   Poor customer service. Can’t update paid subscription, lost all data have had for years. Nobody responds to my queries.

   Somewhat OK but…. “I cannot cannot enter remarks for an item. When clicking on that field, no keyboard is activated.” I have been waiting almost a year for them to fix this problem. I wrote about this in June 2024 and they promised to address it. In spite of my follow ups. nothing has happened. It’s a good app when it works. But it is really frustrating when you can’t get a simple fix in place.

   No Response. I’ve had this app forever and still love it but I can’t remember my password and can’t reset it to sync and couldn’t send invite to my hubby to share together. Sent a request and nothing back from them at all! Maybe this review will get them to help me. Don’t send another request link because I already used it.

   Used to LOVE this app. NO LONGER!!. Used to absolutely love this but now all of a sudden if you search for an item in your list while in ‘prepare’ mode - INSTEAD of the item and instead of getting an “add” option an AD showing an item (I have no interest in BTW, I mean Sunset Prunes comes up when I am searching for “Ice” ?? It shows up at the TOP OF the LIST like I already have that in my master list (I do NOT) and it has selected as adding “1” ??!! WTH?! I used to recommend this app to everyone I knew it was so good. YOU FREAKING BLEW IT! ANDDD I PURCHASED this app years ago - not the Free version - THE PAID VERSION.

   No longer supported. This has been my grocery shopping app since I first got an iPhone in 2010. Sadly, even after charging a fee, support for this app has tanked. There have been no meaningful updates to features, usability, bug fixes, performance, or UI improvements since 2019. Support does not respond to submitted issues. Unable to export data to migrate to another app.

   Terrible service. App works okay, but we paid for no ads and still get them, and it no longer syncs with my family members, which was the main point for using this. Better off using something else.

   No longer useful. The key feature of this app is to share grocery lists with my family. That no longer works. Ive been a subscriber for years but that ends in a couple of months. I will move to Apple Notes.

   Don’t!. Just don’t, do not wast your time. Be paid for the app. Then they tried to make us pay for a subscription, and after years of using it all our info is just gone! Just do not waste your time.

   Terrrible!. My husband and I struggle to sync our groceries. After we updated the app, it’s all messed up. He can no longer see the items that I input. We are looking for a different app.

    Used to be a great app. I’ve been using this app for many years and it was one of my go to apps. It was just wonderful for shopping at the very stores and I regularly shop in. I have hundreds of items on my list. A couple of upgrades ago it decided to add almost every item in all my lists to the local hardware store I had recently added. And if you delete the store you delete everything in its lists, so I can’t delete it. Further I just found out I can’t add stores anymore at all. I can’t believe how far downhill this app has gone in the last couple of years. One star is way too good for this app. Edit: more than a year later, and nothings fixed. Obviously if they've stopped maintaining this app. Edit: i've replaced Grocery gadget with AnyList which has, near as I can tell all the features of Grocery gadget without any of the many glitches.

    Poor app support and functionality. There is no one Available for support ever, even though I pay for an annual subscription. It is very frustrating. We should all cancel our memberships and delete this app from our phones

    Completely Browln. No longer works, sync I had in place for years no longer connecting. After dropping from group and trying to reconnect says server invalid, so tried dropping both sides and redoing sign up. Sign up crashes the app when entering the email address as you type the .com it attempts to verify email and crashes Need more updates then one a year and now totally broken app

    Looking for something new. I have used this app for years and have always been mostly satisfied. However, I’m looking for something new. For some reason I can’t scan barcodes with my iPhone 14 Pro. The phone is fine, this app just can’t seem to focus on the barcodes. That was a big deal for me and it no longer works.

    Money grab. I’ve had this app for many many years. Paid for it outright maybe 10 years ago. Then a few years back they said just kidding now you have to pay again and again and again. I’m not one for change so I bent over and accepted it, but now they have big, flashing, obnoxious ads that you can’t get away from too. They need to make up their minds. Either subscription fee or ads but not both. Oh. And as of this writing the app hasn’t been updated in a year. I don’t know if that’s a security issue or not. Either way, sad to see it go down the drain like this :(

    Used for years, paid for pro & they gave me ads. I’ve used this app for easily 10+ years and had paid for the pro version. Apparently the app was sold & the new owners decided to screw over all the OG users and give them ads. Their response to me about the ads was essentially “too bad” and that I should pay AGAIN for an ad-free experience. They clearly don’t give a crap about their users. The app hasn’t had a major facelift or big improvement EVER so they will never see another dime from me - even just on principle alone.

