   App stopped working, Developer abandoned customers!. I paid for this app, password protected my journal files and then it suddenly crashes and I'm unable to access my journals. I have contacted STEVEN ROMEJ 20 times on every platform and ZERO response! Beyond frustrated!!!

   DO NOT WASTE ANY MONEY. I used this app for years and then it just stopped working. I have no access to my thoughts or files. I would have paid another $2.99 to keep it but nobody to contact. I tried everything and thought I was back at it and then 2 days later I cannot print my notes for small claims court. Try anything else.

   It was a Strong 4/5. I have been using this journey with pics and ideas since 2017… my phone crashed and had to get a new one. The app isn’t connect to google, iCloud, etc. where it can be back-up and saved.. so the last 6 years of journaling and ideas are gone. Thank you Chronicles.

   Can no longer access this app on iPad Air Gen 4. After 6 years of journal, songs, poetry, ideas for a novel and personal entries I’m completely and totally frustrated I can no longer access this app. I’ve tried every solution out there and NOTHING works. This is the 2nd time in the last 12 yrs I’ve had an Apple app go missing. Have contacted Apple and they suggest contacting developer. Have done that twice with no response. Can’t stand pen and paper but don’t see an alternative.

   HELP-NO LONGER WORKING!!!!. I’ve used this app for over 3 years and love it but all of a sudden, it stopped working. I’m devastated! It had notes and journaling in it. If the app is no longer supported or working, please at least help me get my information! Please!!!!

    No help!. There’s no way to get help retrieving forgotten password to be able to sign on.

    Formerly great. It used to be a great journaling app, certainly the best for my needs. Then, the author lost interest, stopped updating to keep pace with iOS changes, stopped answering customers and the app became of limited use. Classic story... In my case, at some point I lost the ability to change the date of an entry, which is a major bug. I use the small-format iPhone SE and in entry editing mode, the date disappears outside the screen and cannot be brought back in. I wrote to the author a couple of times but got no reply. And now two years have passed since the last app update - so, buyer beware!

    Notebook-NO DEVELOPER SUPPORT.. Purchased Notebook and lost all my previous entries. Wrote developer asking how to retrieve the lost entries. Now reply. Even though I like Chronicles, I would not recommend the purchasing of Notebook.

    Crash. I am sooooooo disappointed in this app and the developer. I used the journal while on vacation in September and it crashed after a picture entry. I have written to the developer way more than 2 handful of times and have NEVER received a response. I would like To know what to do in order to open the journal and retrieve my writing and pics. there is so much hype about what an interested and concerned developer this is yet I am Left surprised as to why he refuses to respond to my e-mails. I just tried to email again at slidetorock.com and I get a response stating it is an invalid e-mail. Very Interesting!!! So how do I contact this person Thanks Toni

    Waste of money. I have been trying to replace Maxjournal because it is no longer available. Chronicle is horrible to try to plan and then update with entries.

    Maximum Frustration. I was so excited to find this app and happily wrote my first entry which I loved being able to share with my far flung family. Alas, I am traveling, failed to find where ai wrote down the password. There is not a reset password option. I've tried tons of times to max out my wrong guesses. Also, I emailed the creator, who says he answers concerns, with no response. I have wasted a great deal of journal writing time on this.

    Can't open it and no response from developer. My usual password(s) won't open the app so I don't have access to it. I have written the developer and gotten no response on how to reset my password. This is very frustrating and poor customer service. I want my money back since I can't use it. I will update this review if I get some kind of response from the developer.

    Never updates. Over four years, has flaws, yet doesn’t bother to address them. Good app, but needs work.

    App freezes. Initially I liked the ease of making entries in this app on my I phone, that is until I tried to transfer the notes to other apps or my computer. Other then printing out each entry separately ( a time consuming affair) there is no way that the app does not freeze and requires rebooting the phone to function again. E mailing, airdropping and the export to pdf freeze the app.

    Modification. It would be an awesome app if you just made some small modifications. I like to change the color of each page to where you have it set that when you change the color it changes ALL pages. Add a calendar so that we can select the date and make entries also like if a bill is due that day we can make it show up for that day and not the day we entered it.

    Disappointed. Really like the app but was disappointed to find that entries made on iPad do not flow to iPhone and vice versa. Contacted developer to see if I was just doing something wrong, but again disappointed when I received no response. Too bad, I like this app but use iPhone and iPad interchangeably and need this feature.

    Unable to Adjust date on iPhone 7+. I just bought this app. I want to make sure everyone is aware that this app is having issues on probably all phone types. (After reading through multiple reviews) You cannot read the date or first line of entry unless you scroll down. This prevents you from being able to change/post-date an entry. For the time being, I’ll continue using, but will add my own line for an actual date of the events recorded on my journal entries. I like this product and its capabilities thus 2 Star rather than 1, but I will gladly rate it higher once this bug/issue has been resolved.
