   Disappointed by greed. I use this app everyday, not only for music but for podcast mp3 files. It now seems to be forcing me to update the app by not allowing me to play any files until i do. The update will implement ads that were not there prior (there were no ads on free) and impose a limit on downloads (there was no limit, to my knowledge) among other changes. Absolutely abhorrent. I thought I finally found a good mp3 player but it looks like greed got another one. I will be deleting the app and not updating. Congrats you just lost a user and gained someone who will spread negative word of mouth marketing for your app

   Scam advertisement. I have the free version of the Evermusic app on my iPhone. On January 24, 2026 about 3:20 PM PST, one of their advertisements popped up that claimed I had 8 viruses on my iPhone and to click OK to immediately fix. This is a red-flag level scam and hopefully they can remove it from their advertisement rotation.

   Insane price increase. I was testing the app out this month and was going to buy their lifetime subscription just to see that they decided to DOUBLE the price of all their subscriptions. Time to look for a different app

   Free version unusable. Weird animated ads take over my whole iPad screen at intervals, and I can find no way to close them but quitting the app. And this loses my place in my audiobook, starting it from zero, so I must hunt for it, which is maddening. The free version feels like a manipulative cheat.

   Only 1 star for awareness. I love this app!!!! I keep all my music on here and have built a beautifully organized library. Unfortunately I was so hurt to discover they don’t have this app for Android after I just switched over. When and if can we see this happen I’d love to know!?

    Just a waste of time if you care about your personal information.. App seemed promising but never am I ever going to give you permission to use my personal information to target me with ads I have ZERO intention of ever clicking on. Maybe if your app was easier to use and I didn’t have to click on the same thing multiple times in order for it to work but it’s absolutely not worth it in its current state.

    Doesn’t work with pCloud. Won’t play songs stored in pCloud. Songs get stuck in loading and will not play.

    So clumsy. This is so freaking clumsy to add files on my iPhone. Had to use chat GPT, lots of steps, could not load or play files ect.

    The right app. The ads are done in a way in which it does not annoy me like other ads where it fills up your entire screen and you can’t do anything about it but rather it’s a tiny box. Just about everything you expect of a music player is here.

    Decepción. Creo que es poco profesional el hecho que primero esto es una aplicación 12+ diciendo eso es que la pueden descargar niños de esa edad en adelante y que salgan anuncios de mujeres sensuales dando la opción de descarga y entrar en un mundo que aún no les toca (ah que los padres deben ser responsables ) pues lamentablemente vivimos en un mundo que la mayoría no lo son y por organizaciónes como estas que no saben tener un balance no aportan nada de bien y más bien no lo digo porque tengo un hijo más bien lo digo porque tengo pareja y es bien incómodo estar escuchando música y salga una mujer ahí tocándose y cuando abrí los ojos vi lo de las edades realmente deberían buscar la manera de arreglar eso porque infectan mucha gente especialmente los niños, es todo ! 👎🏼

    CarPlay Does Not Work. Purchased specifically for CarPlay compatibility. I use CarPlay for many music apps and do not have issues with any of them. Evermusic will not show connected iCloud Drive folders through CarPlay. The app is fine, but very disappointed with not being able to use as designed with CarPlay.

    Dystopic level of tracking makes this app a fail. This app tracks you about as good as a court-ordered ankle bracelet [and ties your location data with your device ID which has value to companies that resell personal data] with the added "benefit" of having your email address and other contact information used for "advertising and marketing" purposes which could include the selling of that information to advertisers. I don't care how well an app is coded, this level of surveillance is unacceptable. VLC on the other hand works very well, is completely free and collects no personal data.

    Album artist is wrong display. Artist and Album Artist is the same display. Albums by Artist should display each album with the sequence of songs like it’s on the cd or love. If I select album artist all the songs from all the artist CD. Library are displayed. It should display dongs from a specific album. Please check Equalizer plus. It should have an option. I left this review a year ago and it still not modified.

    Unexpectedly deleted a folder of music from my files. Deleted files from my device without my permission. Inexcusable. The app is also buggier and less responsive than Flacbox. Which is a shame because I like the UI for Evermusic better.

    Steals your content. This app has started trying to automatically steal my private audio files and automatically upload to their own last fm server. Absolutely unacceptable!

    clunky. i’ve been using evermusic over the last few months since i primarily listen to wav tapes and this was one of the better options when i started using. over the last month or so it’s become unusable and clunky. when i say unusable, i mean i cant use the app for my music anymore and may switch to a different app because the issues have become more frequent for me. i cant reorder my queue because the song i choose glitches from its position either when moving or when releasing into a new spot. this makes a 10 second queue move take me 2-3 minutes because the slightest hint of movement away from the center of the + button makes it go back to its original spot. my wavs and mp3s have somehow gotten corrupted over the last few days, and now i am unable to listen to several songs in my playlist. i don’t have backup files, but when redownloading and adding them back, the problem persisted.

    Very limited access to Apple Music. Unable to few full playlists only 10 are visible with the app, I have over 50. Also only 816 total songs listed from my Music library. I have thousands of songs. And yes this is the full, premium (read paid for) version.
