   Stick With Duolingo. First starting out, I enjoyed the app. I quickly realized that you couldn’t do anything else with the app unless you paid more the subscription. Duolingo does offer a paid plan, but you’re not forced to purchase in order to use the app like you have to with Speak. Save your money.

   Review. Would have been an actual good app if it didnt cost money to get access to every lesson. Only 1 free lesson and then you have to pay for every other lesson. Might as well make the app cost money as a whole instead of it being free on the app store. Im not paying to speak words.

   No Arabic language!!!. Very disappointing, i was excited to use this app , but there is no Arabic language support, Arabic is my native language and its difficult to learn through an app that doesn’t offer instructions or explanations in Arabic. Please add Arabic support

   AI change. It was much better before they switch everything to AI, I would not have paid for a year subscription if I knew they were going to solely use AI . The native speakers sounded so much better but now it’s too robot for authentic sounding words and it really only understands if you say the things back with the robotic tone. Super disappointing.

   just a cash grab. you literally only get ONE lesson for free and have to pay to pretty much use the whole app. I expected an option where u can pay to have no adds, unlimited content etc, but the only way we can learn a different language is to pay for it entirely?? lame asf. Id rate 0 stars if I could

    Even if you pronounce words wrong it still says you got it right. That is bad because for new learners they might think how they’re saying it is correct even though it’s completely wrong

    Audio doesn’t work. This was a good program until the audio stopped working. Save your money for a program that works and that is supported.

    add more common languages.. You need to add russian language. Russian is much more widespread than polish. And russian speakers aren’t just people from russia; they’re from multiple of Slavic, Baltic and European countries. It’s literally the 8th most popular language in the world. Russian speakers also want to learn English.

    Speech Recognition. Doesn’t work! I have to manually press the skip button on every prompt. It’s not recognizing when I get a word correct

    This is the reason why I am forced to cancel my subscription.. The reason is simple: there’s no option to use the app entirely in English. The list of native languages is also too limited. For example, Russian isn’t available, while Polish is. It’s frustrating when I have to complete an exercise and the instructions themselves are written in Polish. If the instructions were in English, I would understand them without any problem.

    Annoying.. I didn't even get passed the introduction to the app, because the amount of annoying, invasive, and somewhat harassing BARRAGE of questions being asked prior to starting the first lesson. Like, DUDE, If I wanted you to know why I'm learning a new language, I'd tell ya. However, personally--it AIN'T NONE OF YA DAM BUSINESS.

    Absolutely not worth it. It is not free. It is a very expensive subscription. They say they offer a free week but they don’t even do that, they stop you from being able to use the speak (voice) feature after one lesson. Then you have to upgrade to an even higher subscription. Not even worth the trial. Seems like an interesting method but I guess we’ll have to wait for a more reasonable app to find out.

    False advertising and Monetization. Based off from the adds I’ve been seeing online, I was not expecting it to be monetized so heavily. There’s no reason to have everything be locked behind a paywall. I wouldn’t mind if some features locked behind a pay, but everything?!? Terrible

    Not worth it. 1. Pay Wall… 2. It’s not very intuitive… I honestly can’t tell why my microphone wasn’t working but it sucked (yes I checked that it has access and it worked fine for the initial setup). Too expensive for what it is.

    Paywall. They offer you a free trial, but I don't choose this option because they might charge you anyway. You can't use it at all unless you accept the trial and subscription. So, I immediately deleted it.

    Beware of the Free Trial!!!. I did the free trial, and decided to cancel before it was over because I wasn’t using the app like I thought I would. The app confirmed that it was canceled and that the subscription would expire April 8th, 2026. I was still charged for an entire year of the subscription. I took a screenshot of the proof of cancellation hoping to send it in through the support center, but there’s no way for me to explain what happened or attach it. It just gives a few general options to choose from that weren’t very helpful. I had to request a refund through Apple and am now waiting to see if it gets approved. I just took a deeper dive through the reviews and saw that others have had the same issue.

    Took my money. I paid for the tool but did not receive the access to it. I emailed them multiple times and sent proof of payment. I got responses that someone would look into it and assist but no one ever did. Now I can’t even get a response back from them.
