From great to trash. This app was once a great way to help with researching multiple documents. Now it can’t even tell me the main name/subject within a source. Audio prompt also ignores input and just gives me audio in the same topic over and over

Compare the complete difference with Copilot to Google and see the difference. You cannot even rely on Google Gemini for anything when it comes to helping you create documents among other things due to how it uses language that is absolutely not even lining up with what you’re asking it to do let alone does not even cite statutes and laws what you’re referencing about correctly compare your information to Microsoft copilot and see the difference

Incomplete. (I’m going to keep giving this app 1 star until it stops asking me to review it again and again every single time I open it.) It doesn’t matter how many times I rate this app, it keeps asking me to do it again. It’s annoying. The app doesn’t have parity with the webpage. Trying to manage sources is a pain. It doesn’t show the labeled categories, to remove a source you have to enter the delete mode time and again and do it one by one. Good to listen to generated podcasts, but insufficient for work.

Another Product Ruined. Everything Google touches dies. The app version used to function like the web version and was highly functional and convenient. That’s not good enough for the feature creeps in Mountain View. After a forced upgrade, the new interface is utter rubbish. There is no longer an option to enter a prompt for a deep dive research. You can’t even open a new notebook unless you add a source first. Why? The chat area has no chat box to enter text. Why? This is why I have been migrating away from Google ecosystem entirely. NotebookLM was the exception, until now. Don’t bother with this app, just use the web experience until Google ruins that too.

Discrimination. I'm very, very upset since i can't use this great app since my country (Russia) gone mad. I didn't choose that. I didn't choose war. I didn't choose sanctions. But very little is what I was able to choose is to write. I'm a writer & screenwriter. And I am pretty good at it. I used NotebookLM, it helped me to create storytelling without mistakes and make it stronger. But now i can't study, I can't check myself because some guys decided to beef. I mean let me live. Because i feel choked from both sides which is not cool. When i was a child i saw Google almost like Disneyland but for adults because for me it was about freedom and openness. But now? You can't use anything (except google search) because in one day, surprise, you were born in the country that's not welcome anymore. And i get it if it’s about country but i don't get it why it's about me. And all creative people who's trying to survive and making art no matter what. Once again, its upsetting. Google should educate people as always, not lock them in a cage because our government already did. Hope everything will figure out, best regards.

Can’t process YouTube URLs. I’m shocked that the app can’t process YouTube urls. It claims there is a problem with the YouTube url. Notebook LM is a Google AI app that can’t process the url from another Google app.

Why is it missing Drive and Docs??!!!. Seriously the Google notebook is going to cut out its other branches? I spent half a night trying to figure out why I can’t add my doc from the sources and Perplexity had me running around checking age restrictions and sync “handshake” settings. Finally found out it’s just not part of the IOS app. Available on the website though… frustrating they make an app now it’s worse.

Terrible output and customization. The Gen Z TikTok brain conversational tone of this app is terrible, rigid, lacks all customization required to improve output. All around terrible app that is likely making people dumber without them realizing.

Loading. This app started great! It would load the audio, quiz, flash card. But now it won’t do anything. It takes the notes and doesn’t give me anything. Said my audio was ready, went to the screen, it never even loaded at all. 0/10
