   Shame feature. This app shames you for missing one day! I had 107 days of journaling, got sick, missed 1 day and this app brought my streak down to day 0, as if all those other days of journaling were nothing!!! Don’t like this app for that shaming feature! As if I’m a loser for not being able to journal everyday

   Can’t delete 🫪. I’ve deleted this app many times, and it keeps coming back. Every. Single. Day. I’m not sure how you could mess up so badly that your app is acting as a sort of virus, but I (and at least a few others) would really appreciate it if you’d make it your top priority to fix it. It’s a good app, sure, but not so good that I should be forced to have it downloaded… Do something about this. I beg. Update: A month later, the app is still redownloading daily, even after a software update. I’m starting to loathe y’all at this point.

   App that won’t go away. I have to delete this app every day because it will not go away. I deleted I come back a few hours later and it’s back on my screen. Sometimes I delete and the next day is back on my screen.

   Forcing a purchase. My phone did an update the app is trying to force me to buy a plan to restore data (saved on my phone & the cloud)

   Unable to delete. The app has an auto-redownloading and comes back every day after I deleted it (and now it’s getting worse even twice a day!) Please understand some users just no longer need the app. If there’s a bug please fix it soon. Very annoying user experience.

   Reinstalling After Being Deleted. I deleted this app a long time ago, however, it suddenly reappeared on my Home Screen one day. I’ve deleted this app multiple time since then, but can’t get rid of it for good. It will automatically reinstall about a day after I delete it. I’ve tried everything to fix this bug but nothing works. Don’t download this app unless you want it stuck on your device. Horrible app made by incompetent people. 0/5 stars.

    Keeps Redownloading. I had downloaded this app long ago and I had ended up deleting it. Recently, it redownloaded onto my phone by itself. Every time I try to delete it now, it comes back within 24 hours. Not even Apple support is sure why this is happening. Please fix your app so we can get rid of it, this is simply ridiculous.

    Can’t delete. I hard-delete this app every day and it comes back on my phone. That is such a sketchy behavior. I’m wondering if it’s a nefarious app you have here. I’m going to keep searching how to get rid of it, but folks need to know how intrusive of a bad weed this is.

    Stop. I delete this app everyday and it keeps coming back. Suddenly. I deleted it a long time ago and only in the last few days is it returning EVERY AFTERNOON. Please stop.

    All gratitude journal entries lost. I understand it’s an upgrade/you have to pay to back up your data, but I have only been using this app on this phone and one day when I updated the app I lost EVERYTHING. I have had this phone for two years without deleting the application so that is two years of entry lost for seemingly no reason when I updated the application. Please do not expect any of your entries to reappear after you update this app - it will be lost

    What happened to the 1 week free trial I signed up for?. I was going to buy a year subscription. But then I stopped myself and said- you are literally making goals for 2026 and one is to curb excess spending. But you are about to buy something as the first thing you do in 2026! Try it for the free week and if you stick to it, then take the plunge. Ok self, I replied, that’s a good idea. I’ll proceed with the free trial. 2 seconds later, I get a notification my account was charged for the full year. Now, maybe I would have stuck with the journaling and explored the courses and developed my vision boards. But we will never know because I find this practice repugnant and I’m requesting a refund and deleting the app. There are tons of options for apps and I don’t want to deal with one who scams me. That’s not zen at all.

    Bull. I’ve had this app for 3 years. I updated my phone yesterday to find out that all of my journaling for the last THREE years has been deleted. Why would my app info delete from a PHONE UPDATE. I will not be paying for my renewal.

    Not starting. This is the 2nd time I downloaded this app and after enter my name it jus constantly showing things to be grateful for and doesn’t go further than that

    Deleted Journal Entries. After entering dozens, if not hundreds of journal entries into the app over the past several months, I noticed today that all but 7 had been deleted from the app! So disappointing. I will not be renewing obviously. The quest for the perfect gratitude/journaling app continues…

    Data erased. All my entries have been deleted from one day to another. I have reached out multiple times to customer service and I haven’t received any assistance. Paying for an app that doesn’t even offer assistance.

    Lost entries. This app has been lifesaving during some very dark times in my life. Today I opened the app and all of my journal entries since April 2000 are gone. Just gone. All the pictures, poetry…I am completely devastated and heartbroken. I paid $30 a year for 5 years and both Apple and Google backups have been on the whole time. I was even asked to participate in a test launch. Please everyone—beware.

    All 2025 entries deleted. All 2025 entries (except two) were deleted. I am really unhappy about it and not sure if it is worth paying for the rest of the year — and even for the full year TBH. I have been entering daily posts for five years, so this deletion is a big blow. Maybe it is time to change app?

    Disappointed. I have used this app for five years. The upgrades have been disappointing, and devastating in the end. Inaccurate dates. No response to messages about problems. Now with the loss of my data, I’m done! I’m canceling and returning to paper and pencil. Heartbroken.

    4 years of data disappeared. I used to love this app, have been using for over 4 years and had 1000s of daily gratitude entries. A week or so ago all disappeared except for 9. I have been backing data to two places the whole time and no luck - all entries are gone. This was infuriating to say the least. Going to a different app that is more reliable.

    Used to love this app. Then somehow, as with everything, they did an update and now over 3 years of gratitude entries are gone. No reason. No fixing. Just gone. I love when you pay for something and then it doesn’t work as expected. I feel gutted and like a piece of my life is missing. Thanks gratitude app for making me feel ungrateful for you.

    Reviews keep disappearing. All my journal entries disappeared the other day out of nowhere—years of data gone. My data was backed up to my Google Drive, but the last backup was May 12. Why was it not backed up thereafter, like it should have been? I deleted and then reinstalled the app. However, I am still missing data from then until today. Oh, my last backup is showing as today. Why was my previous backup before reinstalling shown as May 12? This is the second journaling app that has screwed me.

    Lost all data. Updated to most recent version, lost all data. Devastating. Over 1,300 journal entries across 5 years. Some of the most important parts of my life. Everything is gone. I have been a paying subscriber for years. I will not continue to use an app as unreliable as this. Never again.
