- ★★★★★privacy and excessive permissions
The pro version is not living up to its name.. The developer has not only imposed strict usage limits on the pro version, but also revoked the permission to use the advanced model in thinking mode for the pro version.

Bait & Switch on Pricing. My lifetime Pro for early users was removed and I am now reverted to a Free user. That’s bad business.
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Absurd pricing. They keep on increasing the price and launching more and more expensive tiers, leaving out the earlier adopters in lurch, rated one star.

Email spam. Be cautious. They will collect your info and spam your email… even if you delete the app.
- ★★★★★login, signup and account access
Unable to login. Can’t create an account or login to even try the app
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Changing to paid model. Unfortunately the app isn’t going to be free anymore for pro users unless you were grandfathered in, although it’s still being advertised as such. Not a big deal since there are plenty of other free AI apps, just unfortunate to have to deal with switching now.

Doesn’t work. Can’t even get past the log-in screen even after giving it all my info it doesn’t open the app I’ve tried everything including Apple log in. Please fix your app

Questionable company practices. From the outside looking in, the company’s hiring pattern feels really lopsided. Every public-facing design or product role seems to go to men, and it gives the impression that women aren’t represented or prioritized in their team culture. Obviously people can decide for themselves, but the optics alone were enough for me to nope out. It’s 2025 and this kind of energy feels outdated
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Did not give payment options to allow for free lifetime as offered. I used AppAdvice to get this program as offered a free lifetime. I was never given payments options and it came up as pro. Then you’re told to fill out a bug and choose the option…only the ‘failed payment option - no lifetime option’ shows! I will update this if I get a proper response to stop this charge and to delete. BE WARNED IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GET THE FREE LIFETIME

Nope. You have to use your google or Apple account to access. Why not create your own account. Not a fan. One star.
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Not useful. The app is not even opening up🤣🤣
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Lifetime membership terms issue. U need 100 hours recording in order to get the lifetime subscription. Are you crazy?
- ★★★★★desktop is the workshop, phone is the display case
Concerning. Regardless how many benefits it brings to your life is asking for too much access in your phone, calendar, download calendar, contacts. When is supposed to be an app to take notes.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Sketchy promotions, vague privacy, no clear cancel option. Tried to claim the “free lifetime Pro” promo twice (April 30 & May 31). Both times, the app only showed paid options—no way to actually redeem what was advertised. Multiple coworkers had the same experience, so this feels misleading at best. Also, your privacy policy raises red flags—why do you need access to location and contacts for an AI note-taking app? It’s vague about who gets what data and reads more like a data-mining operation than a tool built for trust. On top of that, there’s no clear way to cancel “Pro,” and it seems like “lifetime” and “free Pro” are just rebranded versions of the same thing. Feels like a marketing gimmick with no transparency. If your product is legit, be clearer. Right now, it just looks shady

Yet again ISSUES with promotion 🙈😢🤮. Last month was offered by AppAdvice as a free lifetime promotion never worked on April 30th saw again you ran same promotion on May 31st so two times I’ve installed your app only to have no option to claim the promotion only paid options IF you’re just data mining don’t be gross as that’s just disgusting and you don’t seem like grifter app developers so please explain what is the problem claiming promotion? And not just me but 8 others in our office same experience just seems sketchy + Your privacy policy especially for an Ai app raises huge privacy concerns why do you need a users location & contact information? Your privacy policy is very flim flame about what is shared and with which third parties making it seem the REAL business of the app is data mining and selling the user as much more lucrative than the app subscription itself - would be great if you were way more transparent and open as I read the entire privacy policy and still have no idea why you might need location & contact info except for building a data base scrapping user usage with specific contact information and a literal digital footprint of said users ongoing locations combined those two things do allow you to easily with Ai build defined user profiles that should be alarming to anyone that’s values there digital privacy in a world filled with daily data breaches etc AS Ai is only going to increase the occurrence of events like user profiles easily becoming accessible to anyone And that is something that really should be well defined in your privacy policy about future user data and its uses by twin mind.

