Done with this app, crippled by message length max. I’ve used this app for years. And while it’s always had a pretty ugly interface and not great UI and it hasn’t kept up with modern functionality or seemed to even make an attempt at that, I did like that I trusted it and it felt secure. What seems to show an almost willful abhorrence or unfathomable negligence for users is the fact they have weirdly capped the message length at a very short amount. Worse, is that if you are doing voice dictation, it allows you to keep talking and shows the words that you’re typing and it seems like everything is fine and then it’s not until you stop talking and go to hit send that it deletes however much of your message is over and above the maximum. If you were trying to generate customer anger and rage clicks and taps and just create an overall frustrating experience, this would be one of the top ways that I could imagine. It’s enough for me to stop using the app after years of use. I would assume that it had been abandoned from a development standpoint, and perhaps Apple had made a change that they simply hadn’t kept up with, but I’m seeing an update from a month ago. I’m at a loss on this.

Dust fell behind. I used to be able to copy and paste links in dust but after an update about 2 years ago that function went away making dust useless for me...now I can just text or attach a picture...used to use it all the time but now rarely use it...some friends still do so it's the only reason I occasionally go on...I Find it useless now

bug everywhere. my first profile pic stayed forever even when i chose another profile pic and when i wrote something in the parlor section and then close account to start over without erasing the stuff from the parlor section the app crashed and remained unusable

Not secure!!!. Screen shots are available, replaying pics and video is available. They think it’s secure cause they delete your message after 24 hours. So do most apps! Horrible excuse for safe chatting. Had to give 1 star to submit this.

Please send me notifications. It used to send me notifications when I got a message. It no longer does. All of my permissions are. Also I can’t even find it in my app settings to do so. Also it won’t let me rate it 0/5. But I guess it does do what it says and sends messages that deletes so I guess 1/2star

Great app until you need customer support. I have been using this app since it came out. I recently upgraded my phone and now I can’t sign back in. I reached out to customer support 10 days ago and have not gotten a response. Terrible.

Can’t use due to update 8/31. This app went down hill two years ago when they changed their emblem. I tried to give it another chance and now when I click upgrade it just goes back to the App Store saying open dust and repeats the cycle. One star because you USED to work properly. I miss the old days. Download wicker ME instead it’s not AS bad as this new Dust is.

Original Duster not able to login or blast. I’m one of the original dusters. But it will not let me login using my old ID. So I’ve lost all of my connections. And it’s not allowing me to blast anything. What happened to what was one of the most amazing platforms out there?!

Cannot ever create an account. A friend suggested this app but I’ve tried a 100 times on two different phones but the app will just freeze after I try to create an account. Not much use of an app that doesn’t want to be used lol

Needs the ability NOT to allow screenshots. I don’t want to be warned about the other party taking screen shots! I want an app that disallows screen shots to be taken in the first place! I found the Confide App much better because not only does it not allow screenshots only one line at a time is allowed to be read and it disappears within seconds. I’m an attorney I need to be absolutely sure the other person can’t take screenshots and even if they attempt to take a photo with another phone, the messages disappear way to quick to bother. One only has a few seconds and once you start reading you can’t pause.

Bug right from the beginning!!. I had a bug when I opened the site (multiple times) not allowing me to enter my phone number to create an account. I think their site crashes right now because of it. Tried getting out of the app and couldn’t. Zeesh

The major update ruined the app and it never recovered. A while back they did a huge overhaul, and absolutely ruined the app. You used to be able to choose when messages were deleted. Now, everything is in 24 hours. If someone is traveling or busy and doesn’t see the message within 24 hours, it’s gone. The interface looks like it was designed by a 16 year old in 1998. Done trying to make it work, deleting the app.

Great Concept Poor Execution. The concept for this app is incredible, but many times I get message and am not alerted that I have messages. I send messages that show sent that people do not receive.
