   I don’t understand how to use it!. I downloaded this app to try to make a song for YouTube, but i don’t understand how to do it, how to download my song onto it, and what to do. Do not use this, it’s very confusing.

   Pitch sliding issue while playing audio. Title explains it. I have had multiple occurences of the pitch randomly sliding upward while listening to my music and it makes it very hard to use this app as intended

   Stopped displaying the video. Been using this for 6 months on my iPad and then out of the blue anytime I let a video play until the end, the next video not okays audio. No video. I close the video and reopen it, it’s fine. No help anywhere for this APP. UPDATE: Got an email from support asking me for more details but there is no way to connect with him/her. PLEASE ENAIL ME FRIM A ADDRESS THAT ACCEPTS RELIES!!!!

    Always been my go to player. I’ve adjusted my rating to the last update. Having the app reset after leaving it paused for 10 minutes is ridiculous. Going through my entire library to find what I paused 10 minutes ago is stupidity. I actually want to find a new player. But because I’ve used VLC for about 2 decades, I will wait for the next update and hope it gets fixed.

    Still two annoying issues after several years. I would have given VLC player for iPadOS five stars, but two irritating features bring the rating down to one.   VLC implemented the impossibility of reconfiguring the gestures, especially the two-finger gestures. Tapping with two fingers starts or stops the video, but swiping down with two fingers minimise the video to the horizontal band at bottom. Many times, tapping isn’t “neat”: the player interprets a microscopic downward movement as my “intention” to minimise the video down.   Why not add the configuration to the setting to disable this two-finger swipe down? If it’s not possible, please add the minimum length of movement before minimising the video (at least one centimetre of movement)?   I have written to the VLC developers several times in the past several years about adding the ability to display the subtitles with black box background. It’s harder to read the subtitles in front of bright background. VLC for macOS has this feature. Why haven’t you implemented this feature?   The douchebags at VLC must be very gleeful knowing how many people are peeved by this.

    Subtitle Sync Issues After Update. After the recent update, subtitle experience has become frustrating. Previously, subtitles would load automatically and match the video well. Now, I have to manually download subtitles, and most available options are out of sync or do not match the video properly. There should be a better system to automatically match subtitles with the correct video version. It would also help to clearly label subtitle files based on compatibility, so users do not waste time trying multiple options. Please improve subtitle synchronization and automatic matching. This issue is affecting the viewing experience.

    Update broke the app. I was using this app daily on my iPhone 6. I then updated to 3.7.2 and now the app has refused to open for days. I even hard reset the phone and still the app does not open. I have been forced to use GOM player and it’s not as good as VLC.

    Doesn’t work as described. Added files do not appear in the app. I sent an hour trying to get this app to work and no matter what type of file I put into the VLC media folder nothing appears in the app. I have checked half a dozen videos, multiple reddit threads and VLC sources to no avail. App is a waste of space, don’t even bother using it. It doesn’t play a single audio or video file. I tried using WiFi, the cloud and local downloads but nothing works. This company is 100% tracking data and selling it because there is no chance it’s used for anything else. Total front for something else.

    Buggy. So here is a story. I had a playlist, the playlist got nuked. So I go to play the album itself. The track numbers got nuked. All the track numbers were zero. OK, so I sort alphabetically. The tracks go 1, 10, 2, 3, etc.. so now I’m three levels in to the most basic functionality not working.

    Won’t play any video type file. Just shows one frame while it acts like it is playing something I don’t get it and why does it not show the files in my camera roll it shows like 30 files some I don’t know where it found them and then 90% does not even show up as if nothing is in camera roll

    Doesn’t work with cloud drives. I’ve been using this for years with files I’ve downloaded but for those same years it has had a problem with staying connected with my OneDrive. It works initially and then eventually will show nothing but a “bad request” message when attempting to access OneDrive and never work again. It’s been a problem for years, they’ve had years to fix it, and it’s a very basic feature this app should have and work correctly. So I’m updating my review to 1 star.

    Donations. They have the nerve to flash pop-ups that prevent use of the app until dismissed asking for donations. Remember how years ago VLC promised PIP feature?

    Absolutely abhorrent media player. I honestly don’t know what to say at this point. Video playback feels sloppy and unpolished due to slider not always staying where it is supposed to be. “Playback failed” for literally every video file I’ve seen. Do not use.

    Not reliable on iOS. Every time I want to stream a movie from my pc or nas I log in once it works fine but if you close out and come back later to use it again it immediately closes out the login screen and returns back to local storage until you uninstall the app and reboot the device again start over again, this issue is ongoing and renders the app useless on apple products.

    Extremely sluggish, bad GUI, bad everything.. This thing is an absolute nightmare to use on an iPhone 15 Pro Max. The lag on the interface makes it practically unusable. The file interface and the constantly disappearing controls are also a huge frustration. I really like VLC, but they should delete this app from the store.

    Videos no longer work. Used this for years. Now I move videos from iTunes to VLC via file sharing. No longer works won’t load videos and crashes have to restart iPhone then it plays a video for a few minutes then crashes. Hope they patch this. I loved this app

    Too Buggy. Playback of video and audio files suddenly becomes unavailable in the application media browser. Basically, you select a video or audio file and it doesn’t play.

    Broken. The newest update completely broke the app. Unable to add music, or even listen to any existing music without it completely freezing. Until this is fixed it is quite literally in an unusable state.

    Bad file management. So confusing between folders and playlists but no matter what, it never works. When I press the skip button to go to next video it just ends. If it reaches the end playing, it goes to the next one though