    Lost all my entries. I have had this app for years and paid for the enhanced version so i could add unlimited items. I don’t mind that all of a sudden i have to pay a yearly fee for this but all of my entries have disappeared and i am back to square one. I have reached out to get help restoring my app but have gotten no response. If i cant have my app back with all entries then i will not be renewing but will it cancel by Oct. 3. You guys are making a good argument for why paper is better!

    Paid subscriber for years, no response to requests for help with this years PAID subscription. My subscription payment processed January 2023. We noticed last month that our household’s lists were not syncing. No response to 4 Help Requests over the last month. If our lists don’t sync, there is NO VALUE in a paid subscription. Neither the APP Company nor Apple have responded other than the immediate automatic replies. I’m giving them this weekend then requesting a refund through Apple.

    Not syncing. I have used this app for years. Lately it hasn’t been consistently syncing between devices. That makes it basically a useless app and I might as well be using a paper shopping list.

    Buggy. Wrong item count. On the home scream it always shows 4 items more than on a list in the app. Prices for multiple stores magically disappear randomly, like that never been entered. Recently I have found than some of my important notes for items are gone. Disappeared. This app was much better before these people went to subscription model. Looks like they work on how to make more money and leaving app functionality behind

    Stopped syncing.. This app worked well for years but now my iPad won't sync with my phone. I make my list on the iPad and take the phone to the store. I'm not willing to spend hours trying to sync this app. I'd rather go back to paper. I'd gladly subscribe if the app would actually work. I'll try something else. Deleted.

    Get ANYLIST instead. EDIT: I just subscribed for one month and I STILL have no way to log in to restore my lists. EDIT 2: I finally figured out where to find the login (SO not intuitive) but guess what? Invalid group or password DESPITE being able to use those same credentials on the website just fine. I’m SO done. I’ve downloaded ANYLIST instead and it does EVERYTHING this app used to do, for the same price, AND MORE, and the interface is customizable. I’m not usually this vindictive, but I’m SO angry. I’m just grateful I have a much better option. Original review: I’ve had this app for TEN YEARS and even paid for multiple people in my household to have the ad-free version before it went to subscription. I don’t want to pay for a subscription so I’m willing to put up with the ads. But it now quit working and kept crashing, as everyone else noted lately. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. But without a subscription I can’t log in anymore and all my lists are lost.

    Broken app, don’t use. After paying for the app for years, it quit working on all devices. Tried to delete and re-install and there’s no way to join my group to sync lists. Even tho they say you get free support with a subscription, they’ve been deaf to my pleas for help.

    Great app is now crap. I’ve been using this app for years and loved it. I’ve even recommended it to others. But it started to crash today. I deleted and reinstalled but everything is gone. I guess you lose everything if you weren’t paying a subscription fee. It’s probably not worth me recreating everything. I’ll probably just use a notepad now. Sad to see a tool I’ve used and love become worthless because they added location services so they could target ads and charge you a subscription. I guess my original purchase is now worthless.

    Your last update screwed up the app. Since your last update, we can’t add anything to the list it just crashes and crashes and crashes. Please please fix this we’ve been using this for years.

    iPhone app closes. After the update to fix the Apple Watch app the phone app closes when you add items to your list.

    App is now broke crashes when using. Version 5.7.2 with iOS 16.1.2 is now broke it crashes every time you try to add or delete an item. My wife and I have been using this app every week for over 3 yrs and love it but now we can't. Please fix and I will change it back to 5 stars.

    Crashes since update.. Unable to remove items, mark items and close, basically anything and it crashes. I removed app, reloaded it, enter an item and crashes. How did this EVER get released. Using Apple phone. All updates made, iPhone 11.

    Worthless!!. This app used to be good before Pingwell bought it. Latest version crashes when you try to empty cart. Don’t waste your time or money on this.
