Interesting Backers - Bad App. Vision of the app seems positive particularly for developing DJ sets (e.g. tracks include BPM and key info). Now the bad: - Upload doesn’t work the majority of the time with no indication of why. It hangs constantly and requires refilling the form with track details. - Playback will often play a completely unrelated song when going through playlists. The ugly: - Genre selection is limited, for an app clearly focused at electronic misc, a single “Electronic” genre is laughable. - Engagement is generally just less interesting than SoundCloud. They’ve gone for a gamified experience rather than a social experience.

App not working correctly. I wanted to try this out but ran into an error where the login screen never completes. I fixed that by signing up a different account using the app. Then the upload feature also didn’t work. I tried again today and am back at the never completing login screen, where now both accounts just hang. Deleted before it could be used.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!. I thought I had discovered the double win…listen to good music & receive free crypto by completing tasks. Not so fast…app does not allow me to claim my rewards after completing tasks. App consistently tells me to try again later or contact customer support. Every time I email them, the email is just sent back. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

Bug Report. I just downloaded Audius and I can’t get past sign up. Already put up my email for sign up but pressing the signup button it doesn’t do anything.

Category names not accurate. Do you guys that categorize the music know what “Classical” and “Jazz” actually mean? As someone with a B.A. in music, I’ll give you a hint. No…nope…clearly you don’t.

Does not work. I have never even heard of this app until today and yet somehow I have two email addresses that supposedly have both been registered on it already both of which I can’t get the right password for and their password recovery is pathetic. Tells me to search for the email they sent when I signed up (I’ve never signed up) and it’s obviously not there

It would be fine if at least it would work…. To sum up: People are not discovering your music, so you have to invite your fans over… You can’t claim your Audius tokens which is basically the point of the whole thing. It’s like SoundCloud but way worse… And I either like SoundCloud, so that’s really nasty kinda bad… The only thing they did well is getting Mike Shinoda on the platform, but he don’t have to struggle with it… Also to mention, I used his referral link and I either got the Audius from that…

Email is already in use. I am trying to signup and it says my email is already in use, and I didn’t open an account before. If you try to recover the password, the process is only possible with an Audius password recovery initial email sent by the platform.

Cannot create account. Hi, I’ve downloaded the iOS version of the app and tried creating an account, but I receive this error message “Please enter a valid email) even though I’ve entered a correct email address several times.

Doesn’t distribute tokens to artists. Defeating the entire purpose of having a crypto-blockchain & decentralized platform, Audius doesn’t distribute or pay artists for streams with their platform’s Token. 2-3 years & as one of it’s earliest supporters & adopters, this is inexcusable. The initial idea of Audius was promising, now that the biggest shareholders of the token have the largest stakes of the currency, they prefer to keep it instead of doing what we all thought the platform was created to do. “Top 5 playlist, Top 5 underground blah blah blah” is not a TRUE way to pay artists for the use of their music. Being the first blockchain platform for music streaming I believe the platform has failed in its mission. Their will be another platform that comes about surely & when it does, it will solve this issue & only then will Audius CONSIDER paying EVERY artist for their streams. Just stupidity at it’s finest, & greed. Node operators that don’t even distribute music make more than the artists by a landslide. Correct me if I’m wrong? Tell me that you guys shouldn’t pay artists for the use of their music with your platform token, & the fact that years after launch this isn’t happening isn’t as ridiculous as one could imagine? I’ll wait-actually I won’t. Best of luck, I don’t encourage any artist to out their work here, you will not be compensated. Audius, you have to forgive me but this is the truth & I can assure you I supported the platform in a patient way as long as I could.

Wonky with signin. Just letting anyone know that this app is very wonky on signing in / account creation. No tools to get a password reset or any help at all with signing in. Made two accounts and neither will let me in. Unless you exist and consume social media there are no other ways to request help

Disappointed but hopeful.. I wanna start by saying I’m a fan of Audius. I like the platform as a whole. However, this app is terrible. I’ve uninstalled 100 times and still every time I open it it closes immediately after opening. As an artist myself I want this platform to succeed but it’s pretty ridiculous honestly that if I post something I can’t even listen to it later on my phone.

Too hard to sign up. The sign up process asks too many questions that you have to answer. It gave me a list of artists and would not let me sign up for an account unless I picked 3 of them to follow. Problem is I have never heard of a single one of them. I have no clue what the app is like once you sign up because the sign up process completely turned me away.

Sign up is flawed. Tried to setup an account the app said my email was already used. I never used Audius before. Tried another e-mail address, said that was already in use. Tried a 3rd e-mail address and it said that was already in use too. I never signed up or used audius with any of these addresses before now. They offer no way to change password at log-in. Seem like there is a problem with the signing up to this service. I tried because I’m into their business model and investing into their crypto and apparently Diplo has tunes on there too. Was hoping he would post his burning man set. Doesn't matter because can’t sign up with this app…

Log in. I have created multiple new emails and new accounts, every single time I go to set up an account it sends me back to the sign up screen. Then when I go to log into an existing account it sends me back to the sign up screen. It’s currently impossible to use this app because of this bug loop. My app is fully updated, disappointed.

App is DOA. Don’t bother with this app. Once you click on the app it takes 48 minutes for it to come up and start actually doing what it’s supposed to. My suggestion: iTunes. At least it works in 19 seconds!

Unlaunchable. Created an account after linking my Twitter, followed 3 accounts then since then just keeps crashing and can’t launch. I’ve closed the app and reopened, nothing works. Please fix 🙏

App keeps crashing. App crashes immediately. I wasn’t even able to create my account bc it started crashing. Now I can’t even open the app at all, it just crashes. This app sounds like an awesome idea , would love to use it... if/when it works.
