   Not very private, their privacy policy is very suspicious. I've been using this app for several years and I really believed that it was the best Journaling app and I trusted it to be secure, not just from outside people but from THEM, the company themself I am sad to have to give them a low rating but If u go online and read their privacy policy they use indirect word salad, instead of just simply saying "your content is encrypted and secured, no one can access them, not even our company itself " They do not say this, nor does the app itself say this Whats app is a great example of putting emphasis on encryption If u use this app I would take great caution with this app You would think the #1 brag for a diary app would be it's PRIVACY policy and security and encryption especially but they do not emphasize this I feel like people at this company look at peoples private journal entries If I am wrong please let me know, I would love to be proven wrong!! But if this is the case this app needs to be shut down that is so wrong Idk if other diary apps do this but this is a great betrayal of trust

   Used this for years, loved it, but it no longer works at all on M1 or later Macs. I have used Diaro for years on iOS and Android, as well as the web app, and wanted to get it working on my M1 Mac, but it does not even launch and work there. It stays on the blue splash screen with a little white notepad and never goes to any other screen. No way to log in, no input, no way to see my diary entries, nothing.

   Extremely Unstable after Recent Update. The app keeps crashing after loading an entry with photos already added to it. Has been occurring every time since the recent update. Attention to this issue should be addressed as soon as possible.

   Diaro keeps deleting my review. I want my money back! No customer service you guys won't respond. The dates on my Diaro are changing on there own. Everything is messed up and out of order. The app is now useless and for $40 and I can't get a hold of someone!!!!! I'm about to never buy an app again because of your company!!!! I've lost all my entries!!!!!! UPDATE AFTER DIARO FINALLY RESPONDED: I paid for the pro lifetime I don’t remember the exact price but YES THE DATES ARE CHANGING BY THEMSELVES OR I WOULDN’T BE THIS UPSET! I DO NOT recommend this app!

   all my data erased. i initially loved this app so much and i put all my time into writing journal entries for 6+ years. sadly, one day while i was updating diaro all my data was cleared and i reached out to support and i was still unable to retrieve my data back.

    Nonexistent customer support. I bought the annual subscription to see my journal entries on multiple devices. For some of my entries, I accidentally created them under a different email account. To get all of my entries moved under one account, I emailed support for help on August 31. I didn’t hear back from them until October 13, and they said that they didn’t have the email for my paid account and wouldn’t help me. So basically, I paid for a subscription that the developer didn’t even know about. If you don’t need customer support, I’m sure this app is OK, but if you need support don’t plan on getting it from this developer. Do yourself a favor and find a similar app with better customer support.

    Deleted my entries. Ive had this app since 2017 or 2018 and i opened it one day and everything was gone. 😭

    Would be 5 stars but no support at all. I love the look and feel of this app. I am a PRO member/subscriber and have been for some time, with over a thousand entries. However, I have been trying to contact the company for support for well over a month and have sent multiple emails, but there has been ZERO response or even acknowledgement. My support questions are deal-breakers, and I conveyed that in my emails, but no reply at all. As a result, I have started testing other apps and will (reluctantly) move if I can't get a response. I can't trust a product that has no support, so my 5-star review has become a 1-star. The issue I tried to reach support about was that you sync your data, every entry re-dated to the date of sync rather than the date of creation, and there is no way (other than typing it in) I can find to preserve a record of the date the entry was made. This is a MASSIVE issue. The purpose of a diary/diary app is to create a dated record of events. Most of my entries are made on mobile, and so I have sync from the web app in order to see the entries made on mobile. They don't auto-sync, and when I manually sync in the web app, every entry is given the date of the sync, ruining the purpose of dated entries. I hope that this review will spark some response from the developers, instead of being ignored like my emails. I'll update my review at some point to reflect that outcome.

    Not same. The Apple Store display of how a diary page looks is not the same as the app. The picture is not at the top of the diary page but at the bottom.

    Images look horrible. I’m glad I didn’t purchase the full version. Importing images on the first few entries works as expected. After a couple more entries all of newly added pictures look like low quality preview (?) images - useless for me. Is this intentional? Broken on my iPhone 11 Pro AND on my iPad Air 2.

    Done Right. I’m not sure what happened, but for months I haven’t had my original entries at all. Today I thought I would try one more time just to see if I could get lucky. And BAM!!! There it is, all of my stuff. Still not sure what happened, but my deepest gratitude to the team at Diaro, I am very-very happy, God bless everyone of y’all, I truly thought I had lost everything. 5 stars guy’s....

    Photo. I did not grasp when I purchased app that to upload photo you must use Dropbox. I have unlimited gmail storage and 100gig iCloud, I have no use for Dropbox. I requested refund as I bought pro and was denied. $6 lesson.😂

    Free version won’t export entries. The free version is great as long as the device you used is the only place you are ever going to want to see your journal entries. If you try to export or print it won’t do it unless you buy the upgrade. The only free option I found is to copy or share one entry at a time… extremely cumbersome if you have a bunch of entries you want to export.

    Glitchy stuff while typing. When I try to type in landscape mode the screen keeps jumping up and down and it’s so irritating I honestly feel angrier after journaling, which kind of defeats the purpose

    Nonsense ordering.. It lets you add timestamps to entries but orders them by when they are created. I'm going to add the most significant stuff first, but then the timeline doesn't make any sense. If I think of something that happened earlier I have to redo every entry afterwards? Why have a timestamp at all if it's going to be ignored, no one writes things in a diary as they're happening.