Great App until you get too much information stored then it stops working correctly. Remember some things, but not everything

Can’t get Past Onboarding Screen. With the update, I can’t get past the onboarding screen and can’t setup an account.
- ★★★★★data, history or progress disappears
Great product but so so service levels. Great when it works. Twice the app didn't record the conversation or the recording got lost. The first was a month or ago when the recording for a 2 hour meeting didn't happen or got deleted or something. And again today when the recording for my one hour meeting was missed. Both times I would check that the app was recording and it was. So when it works it's great. The issue for me is reliability. No followup from support to see what may have happened so they can fix the bugs if any.

Amazing app!. As a technical person, I’m not easily impressed by most apps. TwinMind is a rare exception. I plan to use this every day to organize my life, have access to my thoughts, ideas, and memories. I found that I can incorporate my daily written journal (Momento app) into the notes section, and have it all integrated in my AI-generated summary. There are different sections to edit, including the entry total, the notes, the summary, and action items - those are outstanding! Ideally I would like to see more text formatting options, the ability to backdate entries from past events, and possibly edit the recorded transcripts. Sometimes the transcripts are pretty crazy, but, somehow, the app makes sense of that.

Offered for free temporarily. I think because the app is being offered for free for a limited time; it’s not allowing onboarding. Pretty sad to offer something and then make sure it’s not honored by not allowing access. Would love to know why?

Needs stability improvements.. The app constantly freezes and crashes and if meetings aren’t recorded you’re at the mercy of this app to hope that it somehow saved everything and up to what point - you really don’t know. The little box for taking notes is horribly implemented and when you’re typing notes because of the size of the box, it’s literally bouncing up and down on the screen because there’s not enough room. It also lacks even the most basic formatting: bulletpoint, bold, etc. It feels like this is for people that really don’t want to take notes but I use it to supplement my notes and catch what I miss because I take very detailed notes.

Impressive But A Needs Attention In Some Areas. I am impressed with how thoroughly and detailed this app is in handling a transcript. I especially like the way it integrates with my calendar. Nevertheless, retrieving all memories related to previous projects requires me to try to include enough details to ensure I’m retrieving all related information. Pulling down on “Memories” only gives me a gear wheel for several minutes without presenting me with previous memories I can scroll through. The addition of tags would give me more confidence that my searches would not miss important details. The ability to pause dictation would also be beneficial for instances in which I need to gather my thoughts. Currently it is outstanding for documenting conversations and notes but the reason for doing so is to be able to retrieve that information later. In its present state I have little confidence in that ability. I’ll look forward to further developments because, with improved releases, this is an app I would use consistently.

Love this app but. Add dark mode and some way to keep up with notes Obsidian style and I'll give 5 stars! Great chat app and easy note taking. Very cool!

Capturing. This app is 80 % one of the most useful AI that I encountered. Is missing something in feature, but I just don’t know what it is. Overall definitely worth the download
- ★★★★★clear and easy workflow
First time user. Easy to use. Very few mistakes in the summary easy to share with others will use it again.

Incredible tool. I have been using TwinMind for about a month now, prior to that I was paying for Otter and TwinMind is doing even a better job than Otter was at transcribing not just live conferences and events, but also web-based seminars and meetings. I am very impressed with it and highly recommend it.

Amazing. Love how easy it is still learning.

So fast!. It creates summaries from audios extremely fast, faster than any other similar apps I've tried. There are a few issues though, there is no way to categorize or organize memories/notes, something simple as tags, folders or both would be great. There is no way to pause the recording, so if I have to continue at a different time, it will create a new separate memory, is not possible to add transcript / recording to an existing memory and since there are no tags or folders this creates a very messy lists of Neverending notes It desperately needs dark mode too, but this is not a deal breaker
