   app shuts off. why do i keep getting logged out my account? it just randomly shuts off and i have to log back in. i just created this account and im already having issues

   mid. the app is cool if you NEED a music app but i promise i wont be using it again. it adds random songs to my playlist, doesn’t load half my uploaded playlist, and puts my music on shuffle EVEN WHEN i turn it off. I’ve actually NEVER put it on shuffle to begin with it automatically does it and its frustrating. if i wanted my music on shuffle then id put it on shuffle, which i never do regardless of the app. free music is cool but the app sucks.

   Not worth it. There are many problems with this app. Songs will double play at the same time, randomly overheats my phone, many features missing, unable to play anything at times, and songs will be incorrectly played as another artist.

   Misleading. The app store page makes no mention of this being a freemium service, but it is. Some features like the equalizer are paywalled but the settings page doesn't make that clear at all. You can adjust settings for equalizer, crossfade, and audio quality without the app ever telling you that you don't actually have access to those features. The only way to see this information is by clicking the "get premium" button. What's worse is that the app can't even do the one thing it's made for and play music correctly. I tried listening to 4 different songs from one of the app's own "curated playlists" and exactly ONE of them was actually the correct song. One played a different song from the same artist, and the other two played random instrumental Youtube covers of the song I clicked on. I see that there's a button to report that the audio source is incorrect, and another one to change it manually, but I'm not doing that for every single song I want to listen to. Clearly the app is heavily reliant on an AI that doesn't even work. If the built in playlists haven't even been checked to make sure that they're playing the correct songs, there isn't enough effort being put in here for me to waste my time. The video button at the top also doesn't really do anything. It just changes the thumbnail from a square album cover to the thumbnail of the Youtube video source. You can't actually watch any videos. Now if Youtube doesn't allow that for some reason, then fine, but don't put a button there to trick people into thinking you have a feature that you don't. 🤡

   Pauses. Ive only had the app for a short time and have liked a lot about it (The way its so easy to download/transfer playlists is my favorite). 1. My complaint is i could only get through 2 or sometimes its inly 1 song without it pausing on its own. I thought my air pods were bugging (was weird to me cuz theyre new as well) but this never happens on Spotify and i noticed it happened without my air pods being used. Edit (a day later): It’s super buggy. I used it multiple times (at most for 10-40 minutes each time) and my biggest problems with it is the pausing again. Only this time its inconsistency is the problem. 2. Ill leave my phone on the table or my nightstand while i chop food or read/work next to it and when i try to pause with my air pods it works only half the time. When it decides not to pause ill tap my screen and pause through the lock screen but the music just keep playing after shows its paused. If i try to open the app and pause it at the bottom it only “plays” it again, overlapping the ongoing music but the new music is the song playing from the beginning. I have to force shut the app to get it to stop. I thought it probably to glitch because i left it playing longer than five-ish minutes but nope. Its inconsistent, sometimes it lets it play for long and sometimes it wont stop if i do. 3. Another thing, it lets me skip videos by double tapping my AirPods but thats only half the time. A lot of times it doesn’t and its really annoying that i try multiple times to see if it decides to function and a lot of them im wrong 💔 4. Sometimes when it moves on to another song after it ends it plays it the song twice at once (again an overlapping problem?) making it sound super glitched and jagged. I thought it was a terrible remix but when i tried to stop it only 1 did and i had to exit the app.

   No reason to use Lyra after the update. I would pay a one time fee to unlock the highest sound quality + other QOL/customization features, but restricting the equalizer of all things? Why would I *subscribe* to Lyra when nearly every alternative offers that and more for no charge? I can appreciate the idea of committing to being ad-free, but it really sucked to see basic features retroactively paywalled. I'm only disappointed because Lyra genuinely excited me at first. You guys have a good app here, and I'll probably reinstall if a (reasonably priced) one-time payment option is added. EDIT: Nevermind lol. There's no shot I'm paying for an app that can't even bother to design an icon without the use of generative AI. Not to mention all the bugs lately. I'm sticking to Demus + Musi.

   Upset. I’ve had this app for awhile now because I wanted to boycott Spotify and I was thrilled to find this free app! I loved all the free features it had but yesterday it changed! Now there is a premium version where you can read lyrics. That used to be free. I don’t like that free features have turned into a paid option. I think older users should at least be grand fathered in when making old free features into paid ones. What’s next? Very disappointed because I really love this app.

   Unable to log in. I’ve been able to use this app perfectly fine just seconds ago but it suddenly kicked me out and every time I try to log back in it refuses to let me do so. Very disappointed because I’ve been using this as a replacement for Spotify for months now.

   Too Buggy. Great at first, but now I’m constantly being logged out and unable to log back in any time my phone is powered off or I don’t use it for some time. I really use this app a lot but all the bugs make it a hassle to use these days.

    Ugh. I like how they say this is a good app but then it logs me out and now I lost my whole playlist someone plz tell me why it does this . And could this company help me sign into my account again this is ridiculous

    More bugs than an ant hill. This app was gem at first, it had a wide variety to of music and the ability to have YouTube videos/music play from the app. Then the bugs came in, stuff like the wrong song being mislabeled or not playing at all, not being able to add songs to playlists, being signed out every few days and not being able to be signed back in for a while, getting a “something went wrong” message every-time you tried to play a song. On top of that they added a new premium feature where seeing the lyrics needs a subscription now? Don’t get your hopes up the app isn’t built to be a long term streaming app. I would worry about making sure the app doesn’t crash every 3 days before adding “premium”…

    I’m so disappointed in the new subscription system :(. They had promised no adds or subscription when they presented the app online but now they’ve turned around and done the same thing that Spotify is doing, (and the same reasons I left Spotify in the first place) it’s disappointing to say the least I had high hopes that this app would’ve stayed with its promises at least :(

    Another GREEDY app. I downloaded Lyra in spite of other music apps because it was free but of course now you have to pay for premium to see the lyrics. I’m so disappointed & will be deleted this app too

    Buggy App. Really bad buggy app and keeps crashing during playback after few songs. Audio quality isn’t perfect and some songs are remixes and not original songs. In addition, there’s no daily refresh of good music it’s the same repeated playlists they provide and it’s bad

    Not as advertised.. You advertised yourself as being a better non greedy alternative to Spotify and other apps. now look at you. you want money for lyrics and the thing you advertised as not having, ads. I'm going to look for an alternative app now. for both my Android and ipad. I'll keep your stupid app until i find one. and yes i get you need money to run the app, but I'm jumping ship to not have it become Spotify. (side note the app is really glitchy anyways so nobody is going to by your premium.)

    TERRIBLE APP WITH TERRIBLE MORALS.     stopped working. was working perfectly fine. now i can’t open the app at all. whenever i open it, it stays on the logo and nothing loads. i’ve tried deleting it but no use. :(
