to have the option to setup and track custom metrics, either as a section above location or as a separate screen to move through. My use case: I need to be able to track symptoms alongside mood and activities. Currently, I am using a custom Event category for this, but this makes both tracking and analysis more difficult. Other possible use cases: Current emotions, pain levels, hours of sleep, medications, location by name (home, work, etc.) I’m in trial mode right now but would gladly purchase a yearly subscription for this functionality. Moodistory is a beautiful app and almost perfect for my needs. Could this be in its future? Edit: I would also love to have the ability to hide event items rather than deleting them so I can preserve categories that aren’t relevant right now but will be in the future, cutting down the number of icons I have to scroll through. (E.g., summer activities in the winter or certain foods if I’m on a diet) I know I can still access those icons if I delete the item, but then I’m likely to forget what options there are. Edit 2: The more I use this app, the more I like it — but also the more feature suggestions/requests I have! I guess I’m just going to keep adding them under this edit in hopes dev actually reads them. >_< —When the events selection screen is set to open to “Recents,” can it be improved so it opens to recents but then you can slide/scroll horizontally to the next category without having to use the drop-down? —When adding a new record, it would be helpful if the second panel (where it asks for location and notes) showed the events that were selected on the prior screen as a confirmation that I selected everything I meant to. As previously mentioned, I’m using this app to track other life metrics and can quickly forget one or two I meant to add in my record.
- ★★★★★data, history or progress disappears
Sigh. I really liked this app but my entries sometimes disappear.. I know I logged every day in June and now there’s over 5 missing slots! :(

Great app, but it should be easier to export your data. See title.
- ★★★★★a needed feature is missing
This would be amazing if I wasn’t colorblind.. This looks really cool, but I need a way to customize the colors beyond what it currently offers. If I could enter RGB codes instead of picking from a predefined palette, this would get five stars.
- ★★★★★the app helps achieve the intended result
Helped!. When you don’t feel comfortable talking to someone or just need to quickly record your feelings , this is the app! It’s helped me a lot with drama, or just something going on at the moment. Would recommend!

Awesome. Haven’t used it for very long but I like it so far
- ★★★★★clear and easy workflow
Honestly, I kinda dig it.. I haven’t shelled out for premium yet, but it serves my purpose well enough. [Tracking mood fluctuations and the activities that may influence them.] The interface is well designed and intuitive/easy to pick up on. I like the customization options. I’ll write a more extensive review in the future.

I like this app, it helps me keep track of my mental health.. If you are like me which I have a couple of mental health illness or you just like to keep track of your mood, this app is for you. So you can choose colors that match your mood or you can create your own color themes. Then you can rate your mood from happy to sad/ depressed, numbers 6-1 and change the levels of number from 2 to 11. Then you can keep track of what you drink, eat, fun things you did that day, health that has to do with physical or mental, things you did on your free time, misc, occasions you gone or went to, social events you have had that day, sports you did, weather and work. My only problem with this app is that I can’t edit/add certain things/specific things I ate or I did. Which is not as big as a problem than not having an app to track anything at all. If you wanted to add anything else you can add at least one place you have been to, add a photo from your photo library of the day or add notes and thoughts you have had of the day. What I like most about the app is that if you miss any days you can go back and track your mental health. Or if you are not good at remembering like I am you can set a reminder for whenever you want to be reminded.

It’s nice to state somewhere that my day is happy. As I grow accustomed to it, I’m quite the fan.

Great reminder feature. Limited features without having to pay.

Awesome app…one suggestion. I love this app. I’ve been looking for a mood tracker that I can tailor to my constant fluctuation in moods and the contributing factors. Most apps allow for a mood for the day or 3x a day. But my mood can change within the hour. With this I can log a new mood every few minutes if I want to!! And I love the journal for each log. One MAJOR suggestion that I’m really surprised is not here: I think in addition to the “events” of you could select from specific EMOTIONS you are feeling in the moment!! (Maybe your mood is a ☹️ but what specific emotions are contributing to it? Anger, sadness, overwhelm…?)

Amazing Mood Tracker. Super solid mood tracker with an ok UI. The ease of use could be updated from screen to screen but it’s decently robust and a great alternative for a free mood tracker. I hope they clean up the activities part in the future. Use this app.
- ★★★★★clear and easy workflow
Helpful and intuitive journal app!. Dealing with mental health problems has been tough, but Moodistory is helping me keep track of the good and bad days and improve my mental health via it’s unique activity tracker, easy journaling function, and calendar. Thank you devs!

Yes this is amazing. If you just want to track your emotions, I would 100% get this app, it’s kind of absolutely amazing. I input my feelings and why maybe a quick picture and then it gives me the data on when I felt things and why. The only reason that this is a four out of five instead of a five out of five is you need premium to access a lot of of things

Great mood tracker. Pros: the monthly view is great to track my mood. The swiping feature to measure my mood levels are cool. The reminder feature during the same time each night is a great. Cons/nice to have: I wish I can use this through my Apple Watch. I wish I can add categories to my entries.
